Taking deep breaths to calm myself, I slowly got out of bed and upon walking towards him; I could feel my knees becoming weak. “Is that really you?” I asked, stopping a foot away and just by looking at his face, I saw that he was startled and confused.

“Don’t tell me you’ve already forgotten about your best friend Yul?” I joked, my voice trembling as I spoke and tears started to form in my eyes.

Some people say that falling in love at the age of 12 was only temporary but Kris definitely disagreed with that. Yuri was his first love and was the only girl he had ever loved. Ever since they got separated, he couldn’t get her off his mind. Actually, she was the only think in his mind and this depressed him. His parents made several attempts of setting him up with a daughter of a family friend but he always had ways to get rid of the girl. There was only one girl for him and that was

Yul.

For several years, he searched for her but always ended up failing and now, when he decided to stop, she appears just like that. This was too insane for him, making him unable to believe what he just heard.

Standing up from his seat, Kris took small steps towards the girl who claims to be Yul.

“This isn’t a joke right?” He asked, running a finger through her hair and upon clearing his mind, Kris recalled the time when he heard her singing his lullaby in the car.

“It really is you” He said, caressing her face and wrapped his arms around her, not wanting to let go. “I can’t believe it” He paused and started releasing muffled sobs. “You never left my mind Yul.”

“Well, I’m here now so shh” She said, trying to soothe him by patting his back. “Stop, you’re making me cry”

Releasing her from his grasp, Kris looked at Yuri and smiled from ear to ear. “I missed you”

“I knew you did” Yuri teased, playfully flipping her hair “Who wouldn’t miss me?”

“Yaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Kris said, pretending to be annoyed and glomped Yuri once again.

“You still haven’t changed.”

So yep. Short update :)) Sorry, my head's really hurting at the moment. Anyways a lot of you have been asking me.

Who knows, maybe when they were kids, Yuri was unattractive or chubby or something :)) Maybe she's grown to be a beautiful woman.

When they were orphans, they didn't really had last names so Yuri didn't know that kris' last name was Wu
