Chapter 7

Female Highschool Undercover
+++++++++++

Dinner had been such a pleasant time for both men. Yunho was filled with praises for Jaejoong's cooking skills while the young officer couldn't help but blush and chuckle heartily at the teen's compliments. After they were done eating, both men decided to have a few drinks. Jaejoong went to the living room and chose a good movie to watch from Yunho's DVD collection while the other man prepared the alcohol from the fridge.

Once they were settled comfortably, the male bonding, as what Jaejoong pointed out began. Time went by quite fast. They conversed about anything that came to mind. They shared their likes, dislikes, hobbies and the their dreams for the future. Jaejoong didn't bother to hide his surprise that Yunho's career path was to be a cop.

"Ever since I was young, I've always been fascinated with police movies." Yunho murmured while resting his head on the living room couch's headrest. The room was dark save for the light coming from the TV monitor flickering shadows around them. Jaejoong was beside him, their hazy gazes locked as they sat side by side and shoulder to shoulder, a small gap separating their faces. The atmosphere was relaxed and somewhat intimate.

Jaejoong smiled and snuggled comfortably against Yunho's side, a lazy smile decorating his lips. Amidst the haze from the alcohol, Yunho blearily concluded that Jaejoong was quite the cuddler when he was drunk. Not that he was complaining of course. He grinned goofily. He liked being cuddled up with Jaejoong.

Yunho stirred a little and soon Jaejoong felt a strong arm wound around his left shoulder. He giggled.

"Mhmm, it was really awesome when they throw bad guys to prison. I wanted to be like them." Yunho slurred.

"Cops rule." Jaejoong said snickering. "So... what do you think about the cops protecting me?" He asked as he laughed and grinned. "You know, since they've been nothing but annoying ers ever since we met."

"ers?" Yunho snickered as well and stole a quick kiss from Jaejoong's mouth. "Not really."

"Ei? What d'you mean Yunho ah?" Jaejoong asked with a cute questioning frown.

Yunho downed the soju in his hand. "It's not like they ever were able to stop us from what we wanted to do."

"Ha!" Jaejoong suddenly remarked as he sat up straight, before falling against Yunho's chest again. "That is so trueeee. They didn't even know about what happened between us this afternoon at the school rooftop. ers."

Jaejoong giggled again and this time, Yunho joined him.

"Man, I feel woozy." Jaejoong wobbly said after a while, hand resting on his head. The room was spinning a little.

"You're drunk." Yunho pointed out laughing.

"So are you." Jaejoong shot back, and groaned. "Ngh, I feel so hot. I think I'm ."

Beside him, the glass in Yunho's hand fell to the rug. He scooted closer to Jaejoong, fingers creeping up under his shirt. A soft moan of approval left the young officer's lips when he felt warm hands his middle. Palming Yunho's cheek, Jaejoong aimed for that amazing mouth, catching the rose petals in a searing kiss.

Yunho kissed him back with as much fervor, hand drifting upwards towards Jaejoong's left as he rolled it against his thumb, eliciting a whimper of need from the other man. "Nrrn, Yunho ah. Please. me?"

The other's answer was a dangerous growl and Jaejoong was only too happy, giggling in drunken glee when he was pushed to his back with Yunho's tongue inside his mouth and those expert hands down his pants.

"Ugh. . My head ing hurts. Yunho get off me!" Jaejoong grumbled as he shook the body practically crushing him to the couch. Looking to the side, empty bottles of soju littered the glass table in front of them and Jaejoong ended up mentally smacking himself in the head as memories began pouring in. He and Yunho didn't even get to the part of getting rid of their clothes before they passed out. On the ing couch.

"Mhhhm, five more minutes." Yunho groaned in his sleep, burrowing his face deeper into Jaejoong's chest.

Jaejoong who was somewhat already pissed having woken up at the wrong side of bed, or in this case the couch, smacked Yunho hard on the head which had the younger man shooting up from his position on top of Jaejoong's body, yelping both from the pain of the other man's fist and the upcoming hangover.

"Ow Jae! My head!" Yunho groaned painfully and fell on his behind on the wooden floor, fingers nearly rooting the scalp of his hair, grimacing. "What the hell did you hit me for?"

Jaejoong didn't answer and stared up at the ceiling with a pained expression. He felt like he was run over by a speeding truck and dragged along for miles. His body ached everywhere especially his torso down to his thighs which had the bad luck of being directly under Yunho's dead weight. Looking to the side, he glared at the younger man. "Why did you have to sleep on me?" Jaejoong bemoaned in misery. "Oh God, I don't think I can get up."

But of course, Jaejoong was merely exaggerating. He had far greater pain tolerance than that.

After gulping down a few painkillers to ease down their pounding headaches, Jaejoong said a brief goodbye to Yunho before going back to his own apartment room and began doing his morning ritual.

He took a bath, cooked breakfast, ate (which he shared with Yunho, Junsu and Yoochun when they went to his room for food) and changed into his school uniform. By the time that he was done and limped towards the front door, upon opening the wooden obstacle, Yoochun and Junsu confronted him.

"You've been limping the whole morning." Yoochun stated as a matter of factly.

Jaejoong groaned and turned around. "I know geez. Thanks for reminding me. But no! It's not what you think alright? Nothing happened between me and Yunho. Nada. The kid slept on me. That was about it."

"Why do you always sound like an overprotective father to his daughter?" Junsu asked, lightly smacking his partner in the chest. He walked over to Jaejoong. "We know. Don't worry about it. Anyway, here's a transmitter."

Jaejoong looked at the earrings on Junsu's open palm. "Let me guess. Changmin sent this?"

"It's just an added precautionary method. Keep this with you always." Junsu said and handed Jaejoong the lock designed earring. "And don't forget to give this to Yunho too." He added, handing him the key designed one.

"Wait." Jaejoong said and examined the jewel. "Are you kidding me? This is a couple earring."

"It's both a couple earring and a transmitter." Yoochun pointed out with an audible sigh. "We need to guard him 24/7. Yunho wouldn't think twice of saying no if you gave him a thing that only couples wear. It also would go well with your supposed status, considering you have the girlfriend/boyfriend image in school now."

Jaejoong did tell them over breakfast about how he and Yunho were officially pretending to date.

"So let me get this straight." Jaejoong began, directing them with wary eyes as he felt a sinking sensation in his stomach. "You'll be listening in on every conversation that we're gonna be having when you're not with us?"

"Pretty much." Junsu said with an almost teasing smile. "Along with every moan and every groan Jaejoong ah."

Jaejoong flushed. He was really beginning to think that behind that innocent facade Junsu was a big closet ert.

"Anyway, be sure to come early tonight. We have a date with the tattooist." Yoochun butted in.

"Ei? A tattooist?" Jaejoong asked in bewilderment. What did they need to go to a tattooist for?

"I'm just asking here but has Yunho seen your back? As in you know, when he's pounding into -- "

"What? No!" Jaejoong quickly denied, looking at Junsu like he's grown a second head.

"So, you haven't had yet?" Yoochun asked this time.

He turned to Yoochun. "I just said that we didn't!"

"Good then."

"Why?"

"Because Jae, in order to go with the fake background that we invented, and I believe that it'll only be a matter of time before Yunho saw you fully ." Jaejoong turned bright red and glared at his friends. But it didn't seem to have any effect. "You're going to be having a gang's family crest tattooed on your back." Jaejoong's mouth fell open at what Yoochun's statement implied. "Don't worry. It's just temporary ink of course."

+++++

Well what do you know, Yoochun and Junsu were right. Yunho didn't question the gift that he gave and was more than ecstatic to be wearing the earring the second Jaejoong handed it to him. He even asked Jaejoong to put it on him personally while grinning that stupid smile of his again. Well, fine. He had a gorgeous smile.

And Jaejoong couldn't help but smile himself when the other man put his own earring to his ear and even bit the soft lobe that had the young officer into a fit of giggles as he tried to get away. They were at the school's parking space and some passing students were giving them envious looks. "Yah! Stop Yunho-ah that tickles."

"You know you like it." Yunho teased and held him by the waist, preventing him from going on any further.

"Yah! Let me go." Jaejoong laughed harder as Yunho continued to place playful nips to his ear. "Ahhh!

The disciplinarian passed by and was instantly yelling at them to go to their classrooms. In a heartbeat, Yunho and Jaejoong stopped in their little fun moment and sobered. They looked at each other and snickered. Jaejoong reached out and the key earring, before his gaze shifted to Yunho's eyes. "It looks good on you."

"So do you." Yunho said, grinning like a lunatic. But then his facial expression turned serious when a thought occurred to him. He noticed that since that morning's breakfast, Jaejoong had been having difficulty walking.

Seeing as they were too absorbed with each other just moments before, it also completely missed their notice that a few students from the newspaper club were hiding behind a parked car, listening in to their conversation.

"I'm really sorry about last night. I didn't mean to collapse on top of you." Yunho apologized.

Jaejoong waved him off. "It's fine. I understand. How's your hip? You were complaining about it earlier."

"Ahh, it's fine now. Still a bit sore though. How about you?" Yunho worriedly asked. "Still limping?"

"A bit. My thighs and my chest are hurting in particular." Jaejoong said and sighed. "My fault anyway since I was the one that lost control. We shouldn't have done that on the couch. There was so little space to move around."

Yunho chuckled and pulled him close. "Don't worry. I'll make sure we make good use of my bed tonight." He leaned down and kissed Jaejoong's cherry red lips as the lovely couple slowly made their way towards class.

"Omo! Omo! Did you guys get that? Loud and clear?" The newspaper club's president quietly whispered to his co-members wide eyed. She took the small recording machine and rewind the little conversation that they had witnessed. "They were talking about . So it really is true!" Her forehead etched into a scowl. "What a ."

Morning class went by smoothly and when it was already time for lunch, more than half of the male students were watching Yunho in insane jealousy. Who wouldn't? That guy must have saved the country in his past life for having an angel beside him almost all hours of the day. It was already a known fact at school that Jaejoong and Yunho lived next door, thanks a lot to Siwon's big mouth. And now, Jaejoong was even feeding him.

"You're a ing jerk and I hate you." Siwon grumbled, scowling at his bestfriend, aggravated.

Yunho merely stuck his tongue out and took a bite from the chigae that Jaejoong placed by his mouth.

"Why you little." Siwon was positively fuming and was about to give Yunho a good smacking in the head when Jaejoong's eyes shifted to him, threatening to cut choice parts of his anatomy if he ever laid a hand on Yunho.

"That's not fair!" Siwon said aghast. "Why do you always have to defend him?"

"Easy." Jaejoong replied as he placed the chopsticks down and laid his head on Yunho's shoulder, hands circling around his strong arms, acting like a completely smitten girl. "Yunho oppa is my one and only Siwon-sshi."

"You know that's one more thing!"

Jaejoong blinked innocently. ""What is?"

"Why do you only call him oppa and not me? We're at least friends right? So I'm your oppa too."

"Give it a rest Siwon." Yunho drawled. "Jaejoong only has the eyes and heart for me. Deal with it."

Siwon pouted and began to sulk.

Jaejoong pulled back from Yunho's arm and suddenly said in all excitement. "Anyway oppa! The principal said I'm going to be looking for a club to join to this afternoon. You will accompany me right? Right?"

"Of course." Yunho positively beamed. "Anything for my Jaejoongie."

Hyori who had been silent all the while inserted a finger into and fake gagged, pulling Yunho's attention back to her again. "Bitter lesbian." Yunho silently murmured. Though inside, he felt sorry for her.

"Shut up." Hyori retorted heatedly. "And I'm not bitter. You want Jaejoong? Fine, she's yours. I can take a hint. But just please tone down the mushyness. You're just so sickeningly sweet it's nauseating."

"Bitter." Siwon nodded his head solemly.

"What the... I told you I'm not!" Hyori said, hitting him on the back with her sharp knuckles.

"Ow! Woman! That ing hurt!" Siwon protested and tried to catch her flailing hands. "Yah! Yah! Stop it."

Jaejoong sighed at the scene and shrugged. "You know, you look good together. Why don't you just hook up?"

Siwon and Hyori abruptly stopped in their mild wrestling match and glared at Jaejoong. "No way!"

"Hey chill. I was just saying." Jaejoong said flinching as he slid down in his chair.

Yunho wrapped a protective arm around him and glared ten times darker at his friends. "Grow up you two."

++++++++

One week later

Jaejoong was getting impatient with Yunho's appa. It's been a week since he was enrolled in this school and they haven't found even just a shadow of the kid's father. He didn't even bother to check if his son was safe.

And truth be told, he was getting ing guilty with each passing day. Yunho had been nothing but a perfect boyfriend to him. They went out to dates. He accompanied him whenever he wanted something to buy. They had mindblowing every other night and even had a few quickies at school whenever they were on breaks.

In short, Jaejoong felt like he was starting to forget that this was a mission he was on and not his own high school life drama. Plus, he hated the fact that he was getting too emotional lately. At first it had been an act. He acted like a jealous girlfriend. He got mad whenever boys and girls alike flock around Yunho. He pouted and acted insecure if Yunho sometimes spent more time in dance rehearsals than him. (They both got accepted to the music club and everybody was immediately in awe of Yunho's apparently inborn dancing skills.)

But right now, it wasn't just an act at all. This anger, this stupid thing called jealousy that rears it's ugly head out in the open whenever both male and female students try to act all cute and coy around Yunho; It was all real!

And Jaejoong hated every minute of it. He just wanted this assignment to end. Argh! Damn Changmin!

During that Tuesday afternoon, Jaejoong went out of class for a bathroom break. After he was done emptying his bladder, he went to the faucet, turned it on and washed his hands. Jaejoong forlornly sighed. "Ugh, why me?"

Against his will, Jaejoong had been using the girl's bathroom ever since a week ago. It was unnerving whenever he came in. Of course no one knew that he was a guy, but it didn't change the fact that everytime he used the girl's bathroom, he felt like there was a huge sign on his forehead spelling out ert in bold capital letters.

Jaejoong abruptly looked up when he heard footsteps coming from the bathroom entrance. Five to eight female students came walking in, appearing all high and mighty. Jaejoong inwardly cringe. It made him uncomfortable being around so many girls in a closed space. Quickly wiping his hands dry of his handkerchief, Jaejoong turned and quickly made his way out. But a hand gripped him by the arm, preventing him from going any further.

"Where do you think you're going Jaejoong? Not even going to say hi to unnie?"

Jaejoong looked at the girl, knowing her as the leader of the girl gang inside school called Black Roses. Not again, he inwardly thought and jerked his arm away. He never told Yunho about this but ever since the news of him and Yunho being official spread throughout campus, Jaejoong had been targeted by threats left and right.

Fortunately, it had only been threats from normal es that though of Jaejoong as a thieving . No thanks to the newspaper club's demented article labeling Jaejoong as a cheap that gives her body to just about anyone. It got Yunho in a fit of rage for a few days until he completely calmed down, thanks to his gentle coaxing.

But now, this was the first time that Jaejoong was actually approached by the gang leader herself. In the past few days, there had been only the glares and the notes left on his locker from these Black Roses es, telling him to leave Yunho or ELSE they were going to do something to him that he'll surely regret.

Jaejoong really hoped that these brats wouldn't do anything to him that would force him to fight back because really, the last thing he wanted to do was beat the crap out of girls... let alone highschool teenagers. He looked down at the bats in their hands and gulped. These kind of scenarios were supposed to only happen in movies.

But even so, Jaejoong was a cop. And he could fight way better than these wanna be tough highschool girls. But there was also another reality to that. Yes he was a police officer and he knew that he shouldn't fight, under any circumstances female teenagers that were obviously just going through a phase. His life at the moment.

"If this is about Yunho again. I'm telling you, we're not going to break up no matter what. So save your breath." Jaejoong's eyes narrowed and spat the word. "Unnie." Why did his pretend boyfriend have to be so hot? Aish.

"Yah! You dare desrespect Ara-unnie huh? Apologize right now!" One of the girls yelled at Jaejoong's face.

"Chill down dongsaeng. No need to yell." Ara told her cronies and lifted Jaejoong's chin smugly. She examined his face before letting him go with a forceful push and scoffed. "I just don't see what Yunho saw in you."

"At least he saw me." Jaejoong replied as he looked at Ara like she had the same importance as that of an amoeba. "But you? I'm sorry to say this. But Yunho oppa?" His eyes turned cold. "He doesn't know you exist."

Ara's face morphed into an ugly scowl and for a second Jaejoong mentally kicked himself for getting too much in character when the bat in Ara's hand nearly made contact with his face. It hit the tiles causing for a huge crack in the wall as the other girls closed in on him. Jaejoong ducked low and sprinted out of the girl's bathroom with Ara's shrieking voice following right behind. "Get that right now! Yunho is mine!"

". Someone has anger management issues." Jaejoong gained speed as he ran faster, inwardly cursing Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin all over again for making him wear such a short skirt. "!"
