Author’s P.O.V

Weeks passed by and the smell of spring was slowly coming. Everything was going great with Hyunmi, a peaceful relationship between her friends and good grades. But one thing seemed to never change, her not so great connection with Luhan. She didn’t care though, she always knew she won’t get along with everyone. So, she accepted it.

Happily, Jieun and Sooyeon stopped being anti-Exo and actually got alone with them. Miyoung became part of the group too, just like how Hyunmi thought Jieun and Sooyeon got along with her really well. Basically it was happily land with Hyunmi.

As usual the University was loud, but today it seemed louder than usual. But, it was an exception for most because it was the last day ‘til spring break. Shouts and discussions of what they were going to do were heard from every corner of the school.

Not like everyone, Exo didn’t have a plan ‘nor a special occasion to attend. It was looked to be a plain, normal break. But one didn’t let that happen.

 “HYUNGS! I want to go somewhere too! How ‘bout all of us go to a vacation!” Sehun eagerly asked. Everyone crooked their heads to the side and started thinking.

“AHH!” Kai exclaimed while snapping his fingers. “I know! We could go to this resort that my mom rented!” He explained.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded at the suggestion of Kai.

“That doesn’t sound bad!” Chanyeol smiled, “Can I invite Hyunmi? I bet she’ll be spending her break all alone.”

“What?! One girl with seven guys, I don’t think that’s a great idea.” Luhan defended.

“Shut up Luhan, you just don’t want to be near Hyunmi.” Lay chuckled, “And I thought you were finally getting alone with her, I guess not.”

“Well maybe that’s not such a bad idea, you know. So we can have a girl to hang out with.” Kai playfully raised his eyebrows.

“What do you mean by that?” Chanyeol and Kris sternly asked.

“Nothing!” Kai snapped, “Nothing at all.”

“Yeah, you better.” Chanyeol glared, “And anyways, we can invite her friends too.”

Soon the bell rang signaling that class was starting. They said their goodbye’s and walked to their classes.

Chanyeol was walking slowly, not caring if he was late when he spotted Hyunmi in the crowd. “YAH! PARK HYUNMI!” He hollered.

She searched from left to right, looking for who called her. Then finally saw her cousin waving his hands up in the air like a psycho. Hyunmi quickly approached him, not wanting to be late for class. “What do you want? Say it quick, it’s already late!”

“Okay, okay. Calm down. I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to come with us at a resort for spring break. Oh, and you can bring your friends with you.”

“REALLY?! That sounds fun! Sure, I’ll ask my friends first.” Hyunmi happily jumped in the air imagining a peaceful break. “Tell me the details later. AND! Try better at school Oppa, I’ve seen your grades. It ain’t that good.”

Hyunmi chuckled, making her way to class. Luckily she wasn’t late and a minute to spare to tell Sooyeon and Jieun.

“Hey guys! Oh, I was just going to ask if you two are doing anything this spring break.”

“Uh, nothing really. Just gonna stay at home and watch dramas all day and all night.” Jieun replied.

“Same, like every year I’m just going to stay home.” Sooyeon groaned while fixing her things on her desk.

“Then that’s great! You can come with me and Exo to a resort!” Hyunmi exclaimed.

They both looked at each other, not sure if they should go. But the thought of staying home for a whole week made them shiver. “Sure!” Both happily agreed.

Just then the professor came in, making Hyunmi scramble back to her sit next to Luhan.

After a 2 hour class a small break was announced, just in time for Hyunmi to ask Miyoung about the trip. She quickly got her way out of the classroom and rushed to Miyoung’s class.

“Miyoung! I need to… ask… you something.” Hyunmi panted.

“Oh! Is it about the resort? I already agreed, Chanyeol asked me at class.” Miyoung replied giggling on how excited Hyunmi seemed to be.

She shot up in surprise. “Really? Dang, then all that running was for no use. I guess I’ll just see you at lunch.” Hyunmi bed her goodbye and tiredly made her way to her classroom.
