Chapter 15- The Cheesy Couple's First Night

(All POV)

 

“Thank you for lending me your sleep-clothes to wear Yul.” Yoona said while twirling around in small circles. She was wearing an oversized, long-sleeved shirt with a pair of teal pajama shorts.

“No problem but hey, why are you spinning around?”

“To test if this long-sleeved shirt is a dress!” Yoona continues to spin like a top. “And by spinning around, the bottom end fans out a little so therefore it is a dress!”

“Yoong!” Yuri laughed. “That’s your definition of a dress?”

“Of course!” Yoona smiled brightly, holding her hands out towards Yuri. “Come! Let’s see if your shirt is a dress too!”

 

Earlier, Yuri changed her clothes into a pajama set of a dark, navy tank top with long fleecy bottoms. It stuck to her curves well, not showing any signs of bagginess like Yoona’s oversized sweater.

 

“But I don’t think it will work Yoong-” But Yuri was cut off shortly when Yoona just grabbed her hands, forcing her to spin as well.

“You don’t know if it is true unless you try to prove it otherwise right?” Yoona giggled, holding onto Yuri’s hands tightly as they both spun in crazy circles.

“I guess that’s true.” Yuri agreed but continued to laugh at the high creativity mind of Im Yoona. “But the bottom end of my top is not fanning out! Plus this would be too short of a dress.” 

“Really? Then would it be a sin for girls to commit if their dress is too short?” Yoona titled her head while still spinning them around energetically. “But when I was walking to home the other day, I saw all these girls wearing dresses like yours coming out from a building full of lights and steam!”

“Eh?”

“Yeah! So they must be all committing sins!” Yoona nodded her head in happiness, finally knowing an answer to one of her many strange questions.

“Well I guess so…”

“Wait why are we still spinning?”

“Eh? To test out if our tops are dresses remember?”

“Oh! Since we already know our answers let’s stop now!”

 

Finally stopping the wild tornado of Im Yoona, contrast to Yuri, Yoona was still spinning around in circles. Only they were small, hazy circles as Yoona tried to recover from her spinning disaster.

 

“Ah my head is throbbing so much now!” Yoona whined, rubbing her forehead while trying to maintain her balance.

“Whoa Yoong!” Yuri said as Yoona crashed her face straight into Yuri’s chest. “Well that’s what happens if you spin too much silly.” She chuckled. “Are you okay now?”

Yoona replied with a nod. “It still hurts but I am much better now because of you Yul.” Her voice was muffled as she snuggled her face more into Yuri’s chest, now smiling with ease.

 “There There...” She patted on the doe-eyed girl’s head. “Is the pain going away yet?”

 

The doe-eyed girl’s heart was beating out of control when she felt the Yuri’s hand on her head. Her hands were clutching onto Yuri’s tank top to stay closely attached to her body.

 

“Uh-huh it is working so well!”

She is so cute. Yuri blushed. “Now you know that next time you don’t spin too much okay?”

“…But it is so much fun Yul…”

“Yoong.” Her voice became sterner.

“Yes ma’am! I won’t next time!”

 

Yuri was about to let go of Yoona right then only Yoona shook her head quickly, clinging onto her body like a koala.

 

“Please do it for a little longer.” She begged cutely. “It still hurts.”

 

And after falling under the spell of Im Yoona, Yuri spent even more time comforting Yoona’s head by patting, ruffling and brushing down her fawn-like hair to which Yoona responded with a small hum each time. Because they would spent more time like that, they both moved to sit down on a couch. Yoona would be the one who would talk most of the time but Yuri doesn’t mind. While comforting Yoona’s head, Yuri had a smile on her face as she listened and watched Yoona excitedly telling her about a little bit of her interesting life, especially of her two roommates Sooyoung and Tiffany.

 

“Wow you live with two very different people Yoong.”

“I know! Both are really nice but when things go wrong, it’s a disaster!” Yoona threw her hands up to show how much drama goes on at Sooyoung’s (or the watchers’) apartment. “You can’t stop a raging wildfire AND a roaring tsunami!”

 

Yuri chuckled, continuing her deed to comfort Yoona’s head. She could have stopped anytime but she liked comforting Yoona’s head; her hair was so soft.

 

“But I never knew that Tiffany can cry so easily. She just seems so happy all that time with that smile of hers.” Yuri clearly remembered when Tiffany came to visit her flower shop, visiting Yoona with the brightest eye-smile she has never seen from anybody else.

Yoona frowned at Yuri’s sentence. “What smile of hers? You mean her eye-smile? Why? Is it that special?” Suddenly she leaned in more closely towards Yuri, surprising her as she gave her a piercing glare. But it only came out as a cute angry look since nature angels cannot express anger easily.

“Well it’s just that I have never seen that kind of an eye-smile from anyone before.” Yuri said honestly.

 

My eye-smile isn’t that special to you? Yoona sighed dishearteningly, twitching her eyes and as she tried to make a pretty eye-smile.

 

“But eye-smiles aren’t really my thing.”

Yoona suddenly felt a miracle when Yuri had said that sentence. “So what is ‘your’ thing?”

“Well…” Yuri held her chin with her other hand, pretending to be in deep thought. “I really like big doe eyes.”

Yoona widened her doe eyes, fluttering her lashes in mild excitement. “And?”

“Hmm…I like how she looks whenever she laughs because she looks like a cute alligator.”

Yoona gasped. Back home all of her friends would call her Alligator Yoong because she resembled like one so much whenever she laughs. “Is it me?” She pointed at herself.

“Of course it’s you silly!” Yuri chuckled and gave a kiss on top of Yoona’s head. “I like you as you are now. You are perfect the way you are.”

 

Yoona squealed and hid her face in her hands from Yuri’s comment. And after her kiss on her head, her heart wouldn’t stop parading around as it was crashing cymbals from right to left.

 

“Aw Yul, you’re like a goddess to me. And hearing those words to me from a goddess just makes me feel so tingly on the inside.”

“Well that’s what you made me feel earlier when you stopped your phone conversation with Sooyoung just to tell me that I’m beautiful when I came out of the bathroom.” Yuri grinned, liking the moment of blushful Yoona getting K.Oed from her words.

“It was true!  I couldn’t focus because all of the sudden my goddess was standing right in front of me being bare-faced.” Yoona sighed as she recalled the moment back. “Sooyoung unnie was so mad at me for ignoring her.”

“Sooyoung really sounds like a really scary person.” Yuri shivered when she first heard her supersonic voice from Yoona’s phone. “But I’m glad that you called her to let you know where you are.” She began to smile.  “She must have really cared for you since this is her way of showing affection for her friends.

 

[FLASHBACK]

 

While Yoona was waiting for Yuri who was in the bathroom changing and washing her face, her phone suddenly rang.

“Hello?”

 

Before she could even take a breath, a loud blaring voice already beat her to it.

 

“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH”

 

Yoona had to pull the phone away from her ear but after Sooyoung was finished yelling at her, she brought the phone back to her ear again.

 

“Sooyoung unnie!” She answered back happily, not even a bit affected from Sooyoung’s burst.

“WHAT?!”

“Guess what?”

“WHAT?!”

“I’m at my girlfriend’s house~” Yoona sang into her phone.

“WHAT?!”

“Yul is my girlfriend~ She is my lover~ YoonYul forever~ Ooh-“

“STOP SINGING YOONA! YOUR VOICE IS ACTUALLY BREAKING DISHES IN OUR APARTMENT! AND WHO IS YUL?”

“I told you already.” Yoona then whispered into her phone. “Yul is my girlfriend~”

“YAH! I MEANT HER REAL NAME YOU IDIOT!”

“Yoona? Here are your pajamas that you could borrow.” A new voice appeared onto the scene.

 

Yoona dropped wide open when she saw Yuri walking out of her bathroom. Bare-faced, Yuri was wearing her navy blue tank top with long bottoms. She looked simple but to Yoona she looked like a walking goddess.

 

“HELLO? HELLO? WHO WAS THAT THAT JUST TALKED?”

“Yoong? Oh you are on your phone with someone? Sorry I’ll be quiet.”

 

But when Yuri saw Yoona’s face expression at her appearance, she immediately covered her face in embarrassment.

 

“Is it bad? Sorry…It’s just that I have been living alone here for a long time so I’m always so comfortable being like this-“

 

But her voice stopped when she saw Yoona walking towards her; she had already muted Sooyoung on the phone.

After walking closer to Yuri, she gently pulled her hands away from her face and smiled genuinely in front of her.

 

“Don’t be embarrassed about yourself. Always be comfortable around me because that’s when you are the most beautiful to me.” She laid a kiss on Yuri’s forehead, then on her nose, and then finally on her lips. “Okay?”

 

Yuri only blushed from Yoona’s affection. How was it possible for an innocent choding like Yoona to be such a romantic person?

 

“Okay…” Her cheeks were glowing rosy red. “Yoong you’re such a sweet talker.”

Yoona grinned. “All what I’m saying about you is only the truth though.” She took in a breath, smelling Yuri’s fresh flowery scent from their closeness. “Now back to business.”

 

As soon as she unmuted Sooyoung on her phone, the loud bickering voice came again with no hesitation.

 

“SERIOUSLY?! INSTEAD OF HANGING UP ON ME YOU HAD TO MUTE ME SO YOU AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND COULD HAVE A LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR CONVERSATION? SERIOUSLY THAT WAS SO CRUEL OF YOU!”

“Sorry unnie.” Yoona gave a glance to Yuri. “It was just that Yuri was so beautiful at the moment that I had to tell her that or else I would just be thinking about her constantly instead of listening to you.”

“Yah.” Yuri squealed at Yoona’s cheesiness. “You are more of a cheesy person than a sweet talker.”

“Wait I’m cheesy? What does that mean?” Yoona widened her eyes in confusion as if there was a big floating question mark above her head.

“PUKE! YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE ME PUKE!”

“Puke? Sooyoung unnie are you sick?” Her question mark seemed to get bigger and bigger. “Oh no! Hurry and go to the bathroom to puke there! And then after that try to find a bucket before you go to bed! It’s better to puke there instead of rushing to our bathroom-“

“Yoong! Sooyoung is fine. She’s just saying it, not doing it.” Yuri calmed down the worried doe-eyed girl by hugging her from behind; it was super effective. “And calling you cheesy means that you are too much of a sweet talker because it’s kind of cliché.”

“Huh?”

“Like for example, ‘I thought happiness started with an H. Why does mine start with U?’”

“Aww I get it.” Yoona blushed; her question mark above her head had gotten a lot smaller now. “That was really cute though. I guess I really like cheesy stuff then. Yul I’m your cheesy lover~”

“PUKE! PUKE!!!”

“But Yul, why does Sooyoung unnie keep on saying puke if she is not going to do it?”

“It’s just an expression to your cheesiness. Some people don’t like cheesiness so they tend to respond negatively to it.”

“YEAH LISTEN TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND! GOOD THING SHE’S SMART AND IS OKAY WITH YOUR WEIRDNESS!” Sooyoung sighed, already giving herself an hundredth slap to her red forehead. “YOU’RE SO CHEESY THAT YOU JUST WANT ME TO PUKE ALL OVER THE PLACE EXCEPT I WON’T!”

“Oh! That was a metaphor!” Yoona’s question mark disappeared when she finally got what Sooyoung unnie and Yuri was saying. “So if Sooyoung unnie doesn’t like my cheesiness, what about you?” She looked over to Yuri with her big doe eyes. “You don’t like my cheesiness?”

“No Yoong I actually love it!” Yuri confessed, not wanting to hurt Yoona. “It’s one of many reasons why I fell in love with you.”

“Really?!”

“REALLY?!”

“Uh-huh.” Yuri chuckled and kissed on top of Yoona’s nose. “Because of you I never get tired of you because you always make me smile and laugh so much.”

“Because I like making you happy Yul!” Yoona giggled. “But I gave you three kisses and you only gave me one.” She pouted. “I think I need two more for us to be equal then.”

Yuri once again fell as a victim to her girlfriend’s pouts, only giving her a smile before leaning towards her lips. “I guess that’s fair enough-“

“HEY! CHEESEY COUPLE! I AM STILL HERE YOU KNOW!”

 

The YoonYul couple groaned at the intrusion. Before they could kiss and cuddle more with each other, they first have to deal with the fiery girl on the other line of Yoona’s phone.

 

“Hello? Sooyoung-ssi?” Yuri spoke to Yoona’s phone, still hugging her girlfriend from behind.

“YES?”

“I’m Kwon Yuri, an owner of Secret Garden. Yoona is one of my employees there and yes, she is indeed my girlfriend.”

 

Yoona dreamily sighed while Yuri was talking to Sooyoung. Kekeke she called me girlfriend. Ah her voice is so sweet yet husky~

 

“Secret Garden?” Finally Sooyoung’s voice was brought back down to a normal volume. “Kwon Yuri? Hello my name is Choi Sooyoung.” She said respectfully. “Um… sorry for my attitude back there. I have a major anger issue.” 

“No it’s fine. I would be really worried if my roommate didn’t respond to my calls or texts about her whereabouts too.” Yuri motioned Yoona to pass back her cellphone to her now that she needed to press it against her ear in order to hear Sooyoung now.

“Haha at least you understand.” Sooyoung sighed in relief that for the first time today, she got to talk to a normal person. “So is Yoona going to stay over at your place for a night then?”

“Yeah that’s the plan. We are going to have a sleepover.” Yuri tried not to smile too much when she saw Yoona leaning her head back against her shoulder, wanting to listen into their conversation. When Yuri caught her Yoona quickly looked over to the other side, suddenly becoming very interested at the wall. “Is that okay?”

“So far, I trust you to take good care of that crazy so it’s fine. Just tell Yoona to remember telling me beforehand okay?”

“I will, but don’t blame her.” Yuri said as she leaned her head sideways against Yoona’s, causing her heart to beat like a butterfly’s flutter. “I think she forgot to tell you where she was since she was so excited about staying over at my place for a night.”

“Wow…Seriously…How did Yoona end up with someone like you?”

“I don’t know. I would never have thought that I would be in love, especially in love with a girl. But I guess that proves life is truly an unique mystery huh?”

“I guess so…Well I have to go now. I have to call the other roommate of Yoona’s and mine now. Goodnight! And Yoona?”

“What?” Yoona said after Yuri pressed her cellphone on her ear.

“BEHAVE WELL!”

 

As their conversation ended with a click, Yoona shrieked and covered her ear in pain.

 

“Yoong!” Yuri quickly placed kisses on Yoona’s ear to hopefully soothe her. “Are you okay?”

“Better with your kisses… But still…Ouch.”

“Oh why did she have to use a microphone to yell at you like that?”

“She…She wasn’t using a microphone Yul…”

“Eh? You had the speaker on then?”

“No…No speaker… That was entirely all of her voice with nothing to aid the volume…”

“… What an amazing gift God has given her then.”

 

[FLASHBACK ENDED]

 

“Sooyoung unnie has some anger issues but I still like her! She cooks so awesome! Of course I love your cooking above anybody else’s.” Yoona giggled.

“Hmm I would love to try her cooking someday.”

“You do?” Yoona smiled as she suddenly has a brilliant idea (like she does all the time). “Sooyoung unnie works at Pear trees so how about someday I treat you there for our dinner date! It will be a surprise so I won’t tell you what date it will be on.”

“Pear trees?” Yuri widened her eyes. “She works at that fancy restaurant?”

“Yep! And we will eat her amazing food there together!”

“Well that sounds like a great idea. We can both save up our money for it!”

“No!” Yoona shook her head wildly, surprising Yuri. “I will be the one who will pay for our dinner. Let me the one to treat you this time.”

“Eh?” Yuri said it a hundredth time. She was so used being self-sufficient that she almost forgot what it was like to have someone caring for you. “Are you sure?”

“Positive! I want to care for you back like how you did the same thing for me when I arrived at this smelly- I mean beautiful city!”

 

Seeing how happy Yoona looked, Yuri couldn’t dare herself to make her sad if she said no.

 

“Okay. I’ll be looking forward to our date then!”

“Yay!” the nature angel clapped excitedly. “This will be so much fun! I will have to call Sooyoung unnie later about this to arrange our date! And I will have to go buy you flowers and-”

 

As Yoona continued to ramble on, Yuri only listened to her while smiling widely. Although she doesn’t have such energy to show off her excitement like the adorable choding, her smile was enough to show how thrilled she was for their future first official date too.

But while Yoona kept on talking, Yuri’s hand was becoming very sore after all that comforting she did for the past few minutes.

 

“Um Yoong? Let me stop my hand.” Yuri whined. “My hand is getting really sore.”

“Jinga?” Yoona’s eyes were widened.

 

Yuri stopped comforting Yoona’s head and brought her hand to her lap. But before she could do so, Yoona had already gotten a hold of her hand and started to massage it like there’s no tomorrow.

 

“Yoong…”

“Sorry for making you comfort my pabo head for so long. So in return, I will tend your hand until it feels all better!”

“Yoong your head is not stupid.” Yuri shook her head. “I love comforting your head because I love your imaginative mind inside there.” She smiled and laid her hand on top of Yoona’s which was giving gentle squeezes to her other sore hand.  

“Kekeke.” Yoona blushed when Yuri complimented her. I have an imaginative mind kyah my girlfriend thinks I’m smart~

“Hey it looks like you’re tightening a kimbap roll!”

“What’s a ki-mm bahp roll?”

 

This was one of the many reasons why Yuri likes Yoona; her innocent-like curiosity was so adorable. Instead of being annoyed like most people, she had no problem helping her out.

 

“It’s a dish where rice with vegetables and meat is wrapped around with dried, crunchy seaweed. It is a healthy dish but it is really delicious too!”

“Kim bahp roll?” Yoona’s mouth was drooling. “That sounds so good…”

“I can make it for you later if you want-”

“What about now?”

“Eh? Now?” Yuri widened her eyes. “Are you hungry right now?”

“Uh-huh!” Yoona nodded excitedly. “Are we going to eat more food of yours?”

“I’m afraid not. Sorry Yoong but we don’t have all of the ingredients for kimbap.”

 

Yoona sadly dropped her head and shoulders down at the news; her stomach let out a small, lowly growl.

 

“But maybe we could satisfy your hunger by making some popcorn?” Yuri suggested. “And with popcorn, we could watch a movie too!”

“Pop…Corn? Moo-vie?” Yoona titled her head in confusion again. “So we’re going to make food by playing k-pop next to a corn and then we are going to watch a cow mooing a letter V?”

As in turns out for the nature angel, unfortunately, her guesses were not even close; popcorn is a snack item while a movie is a moving picture inside of a box used for entertainment. But she made Yuri laughed so hard that she was rolling on the floor couple of times to relieve her stomach so that was something good for Yoona since she has three goals.

 

1. Love Kwon Yuri with all of your heart
2. Make Kwon Yuri laugh and smile as much as you can
3. Be the only one for Kwon Yuri

 

As Yuri was leading Yoona to her small kitchen again, instead of walking normally beside her, Yoona was staying closely to Yuri’s side while holding onto her hand tightly along the way.

 

“You like my hand a lot?” Yuri teased.

“No I like you a lot.”

 

At Yoona’s response, Yuri turned her face to the other side so she wouldn’t have to see her blushing face. Although she was known to be very shy especially around over-friendly people, she liked the touches from Yoona. They were so soft and gentle. Yuri had never felt that kind of touch from anyone before.

In the kitchen, Yuri began teaching Yoona on what popcorn is and how to cook it. Yoona scrunched her face when Yuri brought out a flat paper bag from her cabinets.

 

There are seeds inside of that bag? How is that enough for us to eat?

 

But once Yuri moved over to where the magical box was it, Yoona was amazed at the technology of humans of Earth.

The magical box was called a microwave that has a main job of “reheating food with its amazing powers (quoted by Yoona)”. After placing the bag inside of the microwave, Yuri set the timer to four minutes before she clicked the start button.

As the bag was spinning round and round on a plate inside of the microwave, Yoona was watching the bag closely while Yuri was behind her, smiling secretly to herself as she knew Yoona will be excited at the of cooking popcorn.

 

Pop!

“Hmm? That bag just made a sound?”

Pop! Pop! Pop!

“Oh I get it! The corn seeds are making those popping sounds! Pop…Corn!” Yuri then smiled widely. “Yul! Yul!  The bag is getting filled! It’s getting bigger!”

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

“Pop! Pop!” Yoona jumped like how those corn kernels were popping. “Pop! Pop!”

 

And with a ding, Yuri took out the bag which was now full of popcorn.

 

“Tada!” She said as she opened the bag, letting the hot, buttery steam flowing out from it.

Yoona sniffed the steam, sighing in the heavenly scent. “Wow it smells so good!”

“Come here and try it.” Yuri took out one popcorn and blew on it before feeding it to Yoona.

Crunch! Crunch!

“Omo!” Yoona widened her eyes. “It is so delicious!” Without hesitation, Yoona took out one popcorn and blew it also before holding it in front of Yuri’s mouth. “Here Yul! Try it!”

Yuri laughed and obeyed her girlfriend by eating the single popcorn from her hand. “Mmm so good!”

 

After pouring the rest of the popcorn into a bowl, the couple went back to the living room and sat back down on the couch. Yoona was busily eating the popcorn while Yuri was searching on Netflix on what movies they should watch.

 

“Hmm…Have you ever watch Lion King before Yoong?”

“Mmmphno!” Yoona’s voice was muffled because it was full of popcorn.

“Omo…You need to watch it then! Disney movies are amazing!”

 

After Yuri turned off the lights and began playing the movie, Yoona immediately stopped eating and started to feed Yuri. At the opening scene, Yoona was entranced by the colorful art and movements the characters made on screen. Not to mention that the songs were really catchy too.

Yuri knew the songs by heart so she sang them out loud and proud with the characters on screen while Yoona was clapping along, laughing at the shy and gentle girl who was singing so crazily and care-free. It then made her realized that her girlfriend is actually very kkab only around her close friends.

 

“Hakuna matata! What a wonderful phrase! Hakuna matata! Ain’t no passing craze~”

“It means no worries! For the rest of your days!” Yoona sang back, getting the catch of the song.

“It’s our problem freeee!”

“Philosooooophy!”

“Hakuna matata!” Both Yuri and Yoona sang in unison, laughing out loud of their outrageous duet.

 

After the scene, both Yoona and Yuri were still acting dorky with each other until a subtle, romantic song began to play. It was the scene of Simba and Nala falling in love as adults when they found each other after a long time.

 

Can you feel the love tonight?

The peace the evening brings.

The world for once, in perfect

Harmony with all its living things

 

Yuri was swaying to the song until she felt a strong arm wrapped around her shoulder. Looking to one side, she found Yoona smiling at her who then laid her head on Yuri’s shoulder. Instead of focusing on the movie now, both of the women were only focusing on each other.

Through their loving eyes, they were asking each other the same question. Can you feel the love tonight?

And one would respond with a kiss on a head. Then another who would reply back with a kiss on a forehead. And the messaging goes on and on until it had reached their lips. And from there, their silent conversation was ended as they sealed it off with their long but gentle kiss.

 

Can you feel the love tonight?

You needn’t look too far.

Stealing through the night’s uncertainties

Love is where they are.

“That movie was so good.” Yoona stretched as she yawned. “I have to show that to Sooyoung and Tiffany later for sure.”

“Yeah but you should do that after you sleep.” Yuri yawned along. “Let’s wash up before we go to bed hmm?”

 

When Yuri gave Yoona an extra toothbrush to brush with, Yoona made a silent prayer and gave herself a cheer before she put toothpaste on it.

 

After all that trouble I made with Sooyoung on how to brush my teeth, I need to do this well!

 

Taking in a deep breath, Yoona began to brush her teeth like she remembered from Sooyoung.

 

Don’t swallow it. Don’t swallow it. Don’t swallow it.  

 

After counting two minutes in her head, Yoona spat the foam out and rinsed with water (to which she also spat out also contrast to when Yoona kept on swallowing it, insisting it is such a waste to spit out water like that).

 

“I did it!” Yoona jumped with joy. “I did it on the first try!” She smiled brightly in front of the mirror, impressed with her work. “Watch out world! Yoona can brush her teeth so pro now! You got nothing on her!” She laughed victoriously before beginning to wash her face.

 

The laughter coming out of the bathroom made Yuri curious. “Huh? What could be so funny in there?”

 

Yuri then tried to ignore that thought since she knew Yoona is always smiley and positive. But when saw Yoona coming out of the bathroom with a huge smile on her face, her curiosity level grew over 9000.

 

“Uh Yoong? Why is your smile so big?” Yuri asked with an amusing smile.

“Oh I…” Yoona tried to look for a proper excuse. “My pimple disappeared?”

“Pimple?” Yuri scanned over Yoona’s perfect milky smooth face. “Uh I didn’t know it was there before but good for you!”

 

And as Yuri casually went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, Yoona hurriedly went back to her phone and quickly sent a text message to Sooyoung.

 

To: Sooyung unnie

Guess what?! I DID IT! I BRUSHED MY TEETH CORRECTLY ON THE FIRST TRY! :D AREN’T YOU PROUD OF IT? ARE YOU GOING TO CRY OF HAPPINESS BECAUSE OF MY ACHIEVEMENT? :’D

When Yuri came back she found Yoona sitting on a couch, looking at her excitedly.

 

“So where do we sleep together Yul?”

“Eh?” Yuri said before looking down on the ground.

“Hmm?” Yoona looked at Yuri worriedly. “What’s wrong Yul?”

“Well I don’t really have a bed yet. I only have a thick, twin-size mattress and a couch.” Yuri confessed, looking embarrassed.

“So? The mattress here already looks big for the both of us.”

“Eh?”

Yoona walked over to where the mattress was laying in the middle of the living room (the table was pushed by Yuri earlier to make more room for the mattress). She slipped underneath the pink fluffy blanket and nuzzled her face against the pillow.

 

“See? Lots of room!” Yoona emphasized as she lifted up the covers for the other to see how much space there was on the bed. “We can easily sleep together!”

“I guess you’re right.” Yuri smiled as she began approaching the bed too.

 

After slipping in the covers Yuri was laying on the edge of the mattress, trying not to touch Yoona as she doesn’t want to make her uncomfortable.

However Yoona was rolling her eyes at Yuri’s actions.

 

“Yul…I said we can sleep easily together. By that I meant like this.”

 

Yuri’s heart began to beat uncontrollably when she felt Yoona hugging her from behind, spooning her. Yoona easily brought Yuri a little closer to the middle of the mattress where it will be a lot more comfortable than the edges of the mattress.

 

“Better?”

“Yes…”

 

Yuri had never slept with somebody in a same bed before because she was used to be all alone in majority of her whole life. She was thinking too much to whether she can move her legs so she could be more comfortable or to move her position so Yoona could be more comfortable. She didn’t know what to do. She was beginning to hyperventilate.

Yoona could feel how nervous Yuri was based on her wild heartbeat. And in order to soothe her, she laid kisses on the back of her neck.

 

“Relax Yul…Do whatever you like that feels the most comfortable.” Yoona whispers after each kiss.

“I’m sorry Yoong for acting like this…” Yuri breathed as she felt Yoona’s soft lips on her sensitive tanned skin. “It’s just that it’s my first time sleeping with someone in a same bed and my first time being held like this…”

“And I want to make this first time comfortable. When we sleep, if your body needs to move around then it can. But please let me hold onto you as we sleep.” Yoona cuddled closer to Yuri, closing her eyes as she began to slow down her kisses on the back of Yuri’s neck. “I like being around your presence, close to your body Yuri.”

“I like being held by you Yoona.”

 

Although Yoona’s kisses were slow, she didn’t stop. Accompanied with the crickets of the cool summer night and Yoona’s sweet kisses, Yuri had a hard time staying awake. Her eyes fluttered at the incredible she was surrounded with. The more she relaxed, the more of her body fit well along with Yoona’s slim figure. Before Yuri fell into deep sleep, she muttered a word to Yoona.

 

“Goodnight Yoona.”

 

As Yuri went to sleep, Yoona smiled softly at the sight and laid her last kiss on her hair.

 

“Goodnight Yuri.”

 

And with that both girls were now sleeping together in each other’s arms, feeling contented.
