Familiar Stranger: The Beginning

This is the side story to Familiar Strangers! I recommend you read that first :D
Inspired by Jay Chou's "Excuse" (the song; not the MV this time).
Also, before you read, please keep in mind that Daehyun has multiple personality disorder (in case you get confused).
Without further ado, I present to you The Beginning.
Foreword
A soft glow of sunlight floats into a room, illuminating the four walls. The walls glow a pure white, complimenting the innocence of the couple at the corner of the room. The two are sitting on a sturdy, newly bought couch and taking pictures together. This is one of their pastimes, one of their numerous couple games.
“I bet I look like an idiot,” mumbles Daehyun as he presses a button on the camera to view the last picture he took with his significant other. He briefly scans the picture before covering his eyes with one hand. He tilts his head back against the couch and groans. “I look like an idiot. Why do I look like an idiot?” he asks no one in particular. However, Youngjae, being the smart aleck that he is, opens his mouth to answer.
“One of two reasons.” He holds up a finger for each reason, “Either you really are an idiot, or it’s your fault for copying my pose.” Daehyun sends a deadpan look towards him.
“I’m not an idiot, and it’s not my fault that you are ridiculously photogenic,” he defends himself.
Youngjae chuckles lightly in amusement and smiles brightly.
“I love you.”
