About 40 years ago rebels went against the President of Seoul, disliking how he treated humanity. By showing their rage they burnt down half of the city and everything coming their way was destroyed. The President took it ever so seriously and decided that those whom suffered loss and rage, innocent people who had done nothing should be repaid by the biggest price—life. He introduced humanity to ‘Seoul Trials’, a game between life and death. Sacrifice and honor.

Every person between the ages of 17 and 26, same age as those rebels, are forced to join these games. From the day they turn 17 they are harvest amongst us and a track ID is inserted into their arm, this tracker automatically turns off when they reach the age of 26, dead or alive. You can volunteer, which shows more pride than if you’re forced.

The city was ruined and now it’s a smaller one, no high buildings, barely any at all stand in their glory as the city has a main park in the center and a big forest outlining one side of it. Humanity struggle for jobs, money and most importantly food. Everything is technologically ruled and during night time, computers take over what will happen. From which creatures are let out, at which spot or places. Fires are triggered even the weather can be controlled from the Moderator room.

Three teams struggle to survive. Lupus, Apus and Hydrus. Each team has a leader which personalities suit perfectly to the given names. The leaders look out for their members, take care of them as family during night. Helping each other to survive. The mission is to kill other team members, so your team is still standing on their own before a new cycle of trials can begin.

During day time most are comfortable with each others presence and feel no grudge against one another, they know it’s  game and they did not pick this fight unless they joined at own will, some are different—and hate. Taking it all very seriously.
