Changing Mind

[Yoona’s POV]

“Then, I’m Choi Sooyoung. And you, beautiful stranger?” the tall girl stretched her hand

Me? Oh gosh, I can’t tell her.. I mean………..

Err.. Should I just fake my name?

“Hello? You forgot your name or something miss?” the tall girl waved in my face

“Um…” mumbles me

“Just say it, what’s wrong? No one knows anyone around this pub lady” the girl assured

“Re-really?”

“Yeah, what’s up anyway? If you don’t want to say your name, then don’t. But you owe me that stool accident, so..” the girl gave a thought, & I’m waiiiiting

“Take that black sunglasses away so I can see your whole face. I’m the only one looking here” the Sooyoung girl raised both of her hands

Kinda better. But.. ah, I promised myself not to be paranoid anymore. I bet she doesn’t know who I am.

Okay~

So I pulled off my sunglasses slowly and—

“Yoo—“ she gasped & her eyes widened. I deftly reached out my hand to cover from saying my name

“Shhh!” I was wrooong~

The girl exhaled & gave me a ‘okay-I’m-fine-now’ gesture with her hands. I cocked my left eyebrow with a deadly glare & she nodded reassuringly, so I pulled my hand away

“Nice to meet you, Yoo..jin. Just call me Sooyoung” Sooyoung grinned awkwardly

“Yoojin…?” uh.. was I wrong again?

“Okay, forget me saying no one knows anyone around this pub. Japan loves you so much! Wear your sunglasses back” she lowered her head & whispered

“A-alright.. But, you know who I am right?” I wore my sunglasses back

“Yeah, I know” she raised her head back up again & winked with a sweet smile

Ah! What a charming wink &.. sweet smile. That’s the sweetest smile of all girls that I’ve ever seen, I swear. This girl is really charming, but what’s she doing in a pub like this all by herself? Besides looking charming, she seems to be friendly & caring.. Interesting

“Do you always zone out that much? Have some drink” Sooyoung woke me up from my thoughts & she already ordered me a drink, coca-cola

“Sorry.. Thanks for everything” I sipped the coca-cola

“Yeah, don’t mention it. So.. can I confess something to you, Yoojin?” she chuckled when she said Yoojin

“What.. is it?” I bit my lips

“I’m one of your biggest fans” she whispered in my ear & all of a sudden, my cheeks feel warm, maybe because her lips got a little bit too close to my skin

Fans.. Biggest fans….. Uh, now she would want me to do a favor isn’t she?

“Just wanna let you know” Sooyoung pulled away & finished her drink. It almost seems like she answered to my thought….

“So.. you’re not going to… Ask for my autograph, or to take selca together?” I made sure with her actions

“Nope. Meeting you is more than enough already” she exhaled

“Sooyoung.. May I know, what are you doing here by yourself?” I hesitantly asked

“Hm, it’s nothing. I’m just relaxing, drinking helps me. How about you? You shouldn’t just sit here & chat with someone you barely know” she gave me that sweet smile again

“It’s not work, I’m free, for a week” I replied

I can’t believe it, she’s not.. Overreacting. In fact, she looks so calm. I thought even though she’s a supportive fan, she would be like ‘Oh my God, Yoona!! It’s Yoona, I get to talk with Yoona!!!!’ (auth. : that would be me screaming that lol)

Besides, telling her that I’m not here for work is already.. telling personal stuff. Is it just my big mouth or it’s just that she’s trustworthy?

“Have you called a taxi to get you to your hotel or somewhere?” she asked, now looking at me

“Uh, no I haven’t.. I’m pretty tired of the jetlag & I decided to stop here for a while” I tried to give her my best smile. Service with a smile, see? This is what you call by fanservice

She suddenly stood up & hurriedly paid the drinks. She then grabbed my wrist & helped me get down from the stool

“There are two girls behind you looking at our direction since a while ago & if we let them approach us, I’m afraid something you hate could happen. So get your luggages & follow me, don’t look them” Sooyoung whispered while observing the two girls behind me

“O-okay” I carried my luggage & Sooyoung helped me carrying the others. We took quick steps outside as I also feel like some footsteps are following me

“That.. was close” I exhaled as Sooyoung locked her car & she giggled

“Yah! What’s so funny!?..” I turned to her with my grumpy face

“It’s a bit fun you know. Running away from stalkers!” she start laughing out loudly

“What’s so—haha.. ahahahaha!” Well, she got me laughing too now

“You’re so cute”

“H-huh..?” Sooyoung stopped laughing & looked at my eyes deeply, that smiiiile…

“Your grumpy face earlier, you’re cuter in person” she turned away & held onto the steer

“So.. let’s get you to your hotel Yoona” she started the engine

“S-sure, no more Yoojin”

Dayum, am I usually this awkward? Get caught off guard easily? Zoning out twice? Maybe it’s just because I’m facing a fan, I usually don’t talk much to fans. Well, basically because artists shouldn’t talk about personal stuffs to fans regardless of who they really are & I just broke the law…..

Or maybe it’s not that wrong at all. She’s.. different. I never knew there are still some fans like her.. If only there are more fans like her, I wouldn’t be so paranoid about the dangerous ones.
