“Hansol,” I pursed my lips for a second. “How are you?” My eyes instantly fell to his vacant ring finger and my heart explodes into million pieces of happiness and joy – wait, isn’t that the same thing?
He smiled and stared at the vacant chair in front of me. “You out with someone?” No, are you going to seat? Are you going to ask me out after then?
I shook my head in response and flashed him my sweetest smile. He grinned gratefully and sat with a sigh. “You don’t know how much my feet were begging me to take a rest,” He growled in pleasure as his “feet” take their long awaited – and ought to have – rest. “So, you still married yet?” He asked abruptly and the drink I was sipping spurts all over the wooden table.
“Oh God, I’m so sorry for offending you.” He said panicky and threw a bundle of tissue on the table and offered me some in addition. He wiped my mess as I tried to stop myself from coughing. Damn, this guy, I would never drink with him around!
When I was sane enough, I looked up him and his worried eyes welcomed me.
“I’m fine,” I blurted out. His smiled returned and laughed. I’m so pissed right now. “I’m not married for your information.” I said before packing my stuff. I need to get out of this place, I embarrassed myself enough.
“Hey!” He shouted and I quickened my pace. “Wait!” Oh no, we’re not playing tag right now, Vernon. Not after you made fun of me!
