Sigh. I know I should be finishing Nihongo, but this storyline was just calling to me! Sorry! Honestly, I had hit a writer's block with Nihongo. :P Hence, the distraction. Anyway, here's a loooong foreword.

Fans of KARA and SHINee rejoiced upon knowing that their two favorite groups will be doing another special stage together for this year's Gayo Daejun.

  It's about time too, since their last collaboration in 2009 left the fans wanting more; something new and juicy to talk about.

  For the KARA members, however, this joint venture could be a misfortune.

  They are fully aware of the 'Shining Kara' fandom, so there was pressure that comes with it on the girls.

  Only Nicole was thrilled to learn about the collaboration. That is no surprise to anyone, considering the fact that she and Key are like best friends for life. Or maybe more. You could never know with these two.

  Jiyoung recalled what Gyuri explained to her about their collaboration. At first, all of them would dance the opening routine. Then, the song would be divided into several parts, and in each of them, one couple would perform on stage alone, while the others would be in the background -- flirting.

  Jiyoung's eyes widened at Gyuri's choice of words.

  The KARA leader shrugged nonchalantly. "That's what the choreographer said."

  She continued explaining that another couple will take its turn to dance while the first couple joins the rest in the background. Then the third, fourth and fifth couple will do the same.

 In the end, all five couples will move forward and perform the finishing dance number.

  Jiyoung shivered at the thought of performing together with a boy group during a live show. She remembered the time when they performed Juliette, and Every Little Step with 2PM, and how nerve-wrecking those moments were.

  Not all fans were agreeable to that idea, and she knows how crazy some fans can be. KARA performed with a risk those nights.

  Jiyoung had opted to think of nothing but the dance for Juliette. She also had a crush on Minho then, but his joking manner had helped ease the tension. Now she thinks of him as a brother she never had.

  She wondered how the fans are going to take the collaboration this time around, now that the idols are older and are "allowed" to do "more" on stage.

  She also wondered what that "more" could be, and if she’s ready for it. She shivered once again.
