Why can't you just admit it. Your the only one in denial. You love him yet you keep saying otherwise. Can't you hear your heart beat when you see him. Can't you tell how clamy your hands get when he's near you. 

"Ugh..what time is it?"

"Oh good your up"

"Kai is that you? What are you doing in my room?" Taemin said groggily as he sat up from the bed

" 'Scuse me but your in my room. You blanked out after I got home while I was talking to my mom. It's good you woke up because it's time to leave. The ceremony will start in a couple of minutes and I didn't want to leave you by yourself. God knows what you'd do"

"Yah you sound as if I've never woken up without you near me"

"Yeah yeah. You can continue grumbling after you've gotten yourself dressed and in the car. Mom is waiting for us"

"Okay got it. Your going to have to let me borrow some clothes since I'm not at home and am not prepared for the occasion"

"Already ahead of you. Clothes is in the restroom. I'll wait for you downstairs." Kai said as he walked out

"Hmm he sure is strange I wonder what's up with him?" great now I'm talking to myself out loud. I'm going crazy. I wonder if she'll be there. Of course she will Kai said it was the only reason why she came. 

"Taemin if you dont come down within the next 5 minutes were leaving without you!" Kai screamed

"Going going" Sheesh I'm going. Guess while I was babling I changed my clothes. Aish I need to concentrate the only important thing here is that she's back. I finally learned her name. Stacey. Nice it suits her. Taemin thought as he walked down and headed towards Kai out the door.

 "Come on Stacey Pick up, pick up." 

The phone number you dialed does not have a voice mail set up yet. Please try calling later

"Ughh where are you?" Minho said frustrated as he paced back and forth at the entrance of the Ceremonial Hall. 

"Yes. Understood. I'll do that first thing I'm back at the office. No, I told you all I can't come back yet. Postpone the meeting then. I know I asked for the week off late but it was out of my hands. NO! that's final I don't care what he said. You tell him I said that I'm mourning the dead of my FATHER, you heard me" Click.. Ugh I wished they leave me alone

"Stace is that you?"

"Oh Minho your here already?"

"That's it?"

"What?"

"Don't what me. You suddenly leave and all you say now is your here?" Minho said exasperated

"Minho can we not do this right now"

"Why are you always like this. Even then you always pushed me away"

I love you yet you can't see it. I wish I meant something to you. You've always been a strong independent person. Sigh.. You've grown more since the last time

"inho, Minho" Stacey said as she waved a hand in front of him

"Huh, what's wrong"

"Nothing you sort of spaced out and looked like you were gone"

"Oh it's nothing don't worry about it. Should we head in?"

"Uh yeah or hold on I want to wait for Kai. He said that he would come" 

"Alright I'll wait with you"

"Thanks Minho"

"For what?"

"For being here with me. you don't have to but you are and I am grateful for that."

"Stace you know I'd give you the world if I could"

"Im sorry" Stacey said as she smiled sympathetically. Minho knew what she meant. They both did. It wasn't the time nor place to sort things out. But this would have to suffice for now. 

"Stacey!"

"Kai, Im glad your here"

"How could I not, you need me and it's the fare well for Uncle"

"Hmm"

"Stacey"

"Good evening Mrs. Kim"

"We should head inside. Better get this over with now than later." Mrs. Kim said as she walked inside

"I'm sorry about my mom. She's you know how she is"

"It's okay Kai. Don't worry about it. I know they never did accept me. I'm the reason why he never came back"

"Stacey youknow that's not true"

"Kai really it's okay. I just want to see dad one last time" Stacey said as she walked inside with Kai trailing behind her. Minho was soon to follow

"Minho"

"Hmm, oh it's you" Minho said as he stopped and looked at Taemin

"Well don't get too excited"

"Is there something you wanted? Im not in the mood to just stand here and be insulted"

"I know I'm sorry. I just wanted to" Taemin started as he looked at Minho and for once he thought Minho looked decent and not a pompous, self absorbed jerk. "Forget it. I'm going inside" Taemin said as he jogged to catch up to Kai

"Ahh. If I could read minds that would be awesome" Then you'd know what's running in his head and probably understand him better 

***Inside The Hall***

"How dare you show your face here. Of all the places. Do you have no dignity and respect?"

"Aunties" Kai said as he tried calming his aunts

"No it's alright Jongin" Stacey said as she kneeled doown and bowed

"Stacey!"

"No, both of you stop ot's alright" Stacey said as she remained bowing and motioned for them to not do anything

"I don't expect for you to accept me, all I ask for is that you let me attend his funeral and you'll never have to see me again. He was the best thing that happened to me. I just want to say my final good bye"

"Come on Stacey get up" Kai said as he pulled her up by the arm

"Uncle would be ashamed of all you. All we have done to her is hurt her and she has never disrespected any one of you. You guys dare to call yourself mature adults. Yet you all are acting like immanture babies who have no soul. Uncle loved her as if she was family. She was able to fill his life with joy something we all couldn't do. Instead of honoring him your all going against everything he taught us. If Uncle was still alive he would be ashamed of all of you. She has every right if not more to be here. Anyone who doesn't feel like seeing her, the door is right there, you know the way out"

"KAI!"

"No mom this has gone far too long. Stacey will stay and she will say her fare well to him"

"Thank you, Kai"

"Don't Thank me yet. Auntie hasn't received the news about Uncle. Now come I'll go with you" Kai said as he walked with her towards the closed coffin. While the others only had an ashamed look on their faces.

Alrighty so that's that.. The real story begins next chapter. I won't really get into details of the funeral because honestly speaking I've never been to one, or I have but we have this thing where we pray the rosery for four days straight. I never saw the coffin so I can't really explain it or write about it lol
