[Sooyoung’s POV]
Yes I’m stupid, really stupid. I never knew I’m such a chicken. I ruined the date & what could be our last time to ever spend time together, because I doubt she’ll remember me considering the extra busy schedules she will have when she got back tomorrow. I ruined everything.. This could be my last chance to change everything but… I lost it.
I know I annoyed her, I know she’s upset at me now. She don’t wanna talk, look at me, or even be near me. This is my fault.. I know right
“Yoona..” I tried persuading her to talk
“..”
*sighs* Heartbreak, heartbreak… What a mess. Great job young Choi, back to square one
-CHOI’S HOME-
“We’re back!” I opened the door for her
“Ah dongsaeng, Yoona! How is—“
“Yoona?”
“..” I sighed as I can only see her ignoring everything & immediately walked upstairs
Soojin glared at me
“Now what kind of mess did you do now, young Choi?” Soojin folded her arms like a boss
“I messed up eonni, the date” I informed
“You lost your guts?”
“Yeah..”
“Stop sighing, your nose might fly” that won’t work eonni..
“What should I do?”
“Hey, you don’t need any advices from me. You gotta handle it on your own, it’s your life anyway”
“Eon—“
“I don’t wanna bother. I know you can do it somehow” Soojin-eonni ruffled my hair
“Now go clear your mess” she patted my head & pushed me upstairs
Clear my mess? But she’s upset..
She won’t talk..
But, if I keep persuading……..
So I guess I need to force her a bit
I hesitated at first, entering my room.. Urgh, don’t prolong this Sooyoung!
So I entered & closed the door. Seeing Yoona froze like a soulless person in the upper bed. Hugging her legs & her head snuggled.
“Hey it’s near midnight, why aren’t you packing your stuffs?” I tried to make her at least budge
She budged. Instead, she seems so surprised
“..Why?” she answered with a hoarse voice. I noticed that her eyes are red & a bit puffy. Looks like I didn’t just upset her but I also disappointed her huh? Who do I always have to be the first one to make a move?
“Your.. departure?”
Her eyes widened, & is forming an ‘o’ shape
“What’s wrong?”
“My.. departure?”
“I’m sorry.. D-did you forget? Tonight is your last night in Japan”
And all I heard is an insulting scoff from her
“Great job. Ruining my last night”
“I’m sorry..” I don’t know what else to say..
“I get it” she joined me down & passed me without looking or smiling at me, packing her stuffs on her own
“Go to sleep after packing okay? We need to wake early tomorrow”
“Yeah”
I lied myself on the bed & silently observed the girl. She kneeled down to pack her stuffs but I realized that her hands aren’t moving a bit. Instead her hands are covering her face & the next thing I heard is a sob.
It hurts me deeply to see her like that. I’m the one who disappointed her, broke her down, & ruined everything. All of this is my fault.
But for now I don’t wanna bother her, you know sometimes crying is the best way to release your sadness, so I forced myself to sleep in the middle of her sobbing.
[Yoona’s POV]
I don’t hate her, I’m not upset because she ruined the date. I’m not a little girl that gets upset over little things, no I’m not.
I know that it’s not that easy to confess your feeling, I completely get it & I don’t wanna force her.
It’s me.. I’m hating myself, blaming at myself. All this time I actually got the chance but I let everything slip away, I don’t have to wait for her, I need to pursue it myself. But I was too late..
The time has gone, & I know that this could be my last chance to be in Japan before her feelings float away. I don’t even know if I can visit Japan again in my busy schedules, I don’t think so. Going back to Seoul & I’m getting even busier, it’s too impossible.

“So I guess this is a goodbye?” the tall girl begged me not to enter the departure hall yet
“Please don’t forget me..” even though I said that, I still don’t have the guts to look at her
“I should be the one saying that” she sighed
“Oh that must be your plane. You should be going now” Sooyoung’s eyes tells me that she don’t wanna let me go
“Sooyoungie—“
“Take care, have a safe flight”
She.. kissed my cheek
There’s nothing else I can say, all I can show her is a weak smile.
So I decided to walk into the departure hall, until..
“Yah Yoojin”
I turned around, she called me Yoojin again. It reminds me of everything on the first day we met.. Those memories.
A tear fell from Sooyoung’s eyes, but she quickly wiped it & exhaled
“We’re impossible”
