Jonghyun hunched forward on the bench, head in his hands. How was he going to get out of this one?  He had gotten separated from the other members when they were running from fans, and he didn’t have his cell phone to contact them.  He ran a hand through his dark brown hair and sighed heavily. His eyes were shut tightly in frustration, wrinkling his brow.

“Where’s a person that speaks Korean when you need one?” He mumbled to himself. He happened to be stuck in a random park in America. It was somewhere in the state of Texas, in a city that he couldn’t remember the name of.

He knew this be a long day, judging on the fact that he didn’t speak a of English and that he had no idea where he was currently. He looked around desperately, as if a magic fairy that could grant him English speaking powers would pop out. The park was practically deserted besides a young couple cuddling each other on a bench. Yuck. He tapped his feet, stomping them louder each time until he shot up with a loud jump, startling the couple. 

Jonghyun started to stride down the pavement, anger in his steps. He walked with his hands and jaw clenched, ready to pick a fight if anyone even asked him a question.

He ended up running into a girl that turned the corner, and she fell back onto the pavement. Jonghyun stared down at her, not sure what to do.

“Ow! What the hell?! At least apologize, jerk face!” She growled at him as she stood up and brushed the dirt of her shorts. She gave him a glare, and Jonghyun froze, not understanding what she had said.

“I’m…sorry.” He said, with a thick accent.

The girl gave him a strange look. Jonghyun fumbled with his bag to get out a Korean-English dictionary. He slipped it out and flipped through it frantically.

“Where...am I?” He struggled out.

The girl raised an eyebrow then glanced down at the book in Jonghyun’s hands. A flicker of understanding came onto her face and she pulled out her phone. Jonghyun gave her a confused look.

She started to type quickly and then gave a satisfied smile. She turned the screen to Jonghyun and he hesitantly read the message she had typed. His eyes widened as he saw it was Korean.  He looked at her with a shocked expression and she gestured toward her phone handing it to him.

“You’re in River Legacy Park.  I typed this using Google translator, so just switch my keyboard language to Korean and do the same.” He read.

He looked up at her in curiosity and she nodded her head. He handed the phone to her and gestured for her to change it to Korean for him because he couldn’t read what the buttons said. The girl chuckled and looked up at him with an amused expression. Jonghyun’s face grew hot in embarrassment.  He took the phone quickly from her once she changed it, a slight pout on his face. The girl continued to laugh softly.

Jonghyun hesitated before typing in, “Thank you, um...Where exactly am I in River Legacy Park? I got split up from my friends, and I have no way to contact them. Could I possibly use your phone?”

He switched the message to English with a tap of his thumb and handed to the girl. She bit her lip as she read it and her brow furrowed. She quickly typed something and handed it to Jonghyun.

“There isn’t an exact location really, but you can go ahead and use my phone. C:” She wrote.

Jonghyun smiled at the smiley face and was about to type back when the phone’s screen turned black. He gave it a confused look and showed it to the girl. She sighed in frustration and ran a hand through her hair. She turned to Jonghyun with an apologetic look.

“It’s dead. “ She said to him, biting her lip again.

Dead? Oh! It must be out of battery. Jonghyun nodded, using all the English he learned from high school to understand. The girl took his arm and gently pulled him in a certain direction. He gave her a confused look and she gave him a small smile.

“Follow me.” She said, quietly.

Jonghyun nodded numbly, understanding her because of T-ARA’s Bo Peep song. Thank god. Her smile is actually really cute…

As the girl walked quickly, Jonghyun’s eyes rested on the hand on his arm. He grinned, not being able to help the flirt in him as he softly slid his hand into hers. He felt her fingers twitch for a moment but she,didn’t look back. Jonghyun raised his eyebrows. Most girls would shy away. Interesting… The one thing he had failed to notice was that the girl’s ears were bright red.

 He started to get used to the feel of her slim hand in his when she stopped abruptly. Jonghyun looked up, and raised his eyebrows at the girl as she suddenly clenched his hand. His eyes followed hers and he also froze.

A group of fangirls were lined up at the entrance, chatting happily and looking around. They had colorful signs and cameras. Jonghyun felt himself panic and tugged the girl’s hand so that they would walk quickly away. Unfortunately, the girl tripped, taken by surprise, and Jonghyun lunged forward to catch her. For a moment, she was pressed against him and staring into his eyes as his arms wrapped around her waist. But before Jonghyun could closely look at her, a fangirl turned at the noise they had made and screamed.

Jonghyun Immediately released the girl and grabbed her hand to run. He heard the girl softly cuss in English and he laughed out loud, despite the fact that he was running for his life from ravenous fangirls.

Jonghyun led the girl into one of the gazebos, and they ducked underneath a table. The girl was panting slightly and Jonghyun tried to focus elsewhere as he noticed the position they were in. She was on top of him, almost straddling his hips, but she was balancing her weight onto him by resting her hands on his chest.  As the fangirls got closer, her hands gripped his shirt and she put her head on his chest. He pulled himself up to a slight sitting position and protectively drew his arms around her delicate torso.

 As the fangirls footsteps died away, all they could hear was each other’s breathing. The girl relaxed in his arms and then shifted, finally realizing their position. Jonghyun cleared his throat and quickly released her as she got off of him and sat down next to him silently. She clutched her knees and buried her face in them. Jonghyun glanced over at her, face burning. He noticed her ears were bright red and he smiled softly.

“What’s your name?” He asked, used to asking this for fan signings.

She looked up at him for a brief second, revealing her blushing face. She looked away quickly and mumbled, “I’m Amy.”

Jonghyun grinned. A cute name for a cute girl. He flipped the bands out of his eyes.

“I’m Jonghyun.” He said, looking at the girl.

She returned his gaze and Jonghyun realized for the second time how close they were. He gently looked at her. She had large, green eyes and she was wearing an amount of makeup that Jonghyun thought was unnecessary for she was probably still gorgeous without it. He was fascinated by her golden locks that fell down her back in waves, the color obviously natural, and it gave her a sort of angelic glow. Her lips were a rosy red and looked extremely kissable. She was like a doll.

He blinked, bringing himself back down to reality, and noticed that she was inspecting him like he had before. He smiled at her as her eyes traveled down to his lips and they snapped back up immediately and she blushed again.  He chuckled, brushing a hair out of her eyes. She smiled shyly and Jonghyun felt a stir go through his heart.

“J-Jonghyun.” Amy said, having trouble pronouncing his name.

“Yes?” he replied, quietly. Jonghyun chuckled. He searched in his head for shortened nicknames that would be easier for her to say.

“Follow me, Jonghyun.” She told him, once again stumbling over his name as she crawled out from underneath the table.

“Pick nickname.” He said, to her. He pointed to himself. He wanted her to be comfortable around him, so she could make up her own.

“You want me to make a nickname for you?” She asked, slowly. Jonghyun hesitated before nodding.

She paused, pouting her lip as she thought. She played with the end of her hair and Jonghyun felt his heart warm as he watched her adorable expressions.

“Dino!” she suddenly said, eyes sparkling. She pointed at Jonghyun.

Jonghyun’s eyes widened and he started to laugh. What the heck?!  What was with girls and naming him after dinosaurs?!

Amy smiled in satisfaction and nodded. She took Jonghyun’s hand and started to run. Jonghyun stumbled behind, grinning like an idiot. Amy pulled keys out of her pocket and Jonghyun’s curiosity peaked. He gave her hand a squeeze so she would look at him then gave a curious glance toward her keys. She smiled.

“Car!” She said, over her shoulder.

Jonghyun raised an eyebrow. They were going to her car?

….WAS SHE GOING TO KIDNAP HIM?!  O^O
