Jonghyun woke up in a haze. Sitting up, he rubbed off the stale slobber sat on the corner of his chin. He felt as if he had been sleeping for months. How long had he been asleep? Was it months? He couldn’t remember. The last thing he could remember was sitting around drinking off the pain of Key. Key. He had completely forgotten the whole situation. Pulling out his phone, he checked to see if there were any missed messages from Key. There weren’t any. He locked his phone and placed it on the coffee stand. The couch seemed to be the place where he wanted to fall asleep here lately. Looking around, he noticed all the soju bottles scattered around the room. That explained why he couldn’t remember anything. He never was able to hold his alcohol very well. Since Key wasn’t going to come home, there was no reason to clean up right away. He laid back down on the couch. His mind filled with images of Key, Victoria and Jessica. He didn’t know what do to. His phone vibrated slightly on the coffee table, he reached over and typed in his passcode and opened his messages. It was a message from Jessica.

‘We need to talk about something important. Come here as soon as possible please.’

He quickly replied and sat up wondering what quite sure what is wrong that is so important. He sat up again and scratched the back of his head. Well he might as well be presentable. Standing up, he headed into the foyer and up the stairs. Heading to the end of the hall, he opened the last door to the right, his and keys room. Stepping into the bathroom, he stripped out of his clothes and entered the shower. He turned the water as hot as he could stand it, and stood there as the steaming water chased down his body. It felt weird not having Key with him, they’d always take a shower together so they would have alone time. Although he and Jessica had been together for four months, they never shared sweet passionate moments together. He couldn’t believe it four months, four months he had cheated on the wonderful Key. He tried to comprehend how this all worked but the pieces just wouldn’t fit into the puzzle. He stepped out of the shower, not even trying to fully bathe himself. His mind was too busy trying to compensate the whole situation. Grabbing a towel and drying his hair with it, he dropped it on the floor and walked into the bedroom and over to the walk in closest that he and Key shared. Grabbing a pair of khaki shorts with a red shirt, he slipped them on with a pair of black toms.

*At Jessica’s House*

Pulling into the driveway, he shut off his car and mentally prepared himself for whatever news Jessica has in store for him. Getting out of his car and slamming the door shut, he walked up to the door and opened it, letting himself in. Flicking off his shoes he walked into the kitchen where he saw her leaning over the sink. He wrapped his arms around her slim waist and kissed the side of her neck, sending shivers down her spine. A small smile formed on her lips and she turned around and planted a soft kiss on his lips. After a few seconds they pulled away.

“How are you?”

Jonghyun asked still not letting her out of his arms. He watched as she nervously bit her bottom lip.

“I have uh… been better, I suppose.”

Jonghyun gave her a questioning look.

“What do you mean by that?”

She let out an awkward laugh and gently smacked his shoulder

“Oh you, always a worrier,” she quickly pushed past him “How about a cup a tea?”

“Yeah that would be good.”

Jonghyun made his way to the sofa as Jessica poured them a cup of tea. After the cups were full and made just the way they liked it, she joined him on the sofa. Handing him his cup, she sat hers down on the coffee table before taking a sip of her own. Jessica watched him as he took small sips of his tea. Sitting it down besides Jessica’s he turned his attention to her.

“Jess, what’s wr-”

“Jonghyun, I’m pregnant.”

She blurted, soon covering her lips with her hand as soon as the words seem to spew out of her. Jonghyun’s face fell pale and his mouth hung open.

“But we, how, what?!”

“I’m pregnant, 18 weeks pregnant to be exact.”

She slipped out barely above a whisper. He shook his head in disbelief.

“But we used protection!”

“Apparently not 18 weeks ago,” She shifted uncomfortably “I’m so sorry Jonghyun! I should have been more careful with you being with Key and having Victoria bu-”

“No Jess, I- I’m not with him anymore.”

“What? Why?”

“H-he left me because he found out that I was with you.”

“Oh Jonghyun, I’m so sorry,” Jess wept “I didn’t mean to be a home wrecker, I’ve just loved you ever since I’ve laid eyes on you.”

Jonghyun pulled her into a hug as she wept onto his shoulder. She quickly pulled away and wiped the tears from her eyes.

“I have an ultrasound of the baby. We can see what the of it is.”

“Can I see it?”

“Of course, let me go to my room and get it real quick.”

She hurriedly ran to the direction of her room. He listened as she rummaged through her things and was back with a manila envelope, holding it close to her chest, she took her seat next to Jonghyun. She slipped her hand into the envelope and pulled out a small picture and handed it to Jonghyun, who accepted it with a shaky hand. She pointed at a place on the picture.

“You see, right here, you can tell what it is.”

Barely above a whisper, he managed to slip out

“It’s a…”

Sorry for such a short chapter guys, I just had my wisdom teeth pulled Friday so I'm in uncomfortable pain and my medication makes me drowsy. I will have a chapter up in the next two days though! ^^
