The cool airy wind leisurely caressing her creamy soft skin,whistlening  music in her ear,playing with the black loosen tendrils ,fingers busy fidgeting,tooking a slow and small strides  she couldn’t help but to steal quick glance over the boy walking beside her with his hands tucked in his pant pockets ears plugged in by a black head phone.A small joyous ,frisson,giddy chuckle escaped her strawberry coloured lips,the boy inturn raised his eyebrows at her which she replied by shaking her head saying “nothing”

 

 

 

She Couldn’t  believe walking school could be so much exciting well it wasn’t before ;but with this boy in the picture it has.Soon they reached their classroom shinhye sat with her friend while yonghwa eased himself at the exreme back bench, shinhye had fought several times to sit with him but he didn’t want her to ditch her friend and besides it gave him space to be at solitude and peace which he cannot get having  shinhye around

 

Only four months had passed since he enrolled in this school as he was slung out of his previous school for not paying the fee .Shinhye had  pestered him more like threatened him to take the scholarship exam that her school is leading thankfully he passed and ended up being her classmate.

As usual shinhye was in yonghwa’s home humming some lovely tune with her legs crossed sitting on his bed copying some notes.Yonghwa was outside doing some errands which his mother gave him.With her left hand resting on her knee holding his note book she fliiped through the page as she done that a paper slipped out of it, picking it up she saw it wasn’t a paper but a picture indeed, a girl’s click.

As she kept staring at the picture, contemplating who she might be,a lump formed in ,eyes stinging,a bulk of burden felt in her heart, electricity shot through her spine out of fear giving her a chicken skin.she didn’t like it .this feeling, this fear,not at all ,not a bit.Pressing her lips together she tried to gulp the lump formed in .The girl squeezed her eyes tightly as lower lips trembled and a stream of tear escaped through her brown eyes.

“yonghwa doesn’t love her”

Night was cold and chilly,as always yonghwa was walking shinhye home with his hand tucked in his pant pocket,he noticed shinhye was extremely quite today ,back in his home she was seem distracted and upset and through out the walk she didn’t utterd or glanced at him even once,”what’s with her expressionless and blank expression”he thought.she isn’t the funny, cheerful, trouble maker ,crazy shinhye he knows.”weird!, what’s wrong with her”.

“shinhye ah! What’s…….

He was cut off by shinhye’s

“good night yonghwa ah!”said with the same expressionless face and stalled inside her house without giving him a glance

He stood there motionless seeing her figure disappear behind the door

“shinhye ah! What’s wrong”

The next day shinhye avoided yonghwa,she took bus instead of walking with him to school.she knows she is being ludicrously childish,but she can’t help it.she is mad,jealous,hurt.. though she had this slightest idea that he have another girl in his heart,but still she kept falling deeper and deeper for him, but now when it is laid infront of her eyes; she didn’t expect it to hurt her this bad and right now avoiding yonghwa is the best option  until her feelings are settled and ready to face the truth coming in near future.

 

 

The girl was standing at the doorway when her eyes met yonghwa’s, quickly toring her eyes away from his she marched toward her seat.Through out  classes she can feel his eyes on her and that time she’d only wished to disappear in the thin air

 

 

 

Shinhye took and exhaled a long breath as she skipped toward the gate,she purposely stayed in the class little longer to avoid yonghwa,as she was walking she looked up to see yonghwa leaning on the gate with his hand tucked in his pockets

“guess no escaping ,now!! Sigh!!”

 

 

Slowly taking  small strides she tried to walk pass him but he grip her wrist firmly and dragged her  outside the school

“leave me yonghwa ah! You’re hurting me”

He suddenly stopped,stared at her with angry and hurt expression

“is something bothering you??” he asked

“No! what ar..e you..talking..abou.t” she said stammering without meeting his eyes

“Have I done something wrong??”  continued asking

“it’s nothing,really!” she said while turning to give her back to him

Yonghwa spunned her gripping her wrist and walked closer now holding her by the shoulder

“then why the hell were you avoiding me” he shouted shaking her fiercely

 

 

 

She chewed on her lips,avoiding any eye contact with him,blinking her eyes several times before taking a handful of air she brushed his hand away from her shoulder and looked at him intensely with hurt in her eyes

“please leave me alone”she said almost whispering and took a step back before walking away

His eyes widen,he saw her figure walking away,as if she’s walking away from his life, a lump formed in his throat

“Are you too going to abandon me like other” he choked out

Her steps halted,turning she saw him kneeling  with his head bowed down; alarmed,concerned she ran to him kneeling infront of him,trying to gauge his expression.

“what happen yonghwa ah! Ar..are you hu..hurt”she said frantically cupping his face

 

 

He looked at her with tears in his eyes

“shinhye ah! If something is bothering you talk to me,have I done something unintentionally to hurt you,huh!!then get angry at me, scold me,beat me as much  to your heart content.But don’t avoid me, don’t stop talking to me” his voice trembling as he cupped her hand resting on his cheeks with his

 

“please don’t leave me “
