The truck was coming closer and closer. And once it came, a loud pop, crying, and blood also came. Byunghun was panting

heavily while Minyoung was bawling her eyes out.

And Haeri? She was safe, wrapped around in Byunghun's arm, but she had a big cut on her leg with blood rushing out to the

surface of her skin and a minor cut at the side of her head, due to scraping on the ground. 

Byunghun's arm was also bleeding, but not much as Haeri's. He looked at the girl safely in his arms and called out, "Haeri-ah,

you're okay. You're okay." he hesitantly caressed her head, because it seem fragile at this state. 

Haeri was sobbing silently because of her experience, but felt relieved once she knew she was saved. She looked at the

person that saved her, "Oppa... Thank you so much..." she said but it came out as a whisper.

"Shhh. Don't thank me, it's my fault. I'm so sorry." he too was silently crying. Minyoung ran over to her beloved cousin and

friend, and hugged them, as if she didn't want to lose them. 

"Haeri... Haeri d-d-don't scare me l-like that, okay? I don't know w-what I'd do i-i-if..." she was cut off once Byunghun wrapped

both of them in a hug. 

As the minutes passed, police came along with the ER; they took the 3 kids to the hospital to treated the two who were hurt.

Minyoung being the one okay, she called all their parents.

The parents came with red eyes and some crying. The Choi's hugged their daughter dearly, crying tears of joy because she

wasn't hurt. The Lee's also hugged their son.

The Im's were waiting outside of the room their daughter was being treated. Your mom was crying while your dad comforted

her, slightly crying as well. 

The doctors and nurses went out, your parents rushed toward them, throwing multiple questions. "Is she okay?!"  "She wasn't

badly hurt right?"  "May we go see her?" and etc.

The doctor replied, "Yes, she's fine but she has a lot of cuts on her leg and one on her head. But it didn't do much damage so

don't worry. You may go see her, but she fell asleep once we finished treating her so please stay quiet as you enter.".

They nodded, and went inside your room, where you were peacefully sleeping as if nothing happened. They sat next to your

bed, your mom took your hand and kissed it while your dad lightly caressed your head. 

They were happy to know that you were fine, they weren't mad at Byunghun or anyone. All they care about now is that you're

okay and that's all.

Later the others came in, and patiently waited for you to wake up. The Choi and Lee had to go back to work while the kids

stayed back. They soon fell asleep waiting.

The sun was now rising, letting some of it's rays land on your face, enough to make you wake up. You're parents felt you

stirring and woke up, hoping you'd you the same.

You're dad quietly wake up your cousin and Byunghun. They woke up and waited next to your bed to see you wake up. Your

eyes fluttered open and squinted, trying to get use to the light.

You looked to your side and saw your parents crying, "Umma, Appa don't cry...". They shooked their head, signaling that they

couldn't. You looked to the opposite side, "Who are you?" you asked the unfamiliar boy. 

All of their eyes were wide open, "Haeri-ah do you know who I am?" Minyoung stuttered. "Of course, why would I forget my

pabo cousin?" you said jokingly. 

That didn't stop their eyes from widening, which questioned you a lot. "Why are you guys like that? And you still didn't tell me

who he is." you pointed at the boy.

"Are you serious, he's ou—"

"I was the one who called the ambulance." Byunghun cut Minyoung off.

Minyoung looked at him shockingly, "Why'd you sa—"  "Let's just talk outside okay?" he cut her off once again. Once they

were outside an argument came.

"Why didn't you let me tell her?"

"I just thought, I should leave it like this, after all I was the one who cause this to happen."

"Wow. Just wow! It's not your fault, it was the drivers fault! He had all the time to break, but didnt!"

"Minyoung, who was the one that let the ball on the road?" She didn't answer him back because she knew it was him who

kicked the ball.

"I just, didn't want her to remember the one who cause her like this, okay?" he reasoned.

"I still think this is dumb..." she mumbled.

"Don't worry. Nothing bad will happen anymore." 

A week after the accident, Byunghun stayed away from the two girls and soon, left to go the the States. Of course when

Minyoung found out she was out-raged but hoped he'd come back someday.

They were still in the park, Minyoung finally calmed down while Byunghun was reminising. "When did you come back?" she asked. "1

years ago." he answered. 

"Did you know you went to Haeri's school?" 

"Yup, around the first week of school, I saw her getting bullied and wearing glasses. I honestly was shocked." He chuckled.

"Me too. I didn't know she was bullied or wore glasses until today. Hey..."

"Hmm?" he hummed.

"Do you still like me?" she asked. 

"While I left, I thought I didn't. But seeing you again made me gain some feelings back." he looked at her and smiled.

"You should stop." she said which caused his smile to drop.

"You know, I'm not the one who needs your love right now... It's Haeri who does." she continued.

"I can't do that, she'd be terrified if she knew I was the one who almost made her lose her life." 

She ignored him and said, "You know when we were little, we both liked you. And I feel that she has grown some feelings toward you

again."

He sighed, knowing that he can't argue with Minyoung. "Fine, I'll try." he said making Minyoung brighten up. "I said I'll try not I will okay."

"Whatever, you better do it." she replied. "It's getting late. I'll take you home." Minyoung nodded.

I guess this is goodbye, first love. Liking someone else will make her happy, right? He thought.
