Chapter 06

Just as Jaejoong had an idea who the mastermind is, he felt his phone vibrate in his hands. “Minho-yah, I’m putting it on a two-way call, ok? This must be the kidnappers.” He didn’t hear anything from the other side so he proceeded and talked to the caller.

“I know you’re smart enough to know who I am. You wouldn’t bring anyone along with you, right?” He heard an evil laugh from the other side. “You don’t want anyone killed. You know where to find me. Come here fast if you still want to see---“

Soojin’s pained grunts rang in their ears. Minho clenched his fists and forced himself to keep quiet. He needed all information he can take. All information will be valuable enough.

“--- this pretty little Soojin.” That was all the voice said before it hung up. Jaejoong remained still. By Minho’s uneven breathing, he can say the boy is mad.

“Hyung… I wa---“

“No Minho. I know what you’re thinking. It won’t be a good idea to come with me. I know him. He’s smart. He’s heartless. And he will kill you.” Jaejoong cut his dongsaeng’s words off. He hung up and walked into his closet.

It didn’t take much long before he got himself prepared. He wore thick bullet-proof vests and brought with him his prized .22 magnum mini revolver. They won’t notice it because of its relatively small size. He jogged his way to the basement where his Ferrari 458 Italia was parked. He didn’t waste any more time in going to his old home now turned into a syndicate headquarters.
