Chapter 7

The following week, Ryosuke was absent in the class. Mirai was unease, because of not seeing Ryosuke this day. She waited until the class ended, so that she could visit Ryosuke. She was busy fixing her things when Kanata-kun suddenly showed up.

“Mirai-chan, anou, sorry about the acquaintance party last week. i didn’t mean to do that . im sorry.” Kanata said.

Instead of answering him, she suddenly slapped him on his face.  Good thing they are the only ones left in the room.

“What’s that for?” Kanata said, shocked.

“That is for rejecting my best friend’s feeling for you! Actually, I almost forgive you for what you have done to me last party, but because of hurting Ryo-chan’s feelings, I WILL NEVER EVER FORGIVE YOU!”  Mirai angrily said.

“Look, it would be so weird if I will also love him back. We’re both MALE! It will turn out to be a anime or manga.” Kanata defended.

“I don’t care. At least you said it in a nice way!” Mirai said and turns her back on Kanata. She was about to leave the room when Kanata suddenly grabbed her right arm and pulled her into his body.

“Let me go!” Mirai said and pushes Kanata away.

“I won’t!” Kanata said and hugged Mirai tightly.

Mirai suddenly kicked Kanata in between his legs and run outside the room, leaving Kanata in pain.

“She’s really a though girl huh…..itai!” Kanata said and slightly smiled between the pain he suffered from Mirai’s kick.

Mirai catches her breath when she was already outside the school building.

‘What is he doing? Wait! Why my heart does beats fast! chotto!’

 She took a deep breath and fixes herself. She will visit Ryosuke at his house.

After 30 minutes she was standing in front of Ryosuke’s house.

“Ryo-chan?” she shouted and presses the doorbell.

She was standing for about a minute, still no one responded.

She decided to enter the house. She was surprised to see that the door was not lock. She opened it.

“ryo-chan?” she called.

Darkness met her eyes.

“excuse me.” She whispered and slowly takes off her shoes.

She lurks around the first floor of the house. No one was here. She decided to go upstairs to check Ryosuke on his room. She opened the door. She was shocked to see Ryosuke lying unconsciously on the floor.

“RYO-chan!” she immediately went to his side. “Ryo-chan?! Please wake up!” I cried, tapping his cheeks.

He moaned.

“M-Mi-chan?” he said while recognizing her presence.

“This is me. What happened? You scared me!” she said and started to cry.

“E-EH? What are you saying?” Yamada said and hugged her.

“I found you lying here, unconscious.” Mirai answered, still crying.

Ryosuke smiled. He gently tapped Mirai on her back.

“Don’t cry Mi-chan. Im okay.” Ryosuke said.

“Is it true? You’re absent in class. I thought you’ve done something bad.” Mirai said.

“Im not that kind of person, okay? And besides, im will not give up on him.” Ryosuke said.

Mirai suddenly release herself from Ryosuke.

“WHAT? Ryo-chan, are you out of your mind? He hurt you. And I will not allow that to happen again!” Mirai said.

“Relax mi-chan, I know he will not love me for now, but maybe if I exert too much effort maybe he could also love me back. “ Ryosuke said.

“He’s a devil you know that! Don’t be so stupid for him! “ Mirai angrily said.

“Mi-chan, I know ---“

“FORGET IT! If you’ll continue of what you are planning then so be it ! But here’s the deal, I WILL NEVER EVER COMFORT YOU AGAIN IF HE REJECTS YOU AGAIN !” with that Mirai left Ryosuke on his room and ran outside the house. She could here Ryosuke calling her, but she didn’t bother to come back.

“HE’S SO STUPID ! WHY DOES HE LIKE KANATA SO MUCH ! “ Mirai said to herself. She was already crying. She ran in the streets , not even bother if people looking at her.

She was about to turn left when she bumped into someone.

“ITAI!” she cursed.

“Daijoubu desu ka? Anou~ gomen nasai, im not looking on my way.” She heard an unfamiliar voice talk to her.

She wipe her eyes to see who is that person. She was stunned to see a beautiful, no, a hot guy standing infront of her.

“Anou? Are you okay? Did something hurt you?” the guy said.

The guy helped her to stand.

Mirai was examining the guy’s face. ‘He’s handsome. But he has this feature like a woman.’

“H-Hai, Arigato, Sorry im not in my usual self.” Mirai apologized.

“its okay. You sure you’re okay?” he said.

“Hai. Gomen ne ~” Mirai said.

“hmm, If you like, I can invite you to have some tea or coffee ?” he said.

“e-eh? Im okay . thank you for the invitation. I’ll go ahead.” Mirai said and left the guy behind.

The guy left behind and follows his gaze to her.

The next day, Mirai ignored Ryosuke the whole day. She’s still a bit mad at him. And also Kanata-kun always nags her.

“Mi-chan !” She heard Ryosuke called her. It’s already the end of the class.

“Nani?” she said with a cold tone.

“Ne ~ Im sorry okay. Please don’t ignore me.  I hate being ignored by you.” Ryosuke said and hugged Mirai.

Mirai took a deep breath and slightly pushes Ryosuke away.

“Hai. You’re forgiven. But please, don’t push yourself to him too much. Respect yourself Ryo-chan.” she said.

“Hai. I know my limits. So are we good?”  Ryosuke said and smiled.

Mirai cant resists his smile. She also smiled.

“Hai.”

Ryosuke smiled and hugged her tight.

 After they talked at the school a while ago, she headed to the supermarket to buy the things her mother said. She was busy inspecting the can goods when someone bumped her.

“Itai !” she angrily muttered.The can she was holding falls down to her right foot.”Are you blind?!”

“im sorry, I didn’t mean to --- OH ! ITS YOU!” the guy said .

She recognized the guy when she looks at his direction. It was the same guy yesterday.

“It’s you. Anou im sorry if I yell at you.” She said.

“It’s okay. It’s my fault. By the way are you alright? “ he said and look at her right foot.

“It hurts a little, but im okay” she said and smiled.

“Anou, your foot must be cured. Come with me. Im not taking a no as an answer.” The guy said and grabbed her hands.

They went to a coffee shop after they paid their groceries.

Mirai observed the whole coffee shop while she was waiting. It has a nice interior design that makes you feel comfortable.

“hai, drink this. It is our best seller.” The guy smiled and put a cup of coffee in the table.

“Thank you. Is it okay if im here? “ Mirai asked and look around..

The guy laughed. “Of course. Don’t mind them.” He said , referring to the 3 staffs at the counter who was looking at their direction.

The guy took a sit on a little chair and put Mirai’s foot on his lap. He presses the cold compress on her foot.

“Tell me if it hurts.” The guy said.

“Thanks . Anou, can I ask?” Mirai said and look at the guy. She examined his face. ‘Kyaaaaah ! he’s really handsome ! though his face is so smooth, just like girl’s face.’

“Hai?” the guy smiled.

“What is your name? I mean we already meet 2 times. And you help me with this.” She said then blushed. she was so fascinated by his smile.

“Sorry for the late introduction. My name is Rei—“the guy didn’t have a chance to continue his sentence because Mirai’s phone rang.

“Excuse me” Mirai said and talked to her phone.

After a few seconds, she hung up and apologize to the guy.

“Anou, gomen nasai, but I really need to go now. Thank you so much for this.” She said and took the last sip from her cup.

“Okay. You’re welcome here anytime.  Till next time.” The guy said and smiled.

“Hai” Mirai said and went out of the coffee shop.

Before she leave , she look back at the coffee shop and saw the guy waving his hands to her. She bowed and smiled to him.

‘I hope we can meet again.´  she said to herself.
