EIGHTEEN – Something is not right…

 

 

 

[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

“What really happened… between you and… Sooyoung after we broke up?”

 

Yuri asked with a raised tone, clearly angry with this whole situation. At first, her father was stunned with her outburst, yet he remained composed under her furious glare. Trying to flee of the moment, he calmly folded his newspaper and slowly placed atop the table. He stood up and walked to the window as he answered indifferently:

 

“I don’t know what you are talking about…”

 

The tanned woman rolled her eyes and took a step closer. Her patience was reaching the limit and she didn’t has time to play games. Breathing hard, she scoffed while snapping:

 

“Cut it out, appa! I know you did something to him! TELL ME!”

 

“WATCH YOUR TONE WHEN ARE YOU TALKING TO ME, YOUNG LADY!”

 

Mr. Kwon barked already losing his calmness. However, the girl didn’t even flinch; she was tired of everything and won’t leave without answers. Staring at him seriously, Yuri refrained herself to retaliate Mr. Kwon since well… he is her father after all. More calm, yet decided, she spoke without remove her eyes from him:

 

“Father… I swear that if don’t tell me the REAL TRUTH, I will walk away from that door and you won’t see me ever again!”

 

The middle-man oscillated mentally with her threat, but his daughter should know that he has the last word in this house. So, remained unshaken physically at her words, Yuri stared at him for some seconds and slowly nodded her head with a dry tone:

 

“I see… You will have my resignation letter tomorrow by the morning. I don’t want to live or work on a web of lies. Farewell… appa…”

 

…

 

“I WAS TRYING TO PROTECT YOU!”

 

The tanned manager halted her steps with her father sudden outburst. Rapidly turning around, she didn’t understand the meaning of his words, so she pressed on with an eyebrow raised:

 

“What do you mean… trying to protect me?”

 

The man sighed heavily and dragged himself to the couch while he removed his glasses. After massage his temples, Mr. Kwon started slowly with his head lowered in shame:

 

“I did things that I don’t have proud… but it was the only way, you have to understand me. I did everything for you!”

 

Sensing that something was wrong, Yuri asked carefully: “What did you do… appa?”

 

“That supposed to be a secret; you shouldn’t know… everything happened when I suspected that you and… that Choi were dating secretly…”

 

That time, I realized that you were passing too much time with that Choi. I didn’t like to where this was going, so I send one of my men watch you two to know the truth. As I feared, I discovered that both of you were dating secretly and I couldn’t accept it. Many times I offered money to Choi leave you, but that stubborn kid didn’t give up… Like that day…

 

{FLASHBACK – MR. Kwon P.O.V}

 

I called him to my office for a serious conversation. Since I am a direct man, I offered without doubts:

 

“I will give you 50.000.000 wons to end with this stupid romance with my daughter!”

 

“What?! Are you crazy?! I am not going to do that!”

 

Surprised with his angry voice, I retailed back as I stood up from my chair:

“This is your last chance! If you disobey me, I will fire you! And you won’t get another work in the music or management industry!”

 

But that boy didn’t give up, he glared at me intently and replied into a bitter tone:

 

“You should be shame of yourself… I – I love her… I don’t want your money! Why c-cant you accept us?!”

 

That was it! I couldn’t let a low class boy disrespect me in my office! Furious, I yelled at him for the last time with my hands curled in tight fists:

 

“Foolishness! You don’t suit for my daughter. This is your last chance, break up with her!”

 

“I won’t give up on her. T-that’s my final word! Excuse me, sir…”

 

{END FLASHBACK – NORMAL P.O.V}

 

Mr. Kwon shook his head and burrows his hand in his hair, sighing heavily:

 

“I tried to separate you two pacifically, but he wouldn’t give up on you… so I had to use other ways to end with your relationship with him…”

 

“What did you do, appa?!”

 

A tense Yuri pressed on as she approached of her father slowly. The middle age man hesitated for a moment, it looks like he had a heavy weight in his conscious and now, it was time to be honest. He kept his head lowered as he started weakly:

 

“Remember that night that I called you in my office… and exposed Sooyoung before you? Telling that he a stole secret information from our data to give to our contestants?”

 

This time, Yuri didn’t answer, but placed her hand on her father’s right shoulder to make him turn around. Once the man turn around entirely, he reluctantly raised his head and barely have courage to look into her daughter’s anxious eyes. So, he took a deep breath and dropped the bomb:

 

“H-He… he never did that… I asked one of my men… to plant that fake proof… in his backpack… it was a set up…”

 

“WHAT?!” The young woman widened her eyes and her jaw dropped in shock. She shakes her head unable to believe that her father was able to be so low. Out with her words, she sputtered angrily, finally recovering herself:

 

“H-How H… HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!”

 

“I am your father! I was just trying to protect you! Who knows what that boy could try with you? How can you be sure that he wasn’t using you for your money?! Why couldn’t you simply date someone of your class, Yuri?! WHY?!”

 

That was it! Yuri couldn’t believe in her father careless words. He set up for Sooyoung and she never knew the truth all this time.  Feeling betrayed and frustrated, the young lady exploded against him:

“I – can’t believe that you were able to be so, so low! You shouldn’t intervene in my personal life! All that suitors you sent to me were a bunch of cocky jerks! Sooyoung was different and never used me, not even once! H-He loved me without anything in return, he only wanted my love… and thanks to you I might lost the only person who really loved me!”

 

“But, Yuri, I was trying to—“ “STOP!”

 

Yuri stopped her father’s speech abruptly due her massive anger. She was disgusted with her dad doings and only to look at him, it makes her sick. She frowned angrily at him and cooled down a bit. Slowly, she started to walk away and stopped in her tracks without turn back to him. Carefully, but bitterly she uttered in a constrained fury:

 

“You better pray that I will be able to clear things with him and ask his forgiveness… for have such despicable father!”

 

“Yuri, wait,  I—“

 

“If I don’t have a chance to clear everything with Sooyoung again… I’ll give you my resignation letter… and you’ll never know about me anymore… bye… appa…”

 

Yuri added her final words coldly without look to her father. Afterwards, she marched angrily to the main door, opened hastily and slammed fiercely as she left the Kwon Mansion. Her father tried to stop her, but he fell on his knees and burrowed his face on his hands, whimpering to himself in remorse. In dismay, he asked to one in particular:

 

“What … have I – I done?”

[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

Inside a fancy and large van, TTS was being taken for their next presentation with new looks. The red hair, yes, Tiffany decided to dye her hair again because she missed, plus, she knows how this effects on her dear Jessi in a good way of course. The eye-smiling girl was checking her phone incessantly; her smile would grow and reach her ears whenever a new message would arrive. While she was in her own world, the recent dark haired boy supported his chin with his hand as he looked outside the window. His mind drifted away back to his favorite blonde girl. It was inexplicable, whenever he would remind her, a lovestruck smile would creep in his cheeks, he fell hard for his bunny…

 

How Taeyeon missed her, last time, she left hurriedly and they couldn’t even see each other properly, only by video or phone calls or messages. He looked to his phone and a longing smile crept over at the picture. In the pic, Sunny was pouting resembling a cute puppy while he kissed her chubby cheeks with his eyes closed. The moment was perfect, he could even see the blush and surprise in her face, amazing… His thumb caressed the display tenderly… God, he will get crazy if he don’t see her soon… He thinks as he sighed heavily and placed the phone on his jacket.

 

However, of all three members of TTS, the maknae was the most silent. The latter was looking outside the window with a worried expression as if she was thinking deeply. Her body was present, yet her mind was in somewhere else. Only with a memory, her face was able to get red again with embarrassment. She decided to not say a word after the ‘incident’ with Yoong. Oh God, what the boy will think about her? SeoHyun couldn’t help, but burrows her face in her hands again. While she was into her self-punishment process , a familiar voice broke her train of thoughts:

 

“Thinking about him again, JooHyun?”

 

The maknae widened her eyes when the TTS’s leader stared at her intently, meanwhile Tiffany snapped from her JessiLand and looked behind as well. She raised her eyebrows in curiosity as she asked nonchalantly:

 

“Oh yeah… aren’t you gonna tell me…” Suddenly her expression turned dark and mischievous as she asked teasingly:

“Like… How did you get this big love bite on your neck!?”

 

“UNNIE!” The shy maknae’s eyes almost popped out from the sockets as she shrieked due Tiffany’s ‘innocent’ remark. The younger girl frenetically adjusted her scarf around her neck and even placed her long hair to cover the hickey, just to make sure that the ‘evidence’ wasn’t in sight. Her embarrassment was priceless and Tiffany had a good time laughing and clapping her hands in delight due the cute scene. However, she whispered playfully while elbowing the maknae:

 

“And I always thought that you were the shy and polite girl type… tsk, you surprised me, JooHyun… tsk tsk tsk… bad girl hahahaha!”

 

“YA, UNNIE! I am not a bad girl!” The maknae desperately tried to defend herself, yet failed miserably due her nervousness. However, pitying the brunette, the leader shook his head and replied softly:

 

“Hey, Pani-ah, don’t , it’s obvious that she already is having a bad time.”

 

“You are right, Tae… I’m sorry, JooHyun. I think I just got carried away. It’s just I – I never saw you like this for a boy. You are so serious and mature all the time that I couldn’t imagine you well… like this…”

 

The red haired girl spoke sincerely while placing her hand on Seohyun’s shoulder, as sign that she mean it and apologized. Nonetheless, Taeyeon raised his eyebrows and asked carefully to not startle the girl:

 

“SeoHyun… we are not here to judge your actions… but we can see that you kicking yourself since your… sobriety… if you want to tell something… we will listen and help in any way we can, okay?”

 

It seems Tae’s honest words and his touch on her shoulder calmed her a bit as she nodded while hugging her Keroro doll. Meanwhile, a worried Tiffany squeezed her hand and spoke carefully:

 

“And… you never told us what really happened on that night. Don’t worry, JooHyunnie, you know you can trust us. We are a family, right? Please, let us help you.”

 

Seeing the truthfulness in her comrades’ eyes, SeoHyun knew that she could tell them anything, even her deepest secrets. Breathing heavily, she raised her head and spoke softly with an uneven tone:

 

“All I can remember was that we were talking on the porch…”

 

{FLASHBACK}

 

The maknae’s eyes fluttered open slowly as her vision adjusted to the light inside the room. As soon she woke up, she was greeted by a piercing headache. This is funny; she doesn’t remember a thing about the last night, why should she be feeling this ache? Odd… However, she held her head and the ache subsided a little. Once she looked around, she saw Tae oppa lying on the couch with a frown as he repeatedly muttered or whined cutely:

 

“Bunny, Bunny… I love bunnies…”

 

The scene would be cute if her head wasn’t bothering her now, yet … something caught her attention. Why her oppa was in her room? It seems like he slept while taking care of her, probably watching over, but what did really happen? Shaking her thoughts away, SeoHyun drowsily dragged herself to the bathroom to freshen herself up. She stood in front of the sink and opened the faucet. After she washed her face, she reached the towel to dry her skin carefully…

 

Nonetheless, when she lowered the towel, she stole a glance of her reflection in the mirror. She was about to turn around normally, yet she froze in her shoes when she turned around again and finally took a good look in herself. Instantaneously, her eyes widened to the max, her jaw dropped and her cheeks were red. Her shock was caused due a different look in her face and neck…

 

Her lips were chapped and swollen, her neck was filled with lovemarks, specially a big one where the jaw meets the neck. The maknae finds herself trembling in nervousness and then, the bomb finally dropped when flashes of the last night came to her mind like a slap. SeoHyun couldn’t remind very clearly for now, but it some flashes… she was sure that she recalled the passionate and hot kiss that she shared with Yoong. But why this happened?! She only remembered of drinking a strawberry juice with oppa. After that, puzzles in her mind were trying to create a memory…

 

Still, her brain brought the most stunning view, right when she and Yoong were exchanging very intimate kisses. It was when she finally becomes despaired, hyperventilate and…:

 

“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~~~”

 

And everything turned to black as she fainted…

 

[END FLASHBACK]

 

Only with the thought, SeoHyun hyperventilated again with widened eyes and fanned herself quickly. She cupped her red cheeks and kept whimpering to herself:

“Oh my God! What did I do?! What Yoong oppa will think of me?!”

 

“Oh… so that was happened on my Birthday night?! JooHyunnie! How could you not telling me such important detail?! Wow, I didn’t know that you could do… that!”

 

Tiffany said into a surprised, yet sly tone. The poor maknae quickly raised her head and snapped back in despair to her defense:

“I didn’t know what happened! I – I am not that kind of girl, unnie!”

 

Seeing that the girl was into a fragile state, Tiffany frowned in regret for her own words. So, she stood up from her seat and sat beside Seohyun while rubbing her back in comfort. It was when she said softly:

“I am sorry, JooHyunnie. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just I am really surprised, because you always have this boy-hate problem…”

 

Their conversation briefly halted when they arrived in their destination, it seems that TTS would have an appearance on a variety show as they went to the back stage’s door. 30 minutes before their number, Taeyeon used this chance to approach from the hyperventilated girl. He placed his hand on her shoulder, surprising his female comrades as he spoke carefully:

 

“SeoHyun… can I ask you something? Promise that you will tell me truth, okay?”

 

“O-of course, oppa.” The shy maknae replied and the kid leader asked seriously:

 

“Do you really like that boy?”

 

The maknae froze with his answer and automatically, her heart doubled the pace. What is happening? Her face was red and on fire… is this a signal that she… might have feelings for… Yoong oppa? She couldn’t tell since she was so naïve with love subject. Well, she had a first love on her former school a few years ago… but now… she feels so different and intense with that deer boy. Of course, he makes her feels something so strong in her chest, but she is unsure and afraid of another heartbreak.

 

The younger girl placed her tremble hand on her ragging heart and asked in her mind:

“Do I … really… like him?”

 

Again, a warm feeling spread in her whole body, this isn’t normal. Only to think in his jokes, wide smile and tender eyes was enough to make her body melt. Already stuttering, the girl started weakly:

 

“I – I …”

 

However, to her shock, all of sudden, a familiar pair came behind the trio and a nervous boy asked shyly, startling TTS:

 

“Hyunnie? C-can I talk with you?”

 

“What do you want to talk with her, alligator boy?!”

 

Taeyeon’s protector aura kicked in as soon he saw Yoong, the latter become more nervous when the recent brown haired guy was glaring at him intently. However, a familiar danshin asked gingerly with a cute pout:

 

“When we discovered that you guys would be here, we came right away. Taengoo, don’t be like that. We already talked about this. Yoong really wants talk with SeoHyun.”

 

Tiffany nodded in agreement with Sunny’s petition. Seeing such adorable and cute eyes, the danshin leader was unable to say no. So he sighed heavily and warned carefully:

 

“Okay, kids… but I am watching you, alligator boy!”

 

To prove his point Taeyeon gestured like this. 

 

Yoong gulped loudly at his gesture, but nodded in acceptance. However, he looked to the shy maknae and spoke softly while staring down at her:

 

“Shall we?” The girl nodded and the deer boy let her go first like a gentleman. Once they arrived into a most reserved place in the backstage, the couple didn’t speak a word. The silence engulfed them as they were pondering about what they should talk. Their cheeks were pink of embarrassment as all of a sudden:

 

“I’M SORRY!” “Huh?” “What?”

 

The pair asked in surprise since both of them blurted the same sentence. It was when they finally looked up at the other shy eyes. Staring her tenderly, Yoong asked softly;

 

“Hyunnie… why are you sorry? I am the only one who should be apologizing here.”

 

“How can you say that, oppa?! What would you think about me? Oh, God…”

 

“But, if it wasn’t me, we wouldn’t get drunk and… yeah, you remember… I really didn’t have any idea that punch was with alcohol. If I knew, I wouldn’t ever give to you… Now… I must be looking a bad person for you now…” Yoong added sadly, still blaming himself.

 

“Of course not, oppa! You didn’t know and the drink consumed me… B-but I swear that I am not this kind of girl!”

 

SeoHyun added sincerely as a surprised Yoong asked confusedly:

 

“But… what kind of girl you mean?” The maknae shyly fidget her fingers with a knot in . Only to remember about how she acted on that night, this was enough to make her more embarrassed. Suddenly, she shook her head, unable to say a word,. Nonetheless, to her surprise, Yoong gently grabbed her hands which caught her attention. When their eyes met, he smiled bashfully and spoke with all sincerity :

 

“Listen… SeoHyun… I don’t know what its passing by this cute head… but you should know that what happen that night doesn’t change what I see in you…”

 

“What? Y-you don’t?” The maknae blinked a few times in dazzle as the boy shook his head, still smiling warmly. Gathering more courage, he brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear as he replied timidly:

 

“Of course not, silly… You see… I am your fan since you debuted… Your personality and attitude never failed to amuse me. I know you are a polite, shy, reserved and a unique girl… when I saw this… I felt drawn to you, we are so different, yet we match so well. Slowly, I realized that I was falling for you… but, it’s a silly dream because I thought I couldn’t ever reach you…”

 

Suddenly, his expression turned to serious as he cupped her cheek with the most care. SeoHyun felt her heart hammering loudly in her chest with his moves, she never felt that way before… and it was amazing. The deer boy looked deeply into her eyes and uttered:

 

“But now that I met you… and you know my feelings… I don’t think I can forget a thing. Honestly… I don’t want to forget or even stay away from you… yet… if you don’t want see me after what happened… I will understand…”

 

They stared each other intently and when only the silence surrounded them, Yoong felt an heartache. Yet, deciding to let go, he let his grip loose in her face as he was about  to turn away and leave. However, to his shock, he felt a strong grip in his arm, making him turn around. Once he looked to his side, he saw a sad SeoHyun, staring at him, almost begging with her eyes. She her lips nervously and asked hesitantly due her shyness:

 

“Oppa…. I – I … I don’t want … don’t go. Although everything happened into a crazy way… we can always start again. And take things slow, right?”

 

His heart swoon with such adorable and sincere request, she really meant every word. Unable to hold himself, he held her by her shoulders gingerly and smiled widely:

“Of course! By the way… I am Im Yoong.”

 

The maknae giggled at his action at his signature alligator laughter. So she copied his motion, extending her hand and speaking politely:

“I am Seo JooHyun. Nice to meet you…. Yoong oppa”

 

They shook their hands as if they were get know each other at that moment. However, the couple exchanged a tender stare and didn’t resist as they thought in the same thing. All of sudden, they pulled the other for a loving embrace, just enjoying the other’s warmth. A happy smile crept in their cheeks as SeoHyun placed her head in his right shoulder and Yoong cupped her head gingerly, gently cradling her in his arms. The loving aura was pouring out around them. The scene was really romantic and cute until…

 

“Awwwwwwwwwwwww… they are so cute!”

 

Tiffany shirked happily, dying of the couple cuteness. Sunny did the same action as she added with her tone filled with aegyo:

 

“Awwwwwwwwww… I could pinch their cheeks with such cuteness!”

 

The maknae couple quickly withdrew from the hug when they realized their small public, staring at them intently. Their faces were red as they looked down bashfully. Still, they managed to hold the other’s hand like if it was a magnetic. However, SunFany looked to a nonchalant TaeYeon, waiting for his approval. The danshin leader feeling the pressure of the duo intense stare; he raised his hands in defeat and added with his usual kid tone:

 

“Okay Okay, you guys won. They are cute together, I admit it…”

 

Sunny and Tiffany made a high five in happiness while the shy couple smiled tenderly to each other. Nonetheless, Taeyeon couldn’t help to add like a serious father:

 

“You two have my blessing… you better make SeoHyun happy.”

 

“I will, hyung. I will take care of her, I promise.”

 

With his honest words, Taeyeon smiled in agreement and nodded his head. All of a sudden, one person of the staff called TTS for their number. The group was getting ready to go when the kid leader added seriously:

 

“But if you break her heart, I swear I will cut you in pieces and throw you to the alligator’s tank!”

 

A crashing silence engulfed them as Yoong stared at Taeyeon with eyes widened in shock. All of sudden, Sunny shook her head in defeat and blurted:

 

“Taengooo!!!”

 

The danshin girl held his arm gently and placed a warm kiss in his cheek, melting him at the same moment. All of sudden, he laughed like an ajhussi and waved his hand nonchalantly:

 

“I am just kidding, kids. Now… can I get another kiss, bunny? I must be energetic for the show!” Laughing at his usual byun expression, Sunny couldn’t help, but peck his lips gently. The kiss ended briefly, but it was able to make the poor leader completely dazzled and smiling like a lovestruck to his dear bunny. He turned to his comrades and spoke into a drowsy tone, filled with love:

“Okay girls, now is TTS!”

[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

At the same moment, inside a luxurious office at the SM’s building, the director was working on his computer. However, all of a sudden, an icon blinked in his screen, showing that he had a new message. Since he was waiting for this e-mail, he hurriedly clicked on the link where the message’s title was “Date proofs”. Inside the e-mail there was a message:

 

“I hope you think my work satisfactory, Mr. You won’t regret it, the photos are pretty revealing. And don’t worry, the lovebirds didn’t even know about these pictures. I’ll be waiting my payment on this afternoon. K.”

 

The middle aged man anxiously clicked on the attachments and widened his eyes with the result. The paparazzi wasn’t kidding at all, all the pictures showed clear signs of affection of his star a.k.a Tiffany Hwang… and the Choi’s boy, Jung Jesse?! The man slammed his hand on the table as a signal of disaffection and anger. It was when he snarled angrily, still looking at the pictures:

 

“I can’t believe this! She dared to disobey me and the contract for this low recruit?!”

 

However, something clicked on his mind… there was a way to revert this situation. Suddenly, a sly smile crept in his cheeks as he rubbed his beard in deep thought. Nonetheless, he snapped from his train of thoughts when he heard a loud slam on his door followed by a loud cry:

 

“Hey dad, why did you call me here?! Aren’t you going to help me?!”

 

“Sir, I tried to stop him, but ---“ His secretary came along while explaining helplessly as a playboy seated on the office’s couch. The man only waved his hand in dismiss to his secretary as he added hurriedly:

“Okay, okay. Now, close the door while I talk with him, Anna.”

 

“Oh… yes, sir. Excuse me.” The surprised lady nodded and closed the door, leaving pair for behind. The boy was with his feet a top the table with a lazy aspect as he blurted into an annoyed tone:

 

“Come on, appa! You didn’t call me here for nothing! I need help to rebuild my career… thanks to that scum, I LOST EVERYTHING! When I put my hands on him, I will--!”

 

“Wooyoung! How many times I told you to take your dirty feet of my table?! This isn’t how I raised you?!”

 

“Ya, dad! Instead of nagging, you should be helping me with my publicity problem! I want to make them pay!”

 

Mr. Jang rolled his eyes and walked back to his desk as he snapped to his lazy son:

 

“Aish, stop whining! I didn’t call you here for nothing! And about that, who said that I wouldn’t help you?! Now, come here, I want you see something that I discovered…”

 

Wooyoung sighed heavily and stood up as he walked to his father’s desk. Once his dad clicked on button, many photos were splattered on the screen. When he finally realized who were the persons, his blood boiled furiously. If it wasn’t enough of Jesse stole his publicity, now he stole his girl as well?! He gritted his teeth and slammed the table in rage as he snapped angrily:

“Damn him!!! He is making out with MY GIRL?! I will kill that b@st@rd!”

 

Before the angry pop star could storm out the office, his dad held his arm and replied loudly:

“Wait, Wooyoung!” “Let me go, dad! I will kill him!”

 

“Stop this foolishness! You are not being smart! I already have a plan to get your revenge and say goodbye to this stupid recruit!”

 

All of a sudden, the boy halted his outburst momentarily at his father’s words and stared at him seriously. Curious, he asked slowly:

“And… what are you thinking… appa?”

 

Mr. Jang smiled slyly rubbed his beard and added mischievously:

 

“Sit down while I tell you plan… First, I will do this and…”

 

After the middle age man told his whole plan to his son, both of them were laughing like maniacs. It seems that the lovebirds happy days were close to end…

[JESSE P.O.V]

 

On the next day, by the morning, I was in Soo hyung’s car with Sunny and Yoong as we went to the Agency’s building for our choreography training. Ever since yesterday, I noticed that hyung wasn’t so lively anymore, I still remember when I entered in his car on the last night and I swear I saw his eyes slightly red and puffy. However, Yuri noona’s situation wasn’t different; why was she so anxious and despaired to talk with him? It seems that they have an ugly fight, but no one wants talk with each other. Aish, adults…

 

I was worried with him, still, I don’t like to meddle at the others problems. If he wants to talk, I’ll listen or else, I’ll wait until he wants to speak about what happened. Nonetheless, I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn’t even realize that we already were in front of Choi’s Agency. We walked in silence, well; more to my side when I glanced Sunny and Yoong, hmm why were they whispering? Yoong wasn’t making pranks on me along with SunKyu, I am starting to get worried. These two are hiding something and must be very serious because Yoong looked so worried lately…

 

Anyway, I will ask them later. Just when we were about to reach the training room, my phone buzzed, indicating me that I just received a message. Hurriedly, I got my phone on my pocket and pressed the button to read the content. As soon I read the news, my eyes almost popped out from my skull. It seems I got a message from “Dancing with the Stars”; they said that since Hara and the jerk Wooyoung were disqualified… they wanted to make me and Tiffany---

 

*BRRRR BRRRR*

 

All of a sudden, my phone vibrated in my hand, I was in such a rush that I just pressed the ‘Talk’ button without see the ID caller. When I was about to speak, a familiar deafening sound followed by a shriek pierced on my ears just like this:

 

“JESSIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~~~~~~~~~~~~”

 

It was her… Even when I almost lost my eardrums, I couldn’t help to smile like a dumb when I heard her happy voice. Recovering myself, I asked into a soft tone:

“Hey, you, lady. What happened? Besides the fact that my eardrums almost exploded. *Chuckles* You look very happy*”

 

“BECAUSE I AM HAPPY~~Oh, sorry for my voice, Jessie~~~ I didn’t want to hurt your lovable ears~~~~”

 

This enthusiastic girl added the last part with a low tone, she was afraid to hurt me, Jessi. However, I felt my heart ache since even I couldn’t see her, I was sure that she was pouting right now. Not wanting rain in her parade, I replied tenderly:

 

“Don’t worry, Fany-ah. You don’t have to be sad or pout okay? It’s just I am surprised with your sudden outburst. Now, tell me… what’s going on?”

 

“Did you see the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ message?!”

 

Again, a chuckle escaped from my lips, it seems she got the same message. With a wide smile, I added into a content tone:

 

“It looks like we are going to be partners… again.”

 

“Yes! Awww Jessie~~ I can’t believe we are going to be in two shows together! When I saw the message, I couldn’t believe it! This is amazing and needs a commemoration!”

 

Nonetheless, a sudden silence surrounds us and I kinda realized that her expression changed, even when I couldn’t see her. This silence means only one thing… oh uh… PredatorFany?! Nah, it was just a phase, she was trying to seduce me that time and… nope… I guess I was wrong. Just while I was in my train of memories of her giving me the first love bite and how her plump lips slid on my neck, this makes me want to get h—

 

“Jessie…?” “Y-Yeah?”

 

Damn! Why am I stuttering? Aish, this girl is messing with my hormones with her husky and y voice! I bet she was planning something not very ‘innocent’… Yet, she continued with her deadly and hot tone:

 

“I was wondering if we could meet each tonight by 7 PM? You can come to my dormitory and we can make a private dinner… what do you think?”

 

Oh God… I must resist to the temptation! Arghhh why this temptation must be hard and… seductively?! Even far from her, I can feel the shiver on my spine like if she was whispering in my ear, aish this girl! I barely recovered my conscious as I replied dumbly:

 

“I – I – I, well I *gulp*”

 

“Aww shoot, I’m sorry, Jessie, but one of SM’s director sent me a message telling that I must go to an urgent reunion…”

 

Although I sighed in relief, I was disappointed as well since I couldn’t lie, I wanted see her, but our schedules have been so tight these days. I heard her breathing heavily in dismay, it seems she was texting him back, so I waited. All of sudden, she replied into an annoyed tone:

 

“I told him to wait, this is more important. So, Jessie… I – I miss you~~~ I really want to see you again *BEEP BEEP* AISHHH!”

 

Once again her phone beeped and I heard her grumbling, yes, she was really annoyed. Oh God, I must admit that this guy was being a pain in the , but work is work. Again, I heard her not-so-lively voice anymore as she spoke sadly:

 

“Jessie, it seems I’ll have to go to a meeting with the director on this afternoon on a restaurant and I don’t know when it will going to end… Arghhh I don’t want to go…”

 

I swear that I when I heard her sad tone, I almost ran to wherever she was to hug her tightly, saying that I was there. Yet, I only could comfort her by phone. My smile also fell down; it seems this girl already placed her spell on me. Trying my best to sooth her, I started softly:

 

“I understand, Fany, but think on this way, as soon you solve this, you are going to be free again… and we can see each other wherever you want, okay?”

 

“Really?!” I chuckled again as her hyper tone returned, I am sure that she was smiling now, this was enough to make my heart sway while imaging her bright eye-smile. However, I answered with a ‘yes’, so she added quickly in excitement:

 

“Great! We can go to the new café in the town and then to the movies, you know… its dark and no one will see us *thee-hee-hee*. I will encounter each other tonight at 7 PM at Brown Café! Then we can go to my dormitory later…”

 

Before I could even answer, she spoke with a huff and spoke hurriedly again:

 

“Aish, the director is sending me another message! Gosh! He doesn’t give up! Okay, tonight at 7 PM in Brown Café! I will wait for you! Kisses *Muahhhhh!* Love you, Jessie! Bye Bye!”

 

I only had time to reply ‘Love you too’ before she hanged up. I still was dumbfounded with the whole situation. However, unconsciously a smitten smile crept in my cheeks, whenever I heard her words… I knew she was being sincere and this warms my heart. My face already got hot, I bet this is Fany-effect, she always makes me lose my composure… I guess I fell hard for this girl… Yet, I couldn’t help to frown when I remembered her talking about this director…

 

I know she has her commitments with SM, manager, public, fans and everything, but this was so unusual… I hope it’s nothing serious. I was deep in my thoughts when my comrades called me start the training, yet I pass all the moment with Tiffany Hwang in my mind… What it’s happening? Maybe I am thinking too much… or not?
