"Help me park the car. Thanks! "Hyukjae said, before tossing his car keys to his valet as he dashed up the steps to his mansion. 

 

It was as if Hyukjae was suddenly a god that had to be respected. The whole house was in chaos but when Hyukjae entered, everybody crowded around him and murmurred words of praise and happiness. Hyukjae was confused. 

 

"What's going on? Where's Donghae?"

 

One of the servants spoke up. "Master, you're finally back! Donghae has been crying in his room ever since he woke up and has locked himself inside. We tried to ask him to open the door but were ignored. "

 

Hyukjae widened his eyes in shock. 

 

Going up the stairs two at a time, Hyukjae found himself facing a locked room. He wanted to break the door open but feared scaring Donghae even more. 

 

"Donghae? Hae? Open the door. Please? You're scaring me. " Hyukjae pleaded. 

 

The next thing he knew, he was greeted by Donghae who pounced on him while snuggling into his neck. Hyukjae felt so relieved and tightly hugged back as he nuzzled into Donghae's hair. They stayed in this position until Hyukjae felt Donghae sagging into him before realising that Donghae was still weak from the attack. 

 

Hyukjae gathered the already tired and pale looking Donghae into his arms and pushed the door open so that they could enter. Gently placing Donghae onto the bed, Hyukjae wanted to clean up the mess made in the room when he felt a slight tug at the end of his shirt. Turning back, Hyukjae saw a teary-eyed Donghae looking as if he lost something precious. But what broke Hyukjae's heart was when he saw Donghae mouthing those two words, "Don't leave. "

 

Hyukjae rushed to Donghae's side and soothed him. He murmured words like, "I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here right? Shhh...I'll be by your side. I love you. " 

 

Upon hearing those three magic words, Donghae momentarily stopped crying. He couldn't believe his ears! He had been waiting for Hyukjae to say those three words since he was six! It was like a dream come true! 

 

Hyukjae had noticed Donghae's reaction and couldn't help but give a chaste kiss to his thin lips causing Donghae to freeze in surprise. Hyukjae smiled at the sight but frowned almost immediately. Had he been too harsh to Donghae? Was ignoring his feelings for Donghae too overboard? Why hadn't he admitted to loving Donghae earlier? If he had, Donghae wouldn't have been so hurt and traumatised by thinking that he was going to leave him. 

 

Hyukjae was distracted by his thoughts when Donghae suddenly tapped his cheek, trying to get his attention. Hyukjae turned his head to look at Donghae who pleaded through his eyes for Hyukjae to say 'I love you' to him another time. Hyukjae couldn't help but smile. 

 

"I love you. There isn't a need to plead. I love you and I'm never going to stop loving you. You're my everything. " Hyukjae whispered to Donghae before passionately kissing those thin lips of his. Hyukjae put all his feelings of lust and love into that kiss, as if that was the last kiss they would have. Donghae couldn't help but moan into that kiss. He could feel that love and passion that Hyukjae had for him, making him feel loved. 

 

Hyukjae withdrew from the kiss, making Donghae whimper. Hyukjae caressed Donghae's cheek while gazing into those innocent eyes of his lover. How could he have harmed Donghae like this? 

 

"Sleep, Hae. You'll need the rest. I promise to stay here and be here when you wake up okay? Love you. " Hyukjae said as he tucked both him and Donghae snugly under the cover. Donghae closed his heavy lidded eyes as he gripped onto the hem of Hyukjae's sleeve for fear that when he woke up, Hyukjae would be gone. Hyukjae noticed it and to ensure the tired lover of his that he would still be with him, wrapped his arms protectively around his waist. Donghae instinctively snuggled into Hyukjae's embrace. 

 

"I promise to you, Hae, that this will be the last time you'll be afraid of me leaving. I'm going to bind myself tightly to you so that you won't fear that I'll leave you. I'll make it up to you. I love you. " Hyukjae willed himself just before he let sleep take over him.
