Kris sat with his elbows on the table looking a crossed at Suho, with his arms crossed tightly against his chest. He had seen this coming and frankly it was too soon to be talking about this. Most of the members have just come into their powers some of them on the other hand hadn’t. Suho on the other hand felt as though it was important enough to press forward with a planned search.

“Kris you know I am right.” Suho’s voice came out a little harshly as he leaned forward trying to get his attention only to fail. Kris wasn’t going to hear him out no matter how much he persisted.  His gaze was on the floor beside him, brows knitted, and his mouth twisted. It wasn’t until Luhan’s gentle hand touched his shoulder that he even looked up from the spot. He had forgotten that he was even in the room.

“Please just hear him out, you know he has a point..” Luhan started until Kris’s harsh eyes landed on him causing him to slightly freeze before he continued.  His soft features hopfully having some sort of effect on Kris “You know that continueing like we are is going to cause stress more than keeping the harmony that we have.”

“Luhan you really think we should bring human girls into our lives? Do you even think that is safe?” Kris asked his brow lifting quizzically at him.

“It’s our best shot for happiness and you know it.” Suho cut in as Luhans mouth dropped to say something.

“How do you even know it is?” Kris spat at him forgetting all too well that Suho had been in this world longer than he has.

“Having relations with other Gods only causes damage. Look what happened to the three members that had to leave TVXQ they choose to become human for three Goddesses and they tossed them aside like a bag of trash. Then they started on SUJU, SHINee, and tried for some of us. Honestly, Kris finding our other halves are mostly likely the safest route.” Suho stated catching Kris completely off guard.

“He doesn’t want to give up Tao and Chanyeol” Luhan sighed looking down at his coke the ice cubes has melted from Kris’s heat causing him to stir it in disappointment.

“Tch” kris’s upper lip twitched as Luhan pressed his hand onto Kris’s upper thigh catching his attention and causing him to stiffen. Luhan’s soft nature had some effect on him but it was Lay who could really push him into things yet he would but never let them know that.

“Kris you can still have them but it doesn’t help to look because we both know that we all can’t really be together in that way wit-“

“Fine.” Kris stated standing up quickly and heading towards the door walking out quickly making sure that the others wouldn’t be able to make him pause even if they wanted too.

“Why don’t I have you talk to him more often?” Suho asked as his brows came in an each other his weight slumping back in his chair.

“Because you want to be a leader of great strength. But, it’s not me you should have talk to him.” Luhan commented with a slight smile.

Xiumin and Kai were leaning in the hallway just outside of the room Kris and the others were in listening carefully. As Kris stormed by they eyed each other and Kai’s all-knowing smirk played a crossed his face causing Xiumin to narrow his eyes and raise a brow at him. They had been outside the room listening to the three talk about their plans for the search.  The two found it interesting at how resistant Kris was being which was unusual.

“Kris is hiding something else.” Kai said rolling on his shoulder to push off the wall and shove his hands into his pockets.

“What would that be?” Xiumin asked watching him step backwards from him.

“I have an idea..” Kai said slyly his lips twitching his finger laying over his lips in a hushing manner as he watched Xiumin’s mouth drop open taking another step backwards he disappeared in a cloud of black dust causing him to close his mouth and pout slightly. That was one thing he didn’t like about Kai he was mysterious and always left him to figure things out for himself.  

Kai stepped into Lays room who was reading a book and hadn’t noticed him come in the room. It was one thing he enjoyed about his power he could go anywhere he pleased at anytime. He also knew almost everything that was going on but he never let anyone else know that. He liked being ahead of everyone and planning his next steps accordingly. He leaned against the wall watching Lay turn a page in his book.

“What’s Kris hiding?” Kai asked after a few minutes of silence causing Lay to slightly jump and look up from his book. His face carefully blank.

“What are you talking about?” Lay questioned softly setting his book aside.

“You know what I am talking about.” Kai stated raising a brow at him his eyes moving to a colder state.

“But I don’t.” Lay stated back his face never wavering and his voice staying steady.

“Why would Kris be so against the search for our other halves?” Kai asked him carefully not giving anything away. Seeing Lay blink and scrunch his brows together set him back five steps. Kris and Lay talked to each other a lot. He was sure that Lay would be the one to know and if not him Chanyeol or Tao.. Possibly Luhan. But Lay was for sure the one he thought that would be..

“If he’s hiding something you thought he would say something to me didn’t you?” Lay asked him carefully causing him to snap out of his thoughts.

“I thought you might know” Kai said back carefully as they eye each other sizing each other with their eyes carefully.

“I don’t know Kai. If I was hiding anything I wouldn’t even tell anyone.” Lay sighed picking his book up and looking down at his page trying to find were he left off.

Tao flopped down next to Baekhyun nearly out of breath as Chanyeol slid down the wall opposite of  them. The two had been sparing for hours against each other. Baekhyun had been watching them carefully along with Sehun who was playing a game on his phone.

“Do you really think that we can find out other halves?” Baekhyun asked as Tao slid his arm around the boys shoulders pulling him into his side. Sehun put his phone down looking up at baekhyun his head had been on his thigh for a good two hours. He was comfortable and wasn’t going to move at all.

“We should be able to do so” This coming from Sehun as he frowned at the 20% message that his phone beeped at him.

“Some of us need that other half to balance us out, to live, or even to have our abilities.” This coming a breathless Chanyeol from the other side of the room his ponytail gluing its self to the wall behind him.

“You mean our other hidden ability.” Baekhyun said resting his head on Taos shoulder who was remaining silent.

“Yeah that.” Chanyeol replied back bringing his knees up to rest his forearms on his knees.

“We have to wait until our leaders are in agreement though..” Sehun said more like mumbled but Baekhyun and Tao both caught it.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Baekhyun asked looking down at Sehun only for Tao’s voice to cut in.

“Kris gege..”  Everyone blinked at him before following his gaze to the door with a faced Kris leaning against the door frame.

Chen sat calmly with D.O who was leafing through a magazine about cooking his chin was propped on his palm as Luhan walked in with Suho not too far behind. Chen’s eyes went to the two as they sat down in unison Suho giving off a sigh which caused DO to snap his large dark eyes from the page he had found.

“What’s wrong?” DO asked tilting his head slightly as Luhans lips twitched in a slight smile.

“Kris is being difficult again.” Suho stated as he watched DO get up to pour him a cup of coffee Chen staying in place.

“He doesn’t want to go forward with the plan still?” Chen asked curiously his arms folding onto the table top.

“Yeah something like that. I think he might be hiding something…”  Suho said side glancing at Luhan as DO came back sitting a fresh up of coffee in front of him.

“Luhan you wouldn’t know what that would be would you?” DO asked knowing that they have been trying for over half a year to get him to allow them to go forward with their plans.

“I’m afraid not.” Luhan said softly looking at Chen who snapped his eyes back to his hands causing him to arch a brow.

“Do you know Chen?” This coming from DO causing him to look up from his hands and shake his head.

“No I don’t talk to him that much.” Chen admitted as he snatched the magazine from DO. “If I did know I would tell you.”

“This can pose a problem.” Suho came out to say rubbing his temple with his left hand sipping his coffee with his right. Luhans mouth twisted as he focused on fixing himself tea without moving. He succeeded with lifting and pours the hot tae kettle into a cup with a tea bag. The next thing he focused on was the sugar carefully pouring it into the cup. His eyebrows scrunched together as the cup was making its way half way to the table before bursting in a million tiny pieces causing him to sigh.

“Can? It’s already a problem.” This coming from Kai none of them knew he was even in the room his voice causing three out of the four boys to jump. The only one not to would be DO who leaned back in his chair as Kai wrapped his arms around the other resting his chin on top of his head. “Seeing Luhans tae explode would be one reason to push forward.”

“What are you thinking Kai?” DO asked not moving as the other three had their eyes on him.

“I can figure out what he’s hiding and get him to consent.” Kai suggested

“Or we can have a meeting and out vote him” Chen suggested causing the four others to look at him. Chen was a logical thinker and seeing that his suggestion was less dark than kai’s the two older males looked at each other.

“It wouldn’t hurt.” Luhan said with the tilt of his head as he thought about it.
