The walk back to Dujun's house was beyond awkward.

 

Jae Mi rested her head on Kikwang's shoulder as he carried her.

 

Her ankle pulsed and it felt like it was burning.

 

She felt her head being to ache was the unending raindrops fell in large sheets.

 

Finally they were at the Yoon's front door.

 

Jae MI felt Kiikwang's arm muscles felt as he adjusted her to ring the doorbell.

 

Unconsiosly she blushed.

 

Dujun answered the door and his eyes widened at the sight before him.

 

"Y-Yah, what happened to you two?!" He exclaimed his voice filled with concern and....anger?

 

"I found Jae Mi like this, she fell while walking." Kikwang replied.

 

"Come in before both of you freeze."

 

Kikwang gently put you down on the livingroom couch while Dujun went for the first aid kid.

 

When he came back he began to medicate Jae Mi's ankle.

 

She winced as the ointment stung badly, then she felt lightheaded and leaned back onto the sofa.

 

"Okay done." Dujun announced.

 

Kikwang wrapped a blanket around Jae Mi's shoulders.

 

"I think you should go get changed into some dry clothes." He suggested.

 

Jae Mi nodded in agreement and started to get up.

 

Dujun put an arm around her to support her weight on her one good foot.

 

"Kikwang, you can borrow some of my clothes." He said over his shoulder.

 

"Thanks."

 

Once Kikwang and Jae Mi had dry clothes on they all sat in Jae's room on her bed.

 

"So, why were you out anyway?" Dujun asked.

 

"Oh, well I was out because I needed to buy some stuff.

 

When I was walking back i fell on these wooden stairs and Kikwang happened to be there so he helped me out."

 

Jae Mi explained.

 

Dujun's jaw tightened a bit at hearing this. Why couldn't I have been the one to help her?

 

"Well, it looks like th rain's letting up a bit. I think I'll be going home now." Kikwang said getting up and stretching.

 

Jae Mi noticed how defined his back and shoulder muscles were in his shirt.

 

Yah Jae Mi!  she said to herself to snap out of her trance.

 

"Oh well bye, then I'll see you at school?"

 

He gave her an eye smile. "I'll call you sometime then?"

 

"Uhm...o-okay...do you have my number?" she inquired.

 

Kikwang rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Yeah, I got it off of Yoseob."

 

Jae Mi sighed but inwardly smiled. 

 

At least Kikwang wanted to talk to her outside of school!

 

"Oh, I met your older brother today," she said,

 

"Jinja?!" both Dujun and Kikwang said

 

"Neh, he's really nice, I saw him at the music store when I went in for a bit."

 

Kikwang smiled. "I haven't heard from him in a while..." His smile seemed to have a note of sadness in his eyes.

 

Dujun put a hand on his shoulder.

 

"It must be almost a year now right?"

 

Jae Mi was lost. What had happened with Joon and Kikwang.

 

"Oh, Joon moved out of our house a while ago, to open the shop."

 

Kikwang explained noting Jae Mi's puzzled expression.

 

"Ah, I see." she said.

 

"Well...I'll see you around then."

 

When Kikwang left Dujun gave you an odd look.

 

"Mwoh."

 

"Why were you out all by yourself? You could have asked me for a ride to the store, that way you wouldn't have gotten hurt."

 

"It's not your fault! I was the one that should have been more careful, besides...I didn't want to bother you..."

 

Jae MI replied trailing off under his strong gaze.

 

He sighed and he put and arm around Jae's shoulders, pulling her into his side.

 

"Mian...I guess I'm just overprotective when it comes to you.

 

You were gone for so long....and I don't want anything to happen to you again.."

 

Again?! What did he mean by that?

 

"You really are like an Appa," she remarked.

 

Dujun frowned at her slightly "If anything, it's oppa to you miss!"

 

Jae Mi giggled "arasso, Dujun Oppa,"

 

Dujun felt something loosen in his chest. 

 

Why was he so happy at Jae Mi calling him "oppa'?

 

Jae Mi didn't mind that fact that Dujun cared so much about little things like this,

 

it showed her that he thought of her as an important person in his life.

 

And being thought of was so precious to her, because Jae Mi felt that most of the time people in generel,

 

and especially her parents didn't care that much about her opinions and what she had to say or offer to others.

 

Jae Mi sneezed.

 

"Aigoo, you better take some medicine before you really get sick." Dujun suggested.

 

"Gwenchaniyo~" Jae Mi said. Honestly she hated the taste of medicine.

 

"Arasso, why don't you take a nap, I'll ask my mom to make you something."

 

He said getting up and walking to the doorway.

 

She smiled "Thanks Oppa."

 

He shut the door and slowly as Jae Mi drifted off to sleep.
