OT: Luhan/Tao

Everybody knew that Luhan was a big brother material. He liked to pamper the younger kids in EXO, Sehun and Jongin in particular.

Maybe because they reminded him of his family back home, as the two were really kids at heart.

But even when everyone could see how the maknaes line adored Luhan so very much, it was clear for him and others that there was something that he could not interfering between the two maknaes.

Jongin and Sehun sometimes lost in their own world that no one, not even their favorite hyung could come in.

Then when EXO-M and EXO-K separated their activities, he found out that there was another person who actually suffered from being the third wheel (or fourth?) on the Jongin-Sehun bonding.

Because he supposed to be one of their maknaes. Although it was clear that Zitao was far more mature (in appearance) than the two brats they left in Korea.

Luhan asked himself on why he kept pampering the maknaes when he sometimes thought they did not need him anyway.

But looking at Zitao, and the younger never ending effort to take part of the maknae world of EXO, he knew that was his nature anyway. A baby face singer with a big brother instinct.

So he reached out more to the youngest (their youngest in China anyway) and took him under his wings.

when he spaced out and whispered soothing words when Wufan or Yixing was hard on him when he made mistake on the rapping and dancing.

So Luhan was not surprised when Zitao turned to him instead to others on that day in the airport. Whining like a little kid who lost his sleeping time to his favorite hyung.

“Hyung, my head is spinning.”

 “It’s okay. Just lean on me until you feel better. Don’t worry with others.”

Then he felt Yixing shoulder touched his own in a ghostly way while Jongdae and Minseok shifted closer to them as to protect them. He looked at Wufan with the corner of his eyes and his leader nodded softly.

Because even after all limelight and fame they experienced now, Zitao was still a baby panda who would need their protection.

And Luhan would make sure that Zitao would never feel left alone on the maknaes world he supposed to be inside.
