"Ryeowook you're in charge of food your underlings are Henry and Sungmin" 

 

"Remember, sandwiches, watermelon, other fruits, drinks, chips, the meat that's packed on the left side of the freezer and candy" 

 

"I'm bringing my pets" 

 

"Me too!"

 

"SURPRISE" in came two unexpected guests 

 

"HYUNG" everyone froze in their spots 

 

"What- YESUNG" Ryeowook screamed as he ran and hugged the said man (Yesung had been gone for two days to do a physical and mental check up for the army) 

 

A few minutes later everyone was getting ready to go on the picnic get out of the house and into the two large vans 

 

"I'm driving" Siwon said before Leeteuk could offer 

 

"Wae~ Siwon~ let hyung do the driving" 

 

"Ani hyung you just came back so you should be the one to rest" Siwon declined politely 

 

The truth was, no one wanted to risk their lives with Leeteuk as their driver 

 

Leeteuk pouted and went inside the van 

 

"How about we have Hwa and Hae sit on Minji and Hyukkie?" Donghae suggested 

 

"Good idea fish" Heechul remarked 

 

Everyone sat inside the vans and squished Minji really close to Eunhyuk

 

"Geeez why Is it so crowded! I'm practically on Hyuk" Minji thought to herself as she blushed realizing the skin contact 

 

"Wait what? Why am I blushing" she thought to herself again. She looked up and saw an air vent 

 

"It must be because it's hot that's why" she mumbled to herself 

 

"Massi turn on the AC" 

 

"Okay Myeolchi" 

 

A few minutes later they reached the park, one by one the members stepped out 

 

"Damn we look like a clown car, people just keep coming out" 

 

After setting up the picnic table under a huge tree with a nice shade some of them headed out to go on a boat ride in the large lake before them. 

 

"We need all six boats" Eunhyuk concluded 

 

"Yep and every couple gets a boat to themselves"

 

Kyuhyun and Donghae "kidnapped" Hwa and hae giving the "parents" some time to themselves 

 

Seconds later Hyukjae and Minji were on the boat together paddling their way through the lake, viewing beautiful scenery 

 

"Woah never knew it'd be this pretty" Minji said 

 

"True" 

 

Hyukjae was so nervous he was looking into the lake 

 

"Oh! I found Donghae" Hyukjae laughed as he saw a fish swim in the not so clouded pool 

 

He took out his phone and took a picture and posted on twitter 'I found Donghae' was the caption and he kakaoed the picture to everyone in the group and when he showed what he saw to minji she laughed understanding the joke 

Hyukjae's heart stopped at the sound of her melodious laughter. 

 

He smiled his gummy smile but hid it immediately 

 

'My gummy smiles are ugly she won't like me if I show them to her' he made a note to himself 

 

"Why do you do that?" 

 

"What?" 

 

"Every time you laugh you always hide your smile with the back of your hand" 

 

"Uh... My gums show when I smile and-" 

 

"And your afraid of showing a beautiful smile?" 

 

"Ye- no it's ugly" 

 

"Says the swan who thought he was a duck" 

 

"A-are you just saying that or do you mean it" 

 

"Why would I say something I don't mean?" 

 

The boat ride ended after a short thirty minutes 

 

"Paegoppa" hae whined 

 

"Alright let's eat" Hyukjae said picking up Hae 

Minji watched the interactions throughout the day 

Hyukjae was kind, kinder than most people she met, he loved Hwa and Hae with all he had and never failed to notice when something was off. 

 

She liked that about him, his personality was not like that of those who had been in the entertainment industry. He was still kind and considerate and thoughtful. But the thing she liked the most was his gummy smile. She could feel her heart stop when he smiled and his gums stopped 

 

That sincere expression was rare and it was exactly what minji looked for 

 

His expressive and sharp eyes

 

His slim yet toned figure

 

His voice when he sang in English 

 

His style 

 

His every action 

 

His obsession with strawberries 

 

His love for Choco 

 

His love for his family and the members 

 

His everything 

 

Unknowingly and undeniably Minji had been falling in love 

 

She swore the only person who made her heart beat was Kame but ever since she met Hyuk her heart had been going into random frenzies 

 

The first time she met him she undeniably fell in love at first sight but the thing that bothered her was the fact that she had just broken up with Kame and there was an unstated fact that he could have someone he loved too. Maybe he was being too kind to show it. Maybe he was just with her because he had to be with her. 

 

Minji has always detested her fathers decisions, even with his last decision about her marriage with Hyukjae but now she no longer hates his decision but rather she thanks him for letting her meet such a kind and handsome man 

 

Oh my his smile made me realize my feelings
