I sit here once again at this desk

Tick tock tick tock

I'm learning things I'll never use again in life

Tick tock tick tock

I'm wishing for the bell to ring

Tick Tock Tick Tock

I sit here once again at this desk

Tick tock tick tock

I'm getting minimum wage for this job

Tick tock tick tock

I'm wishing for my shift to finish

I sit here once again at this desk

Tick tock tick tock

I'm teaching things I've learned before

Tick tock tick tock

I'm wishing for my child's well being

Tick tock tick tock

I lay down once again on this bed

Tick tock tick tock

I'm old, still breathing but in pain

Tick tock tick tock

I'm wishing death would just take me

Tick tock tick tock
