After that loving making they had, Jessica requested for a few days off from the agency, SeungHyun calls her but she didn’t bother to answer any of it, until he decided to check her in the hotel where she stays. He made a few knocks before Jessica opened it for him, when he sees her, he immediately hug her as a greeting back she just remain in her place, standing like a stone in his warm embrace

SeungHyun felt Jessica’s barrier towards to him, he felt that something is wrong

 She just got dress, she felt so depress, her heart says she wants him but her mind says that what he did is enough

“Is there something wrong?” SeungHyun asked

Jessica remained silent as she closes her hotel room and just walked passed from him, he followed her silently

“Are you okay?” he tried to ask again but he didn’t hear any response

He got so worried; he grabbed her wrist and made her face him

“Tell me what’s wrong…” SeungHyun half shouted to her

She harshly grabbed her arm back that made him startled “LEAVE ME ALONE!!!”

“WHY? What happened? Are you sick?” he asked her worriedly while putting the back of her palm on her forehead

“NO!!! NO!!! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” she shouted as she pushed him away

“THEN TELL ME WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!!” he shouted too in frustration

“YES!!! THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME…AND THAT INLCUDES YOU!!!” she shouted at the top of her lungs

“THEN TELL ME SO WE CAN FIX IT…” he shouted to her back

Jessica calm as she saw SeungHyun’s expression, it was full of meaning, One day she made love with him and next day she wanted to get rid of him, her own heart is toying her like a fool

She gathered all her courage to speak her heart out “Let’s stop this…”

“Huh? WHAT? STOP WHAT?” SeungHyun asked in disbelief

“This…Us…”she said while looking away

“Why? Don’t you love me like I love you…” he said as he cupped her cheeks

Jessica made his hand let go of her“ I am…I love you…”

“Then what’s the problem?” he asked eagerly

“Me… my trust to you… it was so hard to me to trust you again…” Jessica said with an apologetic look 

“Let me prove myself to you…Jebal…” he pleaded as he knelt down in front of her

“Sorry… I can’t…” she said before walked away riding to her car

 

 

SeungHyun is still kneeling down as tears started to come out from his precious eyes

The photo shoot continue but Seunghyun never visit the studio, he didn’t participate for the past meetings, all he do it stayed at home and made himself drunk, nothing else, his life is a mess right now, his life is not the same now that she is gone from his life forever, she doesn’t need him anymore

He was about to sip his nth glass of Chivas Regal, alone in the bar as early as 5:30pm, when he remember there times together

 

They are the library, studying for the midterms, Jessica quite too focus in what she is reviewing while SeungHyun glance at her once in a while, Jessica noticed it and when she looks up to him he will diverted his eyes back to his book

 

“Any problem oppa?” she asked with a confuse look

He looked up to her pretending that he was just about to look at her just now, but too bad Jessica saw him in her peripheral view

“Ani. Let’s study…” he said before made an awkward smile

“Araso…” she said before she took of his eyeglass and wiped it with her hanky

SeungHyun was always mesmerized in her sweet acts; their eyes are still lock in each other as she wiped it

 

 

As she put it back on him, he blinks a few times to adjust his view

“Thanks and I love you…” he said before he gives her a sweet smooch

Then they continue to study

SeungHyun is lying down in bed with her, still under the covers

“That was fun oppa…” the girl said as she cuddled him

“Yeah, thanks, for a while I forget the pressure in I and Jessica’s relationship” he said as he wrap her arms to her

“Why? What did my best friend said now? About the future…” Tiffany said in sarcasm

“Yeah… the future…” he said as brush her hair

“You know her she is like that too futuristic, if you’re fed up with her, leave her and be with me…” tiffany said as she looked up to him

“No, I don’t want that to happen… I still respect her…” he finalized

Tiffany raises an eyebrow “really? Respect her, come on oppa, you had just with her best friend behind her back and now you are talking about respect.”

“Whatever. She will not learn about his affair and this will be definitely the last time.” He said as he got up from the bed and gathers his clothes

“Oppa, don’t leave me, please choose me…” Tiffany begged as she got up from the bed wrapped with blanket and started kissing him again

“I can’t. Just can’t…” he said as he rose from the bed and left

“OPPA!!!! YOU’LL PAY FOR THIS!!!” she shouted

 

He gulped another drink when he remember that Tiffany would do everything to make him separated from Jessica, she sent the screen cap that she made from the video she secretly took while they making , he despised Tiffany for that but after years of begging and the wounds of betrayal slowly heal, he learned to forgive Tiffany but why not Jessica, why doesn't she learn to forgive him

Jessica as at the café, zoning out, when someone caught her attention, when she look up it was SeungHyun looking so depress, dark circles under his eyes

“Can we talk…” he begged as he sat down opposite to her

Jessica can’t help but softened a bit seeing him miserable but she doesn’t have the courage to listen to his explanation

“Sorry, I need to go.” She excuses herself and exit the café

Little that she knows, SeungHyun is following her, he stop her riding in her car “Jebal…” he pleaded for the nth time and this time she give in

They went to Namsan Tower, where they used to date before when they are still a couple a few years back, they are looking the breath taking view of Seoul in this chilly night, inches apart

“What do you want to talk about?” Jessica started

“I just want to explain to you everything and start anew.” He propose

Jessica nod signaling him to start

“I’m sorry for breaking your heart, I’m so sorry for cheating on you, I was just pressured on the things you wanted to happened between us, I was just young back then and just wanted to enjoy. I become a coward hearing out your plans about marrying someday and live happily ever after, I know my reasons for cheating you are lame but that’s how I felt at that time, but swear God knows how I regretted it but I as late. Too late…” he explained whole heartedly

In just a snapped, she slapped him “So again, it is my fault why you cheat. So now it is wrong to dream to be with the person you love, maybe I loved you too much back then… but again good thing it happened that we separated, because just like the other guys, you are coward.” She said before she slapped him again before she walk away

He run up to her and made her face him “ Please, give me another chance…”

“Let’s end here, what I hear is enough… for me to close my heart for you, because if I forgive you and we got back together, we will always end up fighting about that reason, and I always end up slapping that reason in your face and we will just end up hurting each other again. Let me go… Just let me…” she said as she slowly took of his hand away from her arm, and run away, as she started to cry her heart out

As everything for the magazine finishes, Jessica flew back to America and they never contacted again but things change because before she left, she patch things up with her family, friends but not to him.

While SeungHyun decided to continue his life, but still hoping that she will forgive him and dreamt that they can be together in the future

 

Maybe not NOW…

Jessica is back in Seoul for a vacation, after she stepped out of the airport later that afternoon, she immediately went to the exact place where they separated 3 years ago, surprisingly she end up watching the bright city in front of her, she was too focus in watching to the point she didn’t realized that someone was beside her

“So you’re back…” a deep voice said

Jessica was startled when she realize someone is standing beside her, when she looked up to see who was it, she was surprise to see him

“He…Hello…” she said with a bow

“Welcome back…” he said before he gave her a hug

“Th..Thank you. How did you know I’m here…” she asked nervously

“The birds told me. Anyway I still didn’t have the chance to thank you for posing in our magazine years ago.” He said with a bright smile

“Ah, that’s nothing, it’s my pleasure…” she said with a low tone

Then silence embraces them as the wind blow gives them chill but still gazes are still lock to each other

 

“So? Would you mind posing to our magazine again?” he asked as he stepped closer to her

“Sure, why not.” She said as she stepped back, she accidentally step on a rock that made her lose her balance, good thing SeungHyun is fast

He caught her in his arms and said “Would you pose in our magazine wearing a wedding dress?”
