Description
When General Choi drafted a plan to overthrow the current king, it was destined that no one would be able to get out of this turmoil, alter their destiny.
TWO marriages, threw the FOUR into a world when they first experience love, pain, jealousy, hatred.
At the end of the day, they realise that nothing is far more important than the one they love, not even the throne...
A story set in the Chosun times, involving:
General Choi and his family:
Choi Minho: he vows to help his father Choi Siwon achieve his aims to overthrow the current King.
Choi Jinri: her goal is to become the next Queen.
Prince Lee and his family:
Lee Jinki: he aims to become the next King, but when the person he loves has disappeared…
Lee Taemin: loyal to the King more than his family. He sacrificed himself to marry Jinri.
Prince Jung and his family:
Jung Sooyeon: when she was arranged to marry Minho, she eloped with Heechul.
Jung Soojung: married Minho in place of Sooyeon.
The Royal King Kim and his family:
Kim Heechul: he gave up his title of ‘Crown Prince’ and eloped with Sooyeon.
Kim Jongin: he then became the next ‘Crown Prince’. He took a liking for JInri.
And other characters:
Kim Jonghyun: the King’s young trusted advisor. He likes Soojung.
Park Sunyoung: a normal peasant that fell for Jinki?

Foreword
“Reporting to the King, our soldiers…” Siwon took in a deep breath, “our soldiers have lost the fight for the land of Tungsu.”
“Good for nothing! General Choi, this is your 3rd failed attempt. Do you have anything to say?” King Taein shouted at Siwon.
“Yes my King. Our soldiers need the resources and funding for training, but…”
“General Choi, I have already given you the capital. It’s a matter of whether you are able to use it efficiently. So get down and train your soldiers!” King Taein continued to shout at him.
Siwon frowned as he stared at the expenses for the soldiers’ training. This mediocre amount of money can do nothing for the soldiers! He thought to himself as he yelled at King Taein in his imagination. Of course in reality he could not do that. He was King Taein while he is… nobody compared to the almighty King.
“Honey,” a tall and slim figure entered the room, “this lavender tea can help you calm your nerves.”
“Thanks darling.”
“How was the state affair today?” Sooyoung sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“As usual,” Siwon sighed as he replied.
“Only if the King is replaced by someone else…” Sooyoung complained.
“Darling, beware of what you’re saying.” Siwon cautioned.
“Alright, you’re going to say we women have no saying over this. Just take care alright. I don’t want to see you being worn out.” Sooyoung stood up and left the room.
However, Sooyoung’s words keep ringing in his mind.
What if the King is replaced by someone else? Such as… He thought of the two Princesses of Chosun and their accompanying Princes. Or what if our Choi family could do something that enables us to not get bullied over by any royalty again?
Then an idea came into his mind.
