Chapter 31

Ann, Sam and Coleen were walking through the parking lot. Sam has his own car so he offered a ride.

Sam : come in now girls .. you may both sit at the back..

Coleen: Ann I was going to sit in front so you’ll sit at the back alone .. is it okay?

Ann: of course..   fine with me : )

Coleen: okay

Then Sam started the engine .. while they were on their way Ann noticed two familiar people walking.

Ann: *is that James with Devon?*

Coleen noticed Ann was looking on the two people ..

Coleen: Ann is something wrong? Do you know those people?

Ann: ah nothing’s wrong .. I .. I just ..  uhm nevermind ..

Coleen: okay

Sam looked at Ann with pity on his eyes ..

Sam: *maybe those two were Ann’s friends*

Ann: Sam that is my house you may stop there ..

Then Sam stopped the car .. Ann went outside. Her mom saw her ..

Mrs. Li: hey Ann ..  so whose these people?

Sam: good evening maam .. were Ann’s friends ..

Mrs. Li: so new friends Ann?

Coleen: yes maam .. and your daughter is awesome!

Ann: haha .. they’re kidding ..

Mrs. Li: you can call me tita .. won’t you join us for dinner?

Sam: ah sorry tita but we have to go .. its late and we can take our dinner in our house ..

Mrs. Li: okay .. : (  *puppy dog’s eyes*

Ann jaw dropped on her mom ..

Ann: *how can she do that*

Ann: sorry about my mom .. ah ..

Coleen: Sam we can’t let tita down taking dinner here isn’t bad right?

Sam: okay : )

Mrs. Li: : ) so can we come in now?

Then they enter the house ..

Ann was preparing the table and she called Sam and Coleen , they ate together ..

Mrs. Li: I better go upstairs .. take care you two .. Sam and Coleen right?

Coleen: yes tita : )

Mrs. Li: I’ll be preparing some documents for the office ..

Ann: no worries mom I’ll do the dishes ..

Then Mrs. Li went upstairs .. when someone knock on the door ..

Ann: wait a minute guys ..

Ann went to open the door and she was surprised to see ..
