SIX - "Wedding?!"

[JESSE P.O.V]

I can’t believe this! This supposed to be revealed on the day BEFORE “We got married”, not now! Aish, something is fishy here. I wonder who had this brilliant idea?! When I looked around within the whole ruckus in the studio, I saw HIM… I saw my “so-called” manager giggling and giving me the thumbs up, and right at his side… Yuri noona?! And she was giggling too?! Arrrgggh, those too are having fun behind MY BACK! I swear that I will kill Choi Sooyoung… If I get my hands on him, I will---

“Hmm, hi… you are Jesse, right?”

My anger was interrupted when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Once I looked up, a girl, no, scratch that, an adorable girl was smiling at me and waving. It was then it hit me, this girl was none other than GOO HARA from KARA! Oh God! I am talking to her! Well, I guess being famous does have its benefits, hehehe. Snapping out of my inner thoughts, I shook my head and smirked politely, replying:

“Yes… and you are?” I had to keep my cool or else I would be acting like a crazy fan! Well, I like them a lot, but I guess… TTS is still my top group. However, she chuckled in return and I must say that she is absolutely adorable. She then looked up at me and smiled warmly whilst extending her hand:

“I am Goo Hara, nice too meet you.” “Nice to meet you too, Hara-shi. I’m Jesse.”

She giggled again and waved her hand dismissively:

“You don’t need to address me like that. We are almost the same age, aren’t we, Jesse?”

Oh man, when she spoke my name I couldn’t help but blush. She is very nice and friendly. I scratched my neck and laughed nervously, which only triggered further laughter from her as well:

“Sorry for that… Hara…”

“That’s all right… but hey, I must tell you… You created a big ruckus today, didn’t you?”

“Me?! When?!”

She winked in reply and I was puzzled while raising my eyebrow. Her laughter then filled my ears again as she slapped my shoulder in a friendly manner, explaining:

“Its pretty obvious that you and your band are already getting some serious attention.”

“Oh that…” I replied coyly while looking down. Nonetheless, she grabbed my right shoulder and spoke softly to me:

“You know, I would like to meet you again. You seem to be a nice guy. So… what do you think?” I was aghast; Goo Hara was asking ME to see her again?! Whoa, that’s new! I couldn’t help but smile and nod. It’s nice to know more friends in such a crazy place like this one. However, I felt a gentle touch to my left shoulder and I didn’t need to turn around to recognize the person:

“Jesse…?”

As soon I turned around, a knot formed on my throat when I saw her… Predator Tiffany! My eyes almost jumped out from my face when I saw her; yet, although I was surprised with her boldness, something unexpected happened. I realized that she didn’t mention a word and kept glaring towards a particular spot. At once, I noted that she was having a glaring contest … with Hara?! Something is not right here. All of sudden, Hara smiled slyly and spoke:

“Tiffany…” “Hara…”

Okay, if it was visibly possible, I could almost swear that I saw laser beams shoot between their eyes. All of sudden, Hara rested her hand on my shoulder and spoke teasingly:

“You know… you are very lucky to have him as your partner on ‘We got married’. What did you do? Suborned the producers? I wonder if Wooyoung likes this idea…”

Tiffany scoffed and replied, annoyed: “This is none of your business, Goo… what? You want to put your claws on him too?!”

“Hahahaha, you are so funny, Hwang. I would love to stay and see how you solve this problem? By the way, isn’t that your BOYFRIEND coming here? Good luck and… see you later, Jesse. It was a pleasure to meet you, bye bye…”

“Hmm, me too. Bye, Hara…” I waved at her slowly after… she winked at me?! Nah, I am just imaging things. Yet, when I looked to my side, I was shocked to see Tiffany with her arms crossed and frowning as she glared at Hara. If I wasn’t hallucinating… she looked like… she was jealous? I guess not, this girl doesn’t have to jealous for me. I am just a toy for her, nothing more. However, when I thought that my day couldn’t get better, an unwanted person soon came towards us. A snarl quickly formed on my lips as I added in an annoyed tone… Wooyoung…

[NO ONE P.O.V]

“Babe? What’s going on here?”

Wooyoung added with a not-so-happy tone when he saw his ‘girl’ next to Jesse. Nervously, Tiffany laughed and added lamely while Wooyoung wrapped his arm around her waist possessively:

“Oh right, I forgot to introduce you two. Jesse, h-he is my…”

“HER BOYFRIEND! And who you are anyway…?” Wooyoung added with a restrained angry tone and a forced smile as he extended his hand. Jesse didn’t step back as he grabbed Wooyoung’s hand and both of them had a crushing handshake “fight”. Tiffany even saw their veins popping out beneath their skin. They kept glaring at each other fiercely, when all of sudden, a sarcastic smile crept onto Jesse’s face as he spoke teasingly:

“I am Jesse. As you no doubt have heard, I believe I am HER HUSBAND on that TV show called ‘We got married’. I wonder how come you didn’t hear about that. Funny isn’t?”

Okay, maybe this idea wasn’t so bad after all… Jesse thinks, while his smile teased Wooyoung even much more. Actually, what made Wooyoung really pissed off was Jesse’s calmness and that annoying smile that he would love to wipe off of his face. At his remark, Wooyoung looked at Tiffany with an angry frown and spoke venomously:

“I guess MY girl forgot… to tell me… right, babe?”  “*Nervous chuckles* I guess so…”

Tiffany replied nervously as Wooyoung stared at her seriously with a flicker of anger in his eyes. Without wasting time, he pulled her by her waist and spoke with teasing tone:

“But we are going to discuss this on our date. I guess we are going to see each other again soon… Jesse…”

Wooyoung added with gritted teeth whilst narrowing his eyes to Jesse. The latter kept his cold face and crossed his arms, replying with a harsh restrained tone:

“Be sure of this… Wooyoung…”

Without giving him a second chance to speak, the black-faced Wooyoung gritted his teeth as well as he turned around abruptly, dragging Tiffany with him. The ginger-haired girl couldn’t help but look back with an apologetic face and mouthed a ‘sorry’ to Jesse. The latter was surprised with her action and, honestly, he was worried for her. It seems that Wooyoung was a jerk after all, much more with her. Secretly, the blonde-haired guy hoped that Tiffany would be okay after that, as he watched leave apprehensively.

Meanwhile with Sooyoung…

Sooyoung was staring his work, SJY, actually and he smiled. Although these kids were a pretty handful sometimes, he couldn’t help, but be affected by them; maybe he starting to like them after all. However, when they asked how he came to his decision of letting Jesse  be on “WGM” with Tiffany, the tanned guy just giggled goofily and recalled the night he settled the ‘business’ with someone very familiar…

{FLASHBACK}

A tall guy huffed for the millionth time as he looked at his watch impatiently. He kept pacing in front of a fancy restaurant as his supposed ‘date’ wasn’t yet in sight. When he was about to sigh again, he heard a sound like heels clacking behind him. Knowing the sound very well, Sooyoung immediately turned around with a frown and was ready to give her a long and elaborate speech:

“Listen here, Kwon. I told you that it was 7 PM and not midni---!!! *gasp*”

His breathing was halted instantaneously at the sight of the gorgeous woman in front of him. Sooyoung couldn’t even hold onto his jaw and he was sure that it was missing somewhere on the floor. Yet, the ‘woman’ dressed into a y red dress  remained unfazed by his outburst as she stared him with bored eyes and replied back with a dry tone:

“Well, if someone had fetched me as I planned, this wouldn’t be happening. Oh, come on, I am only 15 minutes late, stop crying out loud.”

Yuri said that casually as she cockily flipped her silky hair. It was then that Sooyoung’s senses snapped back to reality and he became serious again. But, damn, he couldn’t stay mad at her, especially when this woman before him was more beautiful than ever. Why was his heart beating so loud now? Aish, his heart is such a traitor; he can’t even see Yuri and already it goes DUNGEUN DUNGEUN DUNGEUN! Nonetheless, he breathed deeply and shook his head. He decided to let this one slip as he arched his arm and motioned to her to accept it.

However, Yuri was genuinely surprised with his attitude, for it has been a while since the last time that he had done that. He looked almost a perfect gentleman for doing this, like how they used to be… but this was in the past. Yet, she couldn’t help but realize how good looking he was; actually Sooyoung was always handsome and his boldness was his charm. Raising the white flag for now, she decided to go with the flow as she hesitantly reached for his arm and wrapped her hand around it. It’s funny how her betraying heart went wild with only such a gesture… What is happening to her?

All of sudden, Sooyoung hid a growing smirk as he knocked her forehead gently and snapped:

“I know you and you are always late. Come on, there is a table ready for us… Yuri…”

That was when her heart almost burst; her face got warm gradually when she heard him calling her by her name and… it felt nice. Pretending to look serious, she nodded and looked down only to hide her blush. However, deep inside her heart, the feeling was both warm and wonderful.

Minutes passed and the ‘couple’, to their surprise, was having fun. They were laughing at their table and reminding each other of some sweet memories. All of sudden, Yuri spoke with a laughing tone:

“Yeah, *chuckles* your sleeping habit never fails to amaze me. You are really violent, even sleeping *giggles*”

“Ya! Don’t blame me, I am not the one who sleeps with my tongue out of my mouth. Hahaha you should have seen your face *laughs*”

“Ya!” Yuri snapped back playfully while punching his shoulder. The tanned guy pouted at first, but in the end, they ended up laughing. However, when the mood got serious again, they stared at each other meaningfully and Yuri spoke earnestly:

“Sooyoung… do you think that they will be okay? With each other, I mean…”

He sighed heavily, yet a sincere smile crept to his lips as he spoke:

“Yes, I think so. They are good kids, plus your kids are really good as well. You are a great manager after all.”

It was then that Yuri was stunned by his words, to be honest; she thought he would have said otherwise. Maybe, it was time to go with the flow. Suddenly, a genuine smile crept to her lips as she dipped her head to hide her blush:

“Thanks… Soo.”

“Nah, don’t thank me, I am just saying the truth…”

He said that with his eyes twinkling, trying to look nonchalant when he was pretty nervous. Soon, they already were again staring at each other affectionately. Both of them suddenly had a mischievous smile creep onto their lips. Sooyoung rubbed his hands and spoke to her:

“Are you thinking what I am thinking?”

“Only if it has something to do with our ‘kids’? Precisely Jesse and Tiffany?”

“Hahahaha, certainly! Whoa we will have fun with them! Hahahahaha!”

Sooyoung said teasingly as he and Yuri laughed, planning something for TTS and SJY. This surely can’t be good.

{END FLASHBACK}

And that’s explains the surprise about WGM with Jesse and Tiffany. Sooyoung couldn’t only chuckle at the moment, yet remembering how much he had fun with the violent and beautiful brunette. Yuri didn’t know, but Sooyoung’s tender eyes never left her figure as she talked with the studio crew diligently. This can’t be good… he thought as he placed his hand over his pounding heart…

But on the other side of the studio…

A shorty blonde girl was sighing heavily; today was birthday and her parents only left her with a message. Her friends were way more considerate as they brought her a small cake with some candles. They couldn’t do much due their tight schedules, yet by remembering her birthday, it was already touching enough.

She was walking towards the exit when she felt a light tap on her shoulder. Turning around instantaneously, she gasped to see a ‘bunny’ with a leaf on its head, happily waving at her.

*Sunny Bunny

However, all of sudden, another figure ‘popped’ out behind the cute bunny with a goofy smile on his face. Feeling shy, Taeyeon placed the plush toy on his shoulder and spoke with a cheerful tone:

“Hey, bunny. This is your new owner. I want you to meet… Miss Sunny Bunny! Come on, say Hi. Don’t be so shy! Aish those bunnies, sorry for that…”

Sunny couldn’t help bursting out in laughter when Taeyeon faked a pout and a frustrated tone when the bunny started to ‘hide’ behind his neck. Yet, he held the plush toy to his ear as if the bunny was whispering to him. The blonde guy nodded with a toothy smile and cleared his throat, speaking seriously:

“Miss Sunny, let me present you Mr. Bunny. He told me that he thinks that you are beautiful and have a really cute laughter.”

The blonde girl blushed madly as if her whole face was on fire. Yet, she kept her serious expression, trying to hold off a growing smile when she realized that she wasn’t the only one flushed with embarrassment. She asked with a hint of amusement in her tone:

“Really? What else did Mr. Bunny say?”

The blonde guy placed his hand on his chin as if he was thinking and the bunny ‘mimicked’ the same pose. With a kid smile, Taeyeon then added sincerely, without removing his eyes from Sunny:

“Well, he told me that you were sad earlier and that he is here to make you happier. In addition, he also wants to say “Happy Birthday”!  But, he seems a little nervous to say that. You know, he is kinda shy…”

“Hahaha, I see. Well, say to him that I am really grateful and happy with his words. It was one of the best presents that I have received.”

Sunny said sincerely, not hiding her caring smile as she stared at Taeyeon. The latter nodded with his face redder than a tomato as he scratched the nape of his neck nervously. However, he gingerly placed the bunny in her hands and spoke softly:

“He will be very happy with your words. But… he has a last petition to his new and beautiful owner…” The blonde guy fidgeted his fingers slowly as Sunny chuckled in awe, feeling that she could just burst at the display of cuteness. However, she remained ‘serious’ and asked warmly:

“And what would that be?”

“Well… He asked me if you would like to go out with him someday and who knows… bring someone with you… i-if you don’t mind it of course!”

Unable to resist the cute blonde before her eyes, Sunny thumbed the bunny’s ear carefully as she finally answered with a warm tone:

“I would love that… but I’ll go out with Mr. Bunny only if he brings his friend, Taeyeon, as well. I guess we will have fun together, right? So, what do you say?”

Feeling much more confident, Taeyeon almost squeaked in happiness with her answer. He punched the air in excitement; yet quickly composed himself since he was acting like a kid. Then, more seriously, he cleared his throat and uttered sincerely with a wide smile:

“I would love that… and… Happy Birthday, Sunny.”

“Thanks, Tae… I won’t forget this… ever…”

The danshin couple held an endearing smile and caring stare as they kept looking at each other. They didn’t even realize that their fingers brushed on each other tenderly and then, their hands had already found a way to one another, intertwining at the same moment. The mood between them was slowly getting more and more warm for sure…

With YoonHyun…

Meanwhile, as the people were leaving the studio, a lonely girl was seated in the backstage as she waited for her comrades. Seeing that neither of them was in sight, the girl sighed softly, blows her bangs while she held her phone. As her wallpaper, a Keroro picture appeared; she fondly remembered the sweet moment she had experienced with Yoong a few days ago. Yes, she couldn’t forget the action of a familiar boy with the crocodile laughter.

Unconsciously, a shy smile crept to her lips as she remembered his words:

“At first people used to tell me that I was being childish for liking those things… but I don’t care anymore. What really matters is what I think… and I think Keroro rocks!”

She even chuckled at the memory; the boy was such a kid, yet he managed to surprise her with his profound remark. However, all of sudden, her vision turned dark; Seohyun was about to panic when a deep voice calmed her senses:

“Guess who?”

Although the voice was deep, it held some playfulness and mischievousness. Soon, she smiled in response as she hummed, pretending that she was thinking:

“Hmmm… I guess it is… Yoong-oppa?”

Seohyun didn’t know it, but her small remark made a big swirl in the deer boy’s heart. When he heard the word ‘oppa’, his heart pounded loudly and his face got hot. He wouldn’t ever imagine that the most serious girl in the whole of Korea would address him as ‘oppa’… Wow… this moment was too precious and he couldn’t help, but be dumbfounded. When the girl noted a sudden silence, she frowned in concern and asked carefully:

“Oppa?”

He snapped back to reality and an awestruck smile crept onto his lips, his cheeks started blushing as well. He then removed his hand from her eyes and let an object hang before her face. Once Seohyun had noticed the object, she gasped in surprise as she blurted out loud:

“Oh My God! KERORO?!”

Yoong placed himself before her and nodded happily. The girl’s reaction was way too cute to handle; even her shocked face was beautiful. He next took a seat by her side and spoke softly:

“I thought you would like it. See, now you have your own Keroro. Plus, you’ll remember me, so you won’t feel that you are alone. S-Seohyun? Are you ok--?!”

The deer boy almost had a heart attack with the sudden move. He wouldn’t ever imagine that the shyest girl in the whole universe would hug him right now. He felt like he was melting; he was afraid that she could feel the wild heartbeats under his chest or the sudden heat burning in his face/body. Yet, the feeling was amazing and the only thing that he could do was to return the hug, as he closed his eyes and held her closely, as if he was afraid that she would leave.

However, for his reaction, it suddenly made Seohyun realize what she done, so she widened her eyes and hurriedly removed herself from the hug. Her face was all red and her heart was thumping erratically; she had never felt that way before. She was, however, genuinely grateful for his effort. Even if it seems small in the eyes of normal people, it was the most caring thing that anyone had ever done for her. Once they had calmed themselves down, she placed her hands on her lap and stared at the item in awe:

“It’s so cute! T-thank you, o—oppa.”

“That’s okay. I am happy that y-you liked it, S-Seohyun…”

They both held an affectionate stare and slowly, an endearing smile crept onto their faces. It was then the maknae spoke gently:

“It was the cutest thing that anyone ever done for me… Most of the time, people are telling to stop this. But I can’t help it… I really like Keroro…”

Yoong almost melted when he saw the girl’s pout, so he not only chuckled, but dared to place his hand above hers as she held the Keroro phone pendant. He then added wisely:

“As I said before, you shouldn’t care so much about what the others think. Just be yourself and the people will like you… like I do…”

The maknae looked up at his sincere words and felt herself growing hot. They held a shy stare and a tender smile were plastered on their lips. However, their moment was interrupted when an unfamiliar voice called to them in enthusiasm:

“Wonderful! You two look so great together! I can feel the chemistry!” The maknae couple looked to each other in puzzlement as a woman with a formal suit clapped her hands in delight due the display of cuteness. She then widened her eyes and apologized:

“Oh, I am so sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Lee Soo Nim and I am the Choo’s Group producer. Sorry for being noisy, but I was looking at the both of you and I realized that you two are just perfect for my new commercial… What do you say?”

The maknae duo looked each other in confusion as they tried to digest the information. However, when they were about to answer, two familiar figures popped out from nowhere with a wide smile on their faces as they answered in unison:

“We accept it!”

Still, Seohyun and Yoong looked to their managers in surprise as the latter rubbed their hands together while laughing. The shy duo could only look at each other and giggle at their odd reaction as well.

[JESSE P.O.V]

A few days later…

I can’t believe that I will get married today! I am too young, for God’s sake! Right now, I was starting to go crazy inside a room within a large church! Just when I thought my problems couldn’t get any worse… those two proved me wrong. The door was abruptly opened to reveal two mischievous figures. My ‘dear’ dongseang placed his arm around my shoulder and spoke with a ‘shocked’ tone:

“Omo! I can’t believe that my eyes would see this scene! My hyung getting married! This is priceless! Hyung, you are so lucky!”

Soon, Sunny hid her annoying smirk and looked at me from my head to my toes, saying:

“Whoa, look at you, you even look like a grown up man! Tiffany will be so pleased! Oh, God! I think I am going to cry! Yoong, *sob* do you have a tissue?”

“Of course, noona! Here you go, b-but I think… I’ll need too… Arghh *sob*”

Those dumb heads were even crying and laughing at me! Aish, I couldn’t help “barking” at the goofy and whimpering duo:

“Ha-ha, very funny. I am dying of laugher. Now, enlighten me, why am I doing this anyway?” At my remark, those two quickly wiped their ‘tears’ and stood up to explain with a nervous expression. Okay, now I am enjoying seeing them being uneasy. Rapidly, Sunny shook my hand playfully and added in one breath:

“Because you are a good friend and…” “You won’t disappoint us, hyung! We are counting with you!” Yoong added with a contented smirk as the both of them nodded their heads with ‘innocent’ eyes. I can’t believe that I am getting married to that   “PredatorCat” because of them. However, just then, someone from the “WGM” crew entered the room and spoke while holding some papers:

“Jesse! Its time! The bride has already come! We will start the ceremony now! Go, go, go!” A long sigh escaped from my lips as I slump my shoulders forward. I looked above my right shoulder and there were my friends giving me the thumbs up and stiffing their laughter. I scorned at them with my narrowed eyes, yet nodded to the crew and walked towards the large doors. This is it. I guess I can’t escape this time; it’s good thing this show will only last a short period of time or else… I would be dammed…

[NORMAL P.O.V]

The great church was beautifully decorated since the “WGM” crew was filming the entire ceremony. TTS and SJY were seated on the first pews as they exchanged some smiles and endearing stares. Jesse was sweating like mad as he fidgets his fingers in nervousness; yet his breath was taken away when a familiar girl entered the entrance to the long aisle in her bride dress. He couldn’t help letting his jaw drop, she looked beyond beautiful. If he didn’t know her true persona, he would marry her in a blink of an eye.

Once their eyes met, she smiled widely as a blush crept onto her cheeks. Jesse gulped and smiled uneasily when he saw his manager’s glare and nod. Taking a deep breath, he held her hand hesitantly. He didn’t know it, but this small action made Tiffany’s heart explode in happiness. Nonetheless, the ‘couple’ turned to the ‘priest’ as the ‘ceremony’ begun. Time passed and it was the moment of truth. The ‘priest’ moved to face Tiffany and started the vow. The ginger-haired bride smiled brightly and nodded her head in excitement while answering:

“I do!”

When the ‘priest’ repeated the same vow to Jesse, the latter hesitated. However, he gulped when both managers, Sooyoung and Yuri, cracked their knuckles in some kind of threat. Giggling with nervousness, he remarked in his mind:

“Man, this whole thing is way TOO real… Well, relax Jess, you just need to say yes, deal with her for some time and bam! You and your friends’ careers are safe! Oh God… this must be a test, isn’t it? Ok, ok, don’t complain! Act like a man! Well… here I go…”

“I… I … I d-do.”

Everyone sighed in relief at his answer, even the ‘priest’. The latter, with a big smile, uttered promptly:

“You may now kiss the bride.” “EHHH?!”

As soon as the remark was added, Tiffany was already leaning forward and puckering her lips happily. Jesse nibbled his lower lip in nervousness, but then realized that there wasn’t any escape. So he sighed and gave a short peck to her lips; an action which only triggered the Seductress side of our Predator Fany. The latter didn’t let Jesse breathe as she pulled him in for a breathtaking kiss. Good thing it was a short ‘peck’, or else, both of them would be in major problems.

Her face was glowing as she stared at the blonde singer in awe, for the most part in infatuation. The WGM crew and cameras managed to film and take pictures of the whole event. Once everyone was directed to the ballroom, everyone was speaking to the ‘newlyweds’; actually, only Tiffany as Jesse was dragged aside by his manager.

The latter hugged him and tapped his back in a friendly manner as he spoke with a wide smirk:

“Jesse, Jesse, Jesse! I am so proud of you! You really did it!”

“Hehe *laughs bitterly* thanks… hyung. I did that only because I have to!”

The tall manager chuckled at Jesse’s sour mood and replied while placing his arm around the blonde’s shoulder:

“Relax, the show will only need to run for a few months, that’s all!”

“MONTHS?! I thought that it would only be a couple days?!” Jesse snapped back in surprise when his manager laughed weakly and scratched his neck nervously:

“Actually… this isn’t the best part…”

Widening his eyes, Jesse asked carefully with a cocked eyebrow: “What’s the best part then?”

Sooyoung fidget his fingers coyly and smiled toothily. Then, somehow feeling REALLY worried, Jesse raised his eyebrow apprehensively and his manager finally dropped the bomb:

“Well… let’s just say… that WGM wanted to make some BIG and different, you know… so they kinda… hmmm… married you two… for real?”

…

…

“WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!”
