Minyoung's P.O.V.

"Minne-ah, long time no see." He smiled. "You don't know how much I missed you!" Tears rolled down my eyes as I softly punched his

chest multiple times.

He pulled me into a warm embrace. I was now sobbing uncontrollably, making his shirt wet. "I'm pretty sure that she'd miss you too if

she remembers."

"I don't want her to remember me. That's the only reason why I left." He caressed my head, calming me down. "You can't always run

away from it!" I reasoned. "I needed to, so I don't hurt her." He replied. "That's so stupid of you." I wiped the left over tears.

-Flashback-

After vacation break was finished. Little Minyoung was on the plane going back to Korea with her parents. Since she was

really friendly she made friends with the people next to her, the stewardesses, she was also allowed to visit the pilot. While

she was walking back to her seat, she saw a boy playing with his pink gameboy.

Coincidentally she also had her blue gameboy. Why the color blue? The store ran out of pink gameboys and blue was

available. Her little feet walked toward the boy. "Hey! Do you want to battle?" She said in English.

Since she vacationed in America a couple times, she was familiar with the language. The little boy asked, "You have

pokémon?". Little Minyoung nodded. A smirk crawled on his face, "Are you up for the challenge?"

They started the battle. -Trainer Minnie against Trainer L. Joe- They now both had one pokemon left, Minyoung was winning

because she had the most HP. While L. Joe had only 20 HP left, one move could make him lose. L. Joe was aware of this and

used his ultimate move making Minyoung lose.

"ASSA!!!" the boy yelled. "T-t-that's UNFAIR!" the girl also yelled. "Kids, don't yell." The lady sitting next to L. Joe said. "Sorry

Aunty." "Sorry mom." The kids said in unison. After the game they introduced themselves, "Hi, I'm Minnie Choi! 7 years old."

Minyoung smiled showing her dimples.

"I'm Joe Lee. 7 years old, too." The boy waved. "You look Korean." she pointed at him. "That's because I am. Joe Lee is my

American name; Lee Byunghun is my real name." The boy said proudly.

"Me too! My real name is Choi Minyoung." After the kids talked and traded pokémons, Minyoung had to go. "Bye Byunghun!"

She waved. "Bye Minnie-ah!" He waved back.

The airplane landed and the people were now waiting to get their luggage. Surprisingly they met again but this time with their

parents. They talked about various things while the kids played.

When they finally got their luggaged, it was time to leave. "Chingu, can Byunghun be Minyoung's play date?" Minyoung's mom

asked. "Aigoo of course!" His mom replied.

They exchanged numbers and addresses. "See you next time." They waved. "Annyeong byunghun!" Minyoung yelled while he

smiled and waved in reply. While she was walking back, L. Joe ran up to her with his gameboy and decided to switch them, so

now she had the pink gameboy while he had the blue. 

-End of flashback-

This was how the friendship between Minyoung and L. Joe started. They had been playmates, and of course Haeri was always with

them since Minyoung introduced her. The three were together until 8th grade. In that same year they departed.

-Another Flashback-

The three we playing ball, on an limited spaced playground. Byunghun was too excited he accidentally kicked the ball far, and

it landed on the road.

Haeri, being the one that was the closest to the ball, decided to get it. While she was getting the ball on the road. A truck was

also coming at the same time.

The two were stunned, Byunghun ran as fast as he could with Minyoung following behind. When Haeri finally got the ball, she

noticed the truck.

It was about 10 feet away, honking continuously. She was stunned, feet planted on the ground. The truck was coming closer

and closer. And once it came, a loud pop, crying, and also blood came.
