Seunghyun asks me if I would like to watch a movie and I say sure.

            “What kind of movie do you like?” he asks.

            “Anything really, except scary. Please don’t do that to me. Before jumping into your arms I will just leave the room,” I say with a laugh.

            “Okay,” he says as he sifts through the blu-rays. I get off the couch and look through them as well. I stumble across two movies in a row that have his face on the cover. I pick one out. “What is this?” I ask incredulously.

            “Put it away. Not watching those,” he says, but I can see a smirk on his face growing as he looks down at the movies.

“You act too? What don’t you do?” I ask him.

“I do not watch those movies. That is what I do not do,” he says.

            “No!” he says, now laughing.

            “Pleeeeaaassseee???” I throw my arms around his shoulders and beg him to let me watch it. I feel like I have been dating him for a year and nothing is even “official” yet. Unless…it is? It is a whole new culture. Hell, I never dated in America either so how would I know? A guy once kissed me and took me out for pizza in high school and I thought he was my boyfriend. Apparently that’s not how things work. That’s what has happened to us so far, just on a grander more expensive scale.

            “No subtitles. Sorry,” he says as if it’s his one and only excuse, breaking me out of my thoughts.

            “Let’s practice your English then. We can pause it after every line and you can attempt to translate,”

            “That sounds like a horrible time,” he says while looking pained. I realize he doesn’t want to do this so I make a pact with myself to watch it next time I am alone in the house-or maybe I will watch it with Daesung! I start laughing out loud.

            “What?”

            “Nothing,” I say trying to kill my smile. I keep looking through the DVD’s and find a thick box. I take it out and it also has his face on it. He is holding a pistol. “What is this!?” I say again, this time as if I found a o under his bed.

            “Durama,” he says. I open it up and flip through the many DVDs. “You definitely not wanting to watch that. I break girls neck,” he says. Now he is trying to suppress a smile. “And I kiss her,” he says, his smile turning into a smirk.

            “What!?”

            He laughs. “Not watching. Too long,” he concludes.
