She Stole Something From Me

She stole something from me that cannot be returned

It is something that has to be earned
 
I just can't love her this way
 
The reason is because I am gay
 
My parents think this is a sin
 
This is the way it's always been
 
Due to my parents I'm forced to do this
 
That one faithful day it was sealed with a kiss
 
She is not someone I hate
 
She is any man's ideal date
 
She is a beautiful lady
 
She is not shady
 
I've known her for far too long
 
But what this is, is all so wrong
 
She is my best friend from so many years ago
 
This is all crazy, I know
 
What she stole, her you cannot blame
 
For what she stole, was my last name.
