AN: Hi everyone ^^ I've kind of already announced this fanfic before, and tonight I felt like finally starting it. So this is set in the same AU as 'The Story of a Broken Dragon', with the same characters that play completely different roles in the story. I really do hope that you will at least check this out ^^

The world:

It is mainly inhabited by supernatural/magical creatures.

Humans do exist of course, but they aren't really treated the best unless they have a lot of money.

Some types of creatures are cruel and heartless, while numerous of them are kind and sweet.

The creatures only fall in love once. This love is stronger than any bond humans ever made, though there had been some cases when supernatural beings (mainly demons and vampires) were the mates of humans. They didn't end well.

Oftentimes, the more 'human-like' beings can be tricked into believing that they had been found by their mates. It had happened many times before, and never had it ended well.

In this world, age only matters for humans, since most beings live for a very, very long time...

Characters:

Kwon Jiyong

A young angel with a big heart. He can be quite innocent, most possibly because of what he is.  He had been living alone for almost a decade, for an honestly silly reason. Luckily, he likes the freedom of living alone, so he doesn't really care.

Choi Seunghyun

A vampire that is currently looking for his mate. He is known to be quite impatient, though he doesn't always show it. People around him always tell him that he has to wait, to be patient, but it's getting harder and harder for him as he wants to meet his mate finally.

Jiyong was sitting on a tree, his enormous, white wings wrapped around his small form as it was getting a little cold. He was humming to himself quietly, watching a pair of squirrels play with each other, soft, high-pitched sound of what seemed like laughter escaping them. The angel couldn't help but smile at the sight, outstretching one of his hands towards the critters, chuckling when one of them took hesitant steps towards it, bead-like black eyes staring at him warily. And still the small animal wasn't exactly afraid, or at least it seemed like it as slowly reached him, putting one of its tiny hands on it. "Why hello..."The angel smiled, petting his new friend.
