Foreword
Kim Jonghyun was feeling melancholic.
He has been going official with the love of his life, Shin Sekyung, since a month ago, and yet they had only met up thrice since then.
Thrice.
And their meetings were so brief for they had their own schedules that they might as well not have seen each other.
They were always busy at different timings.
Whenever he called or texted her, she wouldn’t answer or reply until he had to work, and vice versa. He was getting really sick of hearing the continuous dial tone, seeing the missed calls on his phone and having to repeatedly apologise to Sekyung through his text messages.
In addition, he himself needed a break from his crazy schedules too. If he had to continue with his early morning and late night schedules, paparazzi and fan girl stalking, he knew he would positively go berserk.
Three months.
Three months was all he needed.
And so he decided to take it.
Lee Taemin's advice.
"You know Jonghyun-hyung, you will never be free from our schedules unless you aren't in your right mind to work anymore. Live with it," Taemin had said while savouring a chocolate ice-cream cone.
Who knew that one innocent comment would snowball into something even greater?
Way greater.
