Meeting

I woke up when the rays of the sun managed to hit my face. I opened my eyes and saw an empty bed

He slept on the sofa didn’t he?

I looked around and couldn't find him instead I found a little sticky note on the drawer next to my side of the bed

'Sorry I had an early schedule. I'll come pick you and the kids up at around four, my boss and manager need to talk to you, if you read this call me, XXX-XXX-XXXX'

I washed up and went to my phone and called him

"Yeobusaeyo" I said as he picked up the phone

"Yeobusaeyo?" he asked

"It’s me, Minji"

"Oh hey, yea you have like five hours until the meeting and I asked my manager if Hwa and Hae could come but he said no"

"Okay but why?" I pouted

"What we need to talk about is a little...." he began

"Okay... But who are they going to stay with?"

"Oh, Ryeowook said he was going to take care of them with Donghae and Kyuhyun"

"Can I..."

"Yes you can trust them, don't worry, those guys love kids. Ryeowook can make them lunch, Donghae will treat them like a friend, he’s like a child himself, Kyuhyun, if need be, can put them to sleep with his singing" Hyuk said all at once leaving me a bit speechless

I hesitated about leaving my precious babies with them but in the end I sighed in defeat

"Fine, but if they're hurt, every one of you four will be harmed. Arasso?" I said

"Okay okay" he laughed

I pouted. This is no laughing matter! Hwa and Hae are the world to me!!

"I have to go now, remember be ready by 3:30 we have to drop by the dorm too" he said

"Okay okay" I replied

What could his boss and manager want with me?

It was around 2:30 that I started to get Hwa and Hae ready and by 3:00 both of them were jumping around, super exited to see their uncles when Ryeowook and Kyuhyun came early to pick them up

I had thirty free minutes in my life, I was so bored… Time, why don't you go faster?

Hyuk called me

"I'm outside" he said

I went out and saw a black van standing outside with a familiar man sitting by the window

He opened the door, greeted me and told me to get inside

"This is our manager" Hyuk said

"Anyoughasaeyo" I said bowing as he awkwardly did the same with his head since he was driving

We arrived at the building through the back door, there were too many fans infront of the entrance

I began to panic, what would his boss want with me? I-I'm not ready to go back to modeling though....

I began playing with my fingers unconsciously

Hyuk saw this and he held my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

That was kind of him. Omo but why is my heart beating so fast? Ah- it's the anxiety. Get a grip of yourself lady! Why are you so scared? After all it's not like you killed someone!!

"Minji... Can you breathe?" Hyuk asked me with worry written all over his face

"...huh?" I was confused I nodded realizing what he asked. I was so nervous I held my breath

"Yea I can breathe"

"O-okay"

We walked inside the building, heading straight to the main office. I was scared less to be exact, I didn’t know why but I was. We went in and I saw an old man concentrating on some documents on his table

"You’re here" he said without looking up

"Have a seat you three"

We sat down and waited for the old man to begin speaking

"You’re lee Minji, right?"

"Nae" I answer somehow confidently

"And you’re married to lee Hyukjae am I correct"

I nodded my head "nae"

"Then let's just clarify some things you can and cannot do."

"You will be unable to speak of your relationship to anyone, because if fans find out, you're better left for the dead because those fans can go crazy"

"N-nae" I nodded remembering my own fans

He spoke some more, saying things like how I can't leave the house at the same time as Hyuk, And that my children shouldn't go off saying anything about their daddy and what not because in the end it'll only hurt him

"Oh and I had some of my men do a background check"

"Nae?" I asked

"Hmm... Interesting... You were a model for ELLE, not a big one but not a small one, why'd you leave the spot light"

"... I wanted to take care of my children"

"I've seen some pictures, and I think that with our help, you can definitely shine, what do you think? Do you want to continue modeling?" he said

"N-no thank you" I replied

"I see. Well I hope you reconsider this offer, it's open to you for a while so come back soon" he said and had us exit the room

I sighed in relief entering the van with the two others

We went to pick Hwa and Hae up but when I knocked on the door no one replied so I was really nervous

"Donghae? Ryeowook? Kyuhyun?" I asked

"Anyone?"

"Do you have a key?" I asked

"Yea" he said pulling out some keys

He opened the door; both of us were welcomed with silence

"Kyu, Wook, Hae were home"

We looked through some rooms and finally came across hyuk's old room. We slowly opened the door, revealing with a sleeping Donghae and Kyuhyun on the sides of Hwa and Hae. Donghae woke up after Hyuk poked him. We ended up taking Hwa and haw home since a of them had to go to work

"I'm going back to work" Hyuk said

"Okay"

I was left alone in the house with nothing to do
