Sometimes when Youngjae spares a glance at Daehyun, he wonders why the hell he even bothered to befriend him as a kid. Granted, when he was younger, Youngjae was a naive ball of cuteness who thought everyone deserved a friend (and he still does believe that), but sometimes looking at Daehyun makes him question his beliefs. Just like now, while Youngjae’s doing laundry, Daehyun’s sitting on the couch feeding leftover pizza crust to his dog, Kimchi.

“Daehyun!” Youngjae calls out. Daehyun lifts his head and grins at the younger brunette across the room.

“Yeah?”

“Go take out the trash.”

“No.”

Youngjae frowns and shoots him a glare while aiming a dirty sock at his roommate’s face. “.”

He misses and the sock lands on Kimchi’s nose.

“Love you too.”

Which leads to Youngjae remembering the first reason in his ‘Reasons I Hate The Guts of That Damned Jung Daehyun’ List : Daehyun’s a notorious lazy .

Whenever Youngjae brings the subject up, Daehyun argues back that Junhong’s bed has a boatload of crap on it too (i.e. an iPad, laptop, bag of chips, Yu-Gi-Oh cards), but Youngjae has none of it, telling him that at least Junhong didn’t have apple cores and two-week-old PB&J sandwiches lying underneath the sheets.

Daehyun continues feeding Kimchi the leftover crust, still grinning to himself like he has no worries in the world (even though Youngjae knows he does). The younger of the two humans bends over to pick up the mustard-stained green shirt lying forgotten on Daehyun’s bed. He stares at the article of clothing, muttering under his breath about Daehyun’s lack of knowledge in hygiene before tossing it in the hamper.

With this, Youngjae sighs and decides that maybe he really should complete that ‘Reasons I Should Kick Jung Daehyun Out Of The Apartment’ list he started a few days ago. He’s still working on shortening the title.
