Summary: the real reasons behind Nichkhun's appearance in WGM and how Wooyoung copes with the sudden loss of his hyung's affection.
A/N: This will be a 5 chapter mini series that I wrote quite a while back but kept forgetting to post here. Hope you enjoy this :)
Chapter 1:
veneer: (v-nîr) a superficially valuable or pleasing appearance: eg. a cruelperson with a veneer of kindliness.
It burdens him to know that even if he get out of this unscathed with his reputation intact, he would've broken not one, but two hearts
Chapter 2:
overdue: (oh-ver-doo): Having deserved or needed something for some time: eg. he was overdue for some leave
If there’s anything Wooyoung learnt from this, it is that time doesn’t wait for certain people.
Chapter 3:
pretense: (pri-tens, pree-tens): A professed but feigned reason or excuse; a pretext: eg. under false pretenses.
Because if he keeps pretending, maybe someday it will feel almost real.
Chapter 4:
numb: (nuhm): lacking or deficient in emotion or feeling; indifferent: eg. He was numb to their pleas for mercy.
He understands, he really does, but it’s not like being understanding will help dull the pain.
Chapter 5:
compromise: (ˈkɒmprəˌmaɪz): something midway between two or more different things: eg. The conflicting parties agreed to compromise.
Maybe some things are worth the compromise...
