Mrs. Shim was reading the newspaper on the couch comfortably, when she suddenly could hear a sound of door being opened. Since she knew that it wasn’t coming from Changmin’s room, Mrs. Shim’s quickly turning her head towards the source to look at Jieun’s figure there. Jieun was standing still right in front of the door, seemed quiet nervous with Mrs. Shim’s appearance in front of her.

“Good morning, Ahjumma. Did I disturb you?” said Jieun with a soft smile, while bowing towards Mrs. Shim respectfully.

Mrs. Shim chuckled for a second; a smile was plastering clearly on her face. “That’s fine... Jieun- am I right?” Mrs. Shim said before getting a nod as the answer right away, “Take a seat and let’s have a talk for now, okay? Since Changmin’s still sleeping inside his room.”

Jieun seemed a bit startled and shook her head immediately. “There’s no need for that, Ahjumma. I can clean the other rooms up first before his later,” said her.

“You shouldn’t come here only for that, Jieun. How about you wake Changmin up and go out to somewhere? You two should go for a date on a good day like today.” said Mrs. Shim with a pout, thinking that she should make Jieun and Changmin together.

“Eh? Da- Date? I’m not his girlfriend, Ahjumma,” Jieun answered hesitantly, before lowering her head to hide her blushing cheeks, “Besides, he’s also going to need more time in the morning, because of some nightmares- or something like that.”

Mrs. Shim’s raising her eyebrows in confuse, didn’t understand about what Jieun told her. “Nightmares? What nightmares?” asked her curiously.

“Well, Changmin-Oppa didn’t tell me in details. He just asked me to leave him alone in the morning before he’s getting out by himself. Changmin-Oppa told me that he has to deal with the nightmares. After that, usually his room would be in a mess like yesterday,” answered Jieun honestly.

Mrs. Shim just snorted, upon hearing Jieun’s description about the nightmare.

She knew it clearly, that Changmin was having this habit to throw his frustration out like that. He used to make a mess inside his room occasionally; making everyone got startled because of that. The fact that Changmin was doing the habit regularly in Korea, made she thought that there must be something which bothering Changmin’s mind now.

She knew it exactly, what it could be.

“It was because of he met with that ungrateful kid, right?” Mrs. Shim said; a dislike expression showed clearly on her face, “I don’t understand why he likes him that much, after everything happened. It’s disgusting, right? For a man to love another man.”

Jieun just gave Mrs. Shim a soft smile; didn’t really know how to answer since she was opposing against it- but still couldn’t just say those towards Mrs. Shim.

“You’re such a nice and kind woman. I think you’ll match very well with him,” Mrs. Shim trailed off with her words, thinking about an idea inside her mind, “Do you want to move out from Korea too? I want you to stay with him. I think that will be the best choice.”

Jieun was widening her eyes in silence, didn’t expect that kind of offer from Mrs. Shim.

“Oh, come on Jieun,” Mrs. Shim said again, this time while rolling her eyes, “I can see that you like my son so much, right? Then why don’t you stay with him even after we’re not here anymore? He’ll like you eventually, as the time passed.”

“I wonder why you always try to match me with every woman you saw, Umma.”

Mrs. Shim and Jieun were immediately turning their head in surprise towards the voice, when they heard Changmin’s voice all of sudden. It seemed that Changmin was intentionally walking quietly, so that he could eavesdrop to the conversation between Mrs. Shim and Jieun.

“Since you’re awake, why don’t you go out with Jieun now?” asked Mrs. Shim, trying as calm as she could. There’s no way Mrs. Shim would let Changmin saw her weak side.

“I’ve told you that I’m not going to be into any relationship yet, Umma,” replied Changmin, deciding to not just let the conversation down like that.

Mrs. Shim sighed in depression, couldn’t get what Changmin’s thinking at all. “Changmin, listen to umma, okay?” she said, trying to explain with her best, “You’re young, handsome, smart, and rich. Even with your disability, there’re still lots of women wanted to be with you. It’s time for you to fall in love again; to live well without him.”

“Don’t bring him out to our conversation, Umma. He has nothing to do with this. And- Can’t you just wait until I get the feeling naturally again?” answered Changmin.

“It’s because you’re still in love with him, right?” asked Mrs. Shim, more likely to just state it.

Changmin just remained in silence, couldn’t answer Mrs. Shim’s question at all. He knew that it was perfectly true, yet he also knew that Mrs. Shim would hate Jaejoong more because of his answer. He didn’t want it to happen, not anymore.

“It’s time for you to let him go, for your own good,” said Mrs. Shim again. She was trying to approach Changmin softly now; hoping that it could soften Changmin’s heart easier. “That kid already has your bestfriend as his lover now, leaving you in the past.”

It was you... Everything was because of you, Umma. If only you didn’t try to separate us, Jaejoong wouldn’t run towards the road- and the accident wouldn’t happen at that time, thought Changmin.

“Since you’re going to need someone to get over him, why don’t you take Jieun with you? You should give her a chance first. She is a good woman for you, Changmin,” said Mrs. Shim again, trying to ensure Changmin about Jieun.

“I don’t need anyone,” Changmin answered while shaking his head, “I can’t just let anyone going through the same pain with me, Umma.”

“But you-”

“I’m going out for now,” said Changmin, cutting Mrs. Shim’s words immediately.

“Where are you going?” asked Mrs. Shim in hurry.

Changmin remained in silence for a second, as if thinking deeply about what he should answer. He knew that Mrs. Shim would be mad after hearing Changmin’s honest answer. However, he also knew that his umma was actually having a good sense. Because of that, Changmin finally gave up and sighed in defeat before answering the question.

“To meet an angel,” answered Changmin nonchalantly.

“Just for the last time. I’ll still go with you to Canberra in the end; so don’t worry about it,” continued Changmin right away; didn’t want to give Mrs. Shim a chance to cut his words.

“You won’t go anywhere,” ordered Mrs. Shim.

“See you later, Jieun. Thank you for cleaning up the mess I made,” said Changmin again, wasn’t caring with Mrs. Shim’s words at all.

Changmin’s smiling in victory as he left Mrs. Shim with Jieun inside his apartment to meet his angel. He knew that Mrs. Shim wouldn’t do anything bad towards him or Jaejoong for now. The most important thing for Mrs. Shim right now was probably Changmin’s coming back with her to Canberra, and Changmin was ensuring her already about it.
