Pray for Ferguson

Random Poems

While we're here laying peacfully in our beds,
The media tells us not to worry our pretty little heads.
The things happening in Ferguson are being ignored by many people here.
Did the media think that is was so easy to make things disappear?

We all know racism is alive and well.
But what's happening in Ferguson is what you couldn't tell.
As teenagers we're being told we don't know what's even going on.
Yes we're teens, we are young, at least we know what is right and wrong.

Don't let them get into our heads and say we can't do anything.
We're the new generation, let's all show them what we can bring.
It's so unfortunate that history has repeated itself yet again.
It seems like I'm getting more and more frustraghted with the world as I write my thoughts on paper and pen.

To all you ignorant people, just please be quiet ans take your seats.
"We all bleed red, but whose blood is it on the streets?"
