His only friend is a wolf. And wolves can't talk. Well, not in that form they can't.

He crouched down in front of the wolf, ruffling its head. "If only you were human. That way I wouldn't feel weird talking to myself. Don't you think so?" He chuckled at what he just said. "Who am I kidding? Those myths about werewolves are fake anyways."

The wolf's ears perked up as he spoke. It snarled, backing away from him and trembled once. He watched as it suddenly changed into a boy. He jerked back in surprise, falling onto the dead leaves.

The boy looked down at him on the ground, taking a step towards him. He scooted back and looked up, blinking.

What just happened?
