REN POV

Everyone is gathered at our dorm, everyone except DeungHae. She’s not even picking up her phone. After 30 minutes of waiting, we decide to go and look for her. I start running calling her name. Suddenly I see two people fighting, and one of them seems to be a girl. “Don’t tell me…” I think running toward them. Probably the man has seen me, because he runs away. The girl is cover by blood, and it’s really DeungHae. My eyes become red for anger and I’m about to run after that son of a b**** when she grabs my ankle and whispers: « MinKi ». Then she looses her senses. So I repress my desire to go after that man, I take her in my arms in princess’ mode and I run to the dorm. I bring her in my room. Seeing her in the light, the wounds don’t seem too bad. I call my hyungs to tell them that I’ve found her, then I get the first aid kit. First I take off her jacket, which is all ripped. Then I start to disinfect the wounds on her arms and on her legs, where the trousers are wrested. Then I take care of her face. Meanwhile the hyungs arrive and HyeRim with them, so I leave the room asking her to see if she has other wounds under her clothes. When she gets out, she says that DeungHae is fine, tired but fine. She assures that she will wake up tomorrow and she will be fine. We have a room free, so we ask HyeRim to sleep at our place. Everyone goes to sleep. I sit next to my bed, holding DeungHae’s hand. I fall asleep like that.

In the morning I feel something moving next to me, I wake up and see that DeungHae is awake, and she’s smiling to me. I smile back

DEUNGHAE POV

I wake up in a bed that is not mine. Someone is holding m hand. It takes me a little to remember everything: Mr. Park, the fight, Ren. Probably I’m in his room now. I turn my head and see him sleeping next to the bed. “He is so cute” I think smiling. At that moment he opens his eyes and smiles me: I immediately turn my head, trying to hide the fact that I was looking at him

« Good morning » he says. His voice is a little husky, but it still makes me melt

« Hi » I answer

« Are you ok? »

« Yes, I think I am » and look at my body

« Nothing broken. Some wounds on your arms and legs, and a scar of the left cheek. And some hematoma » he says

« Did you take care of them? »

« Yes, I did »

« How many hours ago? » I ask. It’s important to change the medication often

« Well, more or less six hours ago » he answers

« Ah ok, then I think I should change them » and I try to sit on the bed, but he stops me saying: « You stay here. I’ll go get the first aid kit and I’ll tell HyeRim that you’re awake and you’re fine. Wait for me » and he leaving, without letting me the time to answer.

After a few seconds HyeRim rushes in the room, followed by Aron and JR

« DeungHae, are you ok? » she asks me

« Ne, I’m fine » I smile

« Who did this to you? » she asks

I’m about to answer when we hear the doorbell ring.

« Who can be at 7am? » JR wonders. I have a very bad feeling

« I’m coming » we hear Baekho saying.

We hear him opening the door and closing it, then his footsteps coming upstairs. He enters together with Ren. Baekho is holding an envelope.

« Who sent it? » I ask

« I don’t know, there was no one out » Baekho says

« Well, what is it? » Aron asks

Baekho opens the envelope: « Well, look yourselves » he says to us

It’s a picture of Ren kneeled next to me, with the end covered with my blood. Then there’s a piece of paper with written “Don’t dare to touch my child” on it.

« That b*****d » I murmur

« Do you know who sent this? » Ren asks me

I’m about to answer when Aron’s phone rings, and so HyeRim’s and mine.

« Hello…. Oppa… Ne, I’m fine… I won’t tell you, or you will rush here now, and it’s not what I need at the moment… Let me some time, I’ve just woken up… Ne I’ll call you as soon as I can…Bye » and I end the call

« It was the company » Aron says « They received only the picture. They told that we must stay home for today, reporters are everywhere »

« Same for me » HyeRim says

« For me, it was manager Song. He said to call as soon as I can, but I’m afraid he will try to find me before I do that »

« Ok now, I have some questions for you » Ren says to me

« Can’t I change my medications first? »

« No »

« Ren, please, she has just woken up » Minhyun tries to persuade him

After everyone left, HyeRim helps me with my wounds and meanwhile she asks: « Are we thinking to the same person? »

« He did. Luckily for me Ren came and Park ran away. But now… »

« Yes, now the guys are in danger, ‘cause he won’t just play with me, he will involve everyone here »

« And how can we protect them? I mean, they are five and we are only two, without mentioning they’re guys and we’re girls. How can we stay always with them?! » HyeRim is frustrated
