Jessica raised her eyebrow when she arrived at the dining room. She thought it was a family dinner. She was dumbfounded when she saw that Taeyeon was still there even though it was already night time.

Is she already part of the family, now? It seemed like her mother noticed her question inside her mind.

“Jessica, come here. Taeyeon’s eating with us. As a matter of fact, she’s going to stay here while she hasn’t closed her deal yet with Mr. Lee. She’s a sales officer and Mr. Lee is an important client for her.”

She looked at her mom, she couldn’t believe what she had just heard.

“Why? Is their house being renovated?” She didn’t want to sound like a brat but Taeyeon staying at her house was like proclaiming war to her as a wife.

Did Sehun know this set-up? That Taeyeon was staying at their house? Is that why he suddenly suggested a vacation? Did he just make her longingness for her parents an excuse, so that he could be with his ex?

He of all people knew that she was jealous of the woman.

“Our house had been sold for a long time, Jessica. We’re living in Seoul now.” Taeyeon smiled at her and stared at Sehun for a while before she continued. “I don’t think that there’s anything wrong for me not to stay here, Jessica. Well, we had gone through some trouble in the past, but that’s already over. I already forgot that.  One more thing, I wouldn’t be staying here for a long time. I had talked to your parents... and Sehun.” Her ex-friend smiled sweetly at her husband, who smiled back in return.
