Such a stupidity
Don't Forget MeYesung sits on the bed, looking at Wookie’s face. He can still see there a trace of fear which appeared when he kissed him – it has not vanished despite several hours of sleeping. He hides his face in his palms, whining. How could he be such a moron?! Yesung, you ! What did you think? How could you do such a thing? How?! Wookie... His Wookie...
He looks at his face again – his eyelids shiver in uneasy sleep and Yesung can still notice dry trails of tears which cross Wookie’s face.
“Please, forgive me. I’m so sorry...” he whispers quietly, reaching out. He wants to his cheek but he stops just in front of it. He feels cold invisible wall between Wookie’s face and his fingers. Tears appear in his tired eyes. He cannot... He cannot touch him. After what he did, he cannot do something like this. He will never forgive himself. He does not want to hurt him even more.
He lays his hand back to his lap and then he gets up. He just cannot stay here. He has to disappear. At the moment he closes the door, his mobile phone rings in his pocket. He takes it out and without looking at the display he picks it up.
“Yeah?”
He does not recognize his own voice.
“Yesung? What happened?” Siwon asks confusedly when he hears a sound of Yesung’s voice. Yesung does not say anything – and the silence does not calm Siwon down at all.
“Sung?” he says again hesitantly. Yesung feels more tears streaming down his face; he leans against a wall, sliding down to the floor. He hides his face in his hands again, painfully.
“Siwon, I’ve done such a stupidity,” he whispers desperately to the phone. He feels sick. He is sick. He is sick of himself. His body trembles with suppressed sobs which dominates him every time he recalls the frightened expression of Wookie’s face... Why did it happen?
“I’m at your place in ten minutes,” he can hear Siwon’s voice and then just silence. Siwon probably hung up but Yesung does not care. He drops his mobile phone which hits the ground next to Yesung. He does not mind if it broke, he just ruffles his hair, closing eyes firmly. His face contorts in a grimace of pain. He did not want it...
He does not even look up when he hears a knock on the door. And he would not even open the door if the person behind it didn’t start to try to break it. When he realizes there is no other way, he slowly goes down stairs, unlocking the door.
“Finally! God, Yesung, you look terrible! What the hell happened?” Siwon stutters in horror when he looks at Yesung’s eyes. Yesung just bends his head, moving aside to let Siwon come in.

“This... This is bad,” Siwon assesses the situation when Yesung finally stops explaining. Actually, Siwon expected something like this would happen soon. He felt the relationship between Yesung and the boy. But he didn’t expect it would be so...drastic. It was obvious Yesung has to realize his feeling and Siwon knew it wouldn’t be easy for both of them. And it is also obvious Yesung really did a big stupidity. He should have known Wookie was already scared when he saw the man who hurt him and he remembered everything and he shouldn’t have done something like this.
“What should I do?” Yesung looks at Siwon with his helpless eyes which make Siwon sigh. It hurts to see his friend in such a condition. And it hurts much more to realize he cannot advise him. He really has not any idea what Yesung should do.
“I don’t know, Yesung. I’m sorry... But I believe it’ll be okay,” he tries to smile encouragingly but Yesung just whines.
“How could it be okay? You didn’t see him, Siwon. You didn’t see his look... You didn’t see the fear in his eyes. He was even more frightened than he was the day I found him. He... He’s scared of me.”
He cannot stop tears which start to stream down his face again. Siwon leaves his armchair, sitting down next to Yesung, hugging him tightly.
“I know it’ll be okay, really. Because Wookie trust you – he never trusted anyone else like he trusts you now.”
“No... He doesn’t trust me anymore,” Yesung just sighs. The imagination of Wookie hating him hurts.
“He does. He just got scared, it’s all. He saw him, not you at that moment. He is the person who Wookie’s afraid of, not you.”
Siwon speaks quietly, calmly. He tries to persuade Yesung it will really be okay but he is not sure if he is successful.
“I wish you were right,” Yesung just whispers quietly.

“He’s still sleeping,” Yesung sighs. Why does he sleep so long? It has already been the eternity. Siwon looks at him with concerns in his eyes but he restores his comforting smile quickly.
“He’ll wake up soon. He was tired; all those memories were just too much for him. Long sleep will just help him to recover.”
“I think you’re right,” Yesung nods doubtfully, sitting down at the table. He presses a mug of strong coffee, taking a sip.
“Go ahead,” he spurs Siwon.
“It seems he’s worse than we thought. They found another boy in his house, you know. He was in a terrible state. And they think they will find out more crimes. Who knows how many children he kidnapped. It seems Wookie’s not the only one who was so unlucky.”
Yesung presses the mug a little tighter. He does not care if it cracks. He feels much more furious than he ever did. He would kill the man who hurt his Wookie so much if he could... And then he would kill himself because he was the one who hurt him as well.
“It’ll last a few days until the police finish whole investigation. Right now they try to find parents of the second boy. We can just hope they’ll appear soon.”
Yesung does not almost listen to him; he is lost in his own thoughts. And he is angry. And he regrets he did not kill the man when he had the opportunity. If he had a knife...
“It’s incredible what kind of people lives around us. I know I’ve no right to say it but men like him don’t deserve to live.”
Yesung looks at Siwon with a sneer. He has no right to say it? Who will punish him? God? If there is God, children like Wookie shouldn’t suffer, should they? There is no God looking down at us. Or if he is, his eyes are closed. No. If a person wants a justice in this world, he has to arrange it himself. How can something invisible help you to fight against visible people? This is not fairytale. No gold fish and no magical grandpa.
“I’ll make sure he’ll end up in hell,” he grumbles hatefully.
