As they grabbed their tickets and began to board the plane, Danielle couldn’t help but feel like eyes were on her the whole time. When they found their seats, they quickly put their stuff in the overhead compartment and sat. She looked back, getting that feeling as if someone was watching her, and noticed that the mysterious guy from earlier was 2 rows behind her to her left. She turned back to Maryanne and glanced back to the guy.

          “Marley… He’s still staring at us…” Danielle said as she faced forward in her seat as to not let the guy know she was looking at him. “Aww Dani. Let’s forget him. Let’s enjoy ourselves before the crazy night we have planned!” Maryanne smiled and her laptop. Danielle just nodded, biting her lip. She crossed her arms and leaned back in her seat, waiting for takeoff.

~Later~

          Danielle still couldn’t sit comfortably with this guy staring at her. It scared her. But she couldn’t help but wonder why he was staring at her. Did she have something on her face? Does she look like somebody he knows? It was bugging her to the point that she got up and went to the bathroom, passing the guy on the way. She didn’t really have to go to the bathroom, but she just wanted to have some time to herself, away from the eyes staring her down. She splashed some water on herself and sighed, looking in the mirror. “Pull yourself together, Danielle. That guy might just think you are pretty or something. Stop thinking about it too much and think about Infinite! Tonight I will see my favorite band. Let’s do this. Hwaiting!” She said as she raised her fists in front of her face as a way to encourage herself to continue to her seat without thinking about the guy staring at her. She sighed before leaving the room and heading back to her seat next to her best friend. She left the bathroom and calmly walked to her seat, eyes widening as she walked past the guy.

          “Feeling better, Dani?” Maryanne asked as her best friend sat down beside her. “Yes. I feel much better. Thank you! I splashed some water on my face to calm me down and now I’m feeling much better than I did. I still need to get used to riding on planes.” She laughed and then nudged her best friend. “Now how about you and I listen to some Infinite together before we land?” Maryanne smiled and replied saying, “Of course! I’m always down for listening to Infinite!” 

Danielle reached down to her purse to get her ipod out, dropping it. “Dang!” She said. As she reached to grab it, her hand was met with another also reaching for the ipod. The person grabbed the ipod and stood up. Danielle was in completely disbelief as she was now face to face with the guy who had been staring at her all morning.

“I believe this is yours.” Was all he said. Danielle completely forgot how to function at that point. All she could do was stare and nod. The guy laughed and handed it to her. Danielle tried to make out some words to say ‘thank you’, but all that came out was “Tha-”. She couldn’t even fully say ‘Thanks’. He just laughed and smiled. Why was his smile absolutely beautiful? “You’re welcome.” He said. With that, he walked back to his seat and plugged in his ipod.

Danielle stared in disbelief and looked at her best friend. “Did he just…” Maryanne also couldn’t say anything and just nodded. They just sighed and started to play Infinite. This was definitely turning out to be the strangest day they’ve had in a LONG time.
