Chapter 40

            The ball is going great. Yoseob and MinKyung are currently in their own little world dancing, talking and smiling. Yoseob asks, “How are you feeling? Are you tired? Do you want to sit down?” MinKyung said, “Oppa, I’m fine, but we can rest for a bit.” Yoseob said, “Okay.” They walked over to HaeNi, who is sitting down waiting for DuJun to come back with their drinks and food. As MinKyung sits down on the chair that Yoseob pulls out for her, MinKyung said, “Unni, you’re not going to dance with DuJun oppa?” HaeNi said, “Who would want to dance with him?!” MinKyung points at DuJun’s direction and smirks, “Apparently, they do.” HaeNi looks over to the direction that MinKyung is pointing. HaeNi sees a couple girls talking to DuJun. She doesn’t know what they are talking about but she sees DuJun kindly rejecting them before walking towards her with the drinks and food. HaeNi mumbles, “Well, isn’t he so popular? Don’t they know he’s engaged?” MinKyung giggles and says, “Well, a lot of guys still confess to you even though they know you’re with DuJun oppa.” HaeNi said, “This is still a trial for me.” MinKyung said, “Araso, araso.” Yoseob said, “You don’t have to worry. DuJun hyung only have you in his eyes.” HaeNi said, “I don’t care. It’s not like I have feelings for him or anything.”

            At that moment, DuJun is back. DuJun said as he set the plate and drinks down, “What are you guys talking about?” MinKyung giggles while HaeNi said, “Nothing.” Yoseob asks, “Where’s EunHee and KiKwang?” DuJun answers, “I don’t know. I last saw time around the drinks area.” MinKyung said, “I guess they might not need our help after all.” HaeNi said, “Probably not but we can still do it anyways.”

[KiKwang & EunHee]

[Flashback]

            Before KiKwang and EunHee get out of his car, KiKwang said, “Don’t leave my side when we are inside.” EunHee said angrily, “Why should I stay by your side?” KiKwang said to himself, “Because I don’t want other guys to hit on you.” Of course, he didn’t tell EunHee that. KiKwang gives her a serious face and said, “Just…for once, don’t argue with me and do as I say.” EunHee, seeing how serious KiKwang is, said after a sigh, “Fine…”

[Flashback Ends]

            EunHee is standing at the balcony area waiting for KiKwang. EunHee grumbles, “Stupid Casanova. He tells me not to leave his side yet he leaves me here. Why did I even agree to be his date? This is why I hate owing somebody.” KiKwang says with smirk, “If you missed me that much, you should have come to me.” EunHee gasps and turns around to see KiKwang holding two drinks with a grin on his face. EunHee huffs, “I don’t know what are you talking about.” KiKwang said with a grin, “Here, I went to get a drink for you.” EunHee accepts the drink and said, “You’re despicable.” KiKwang said, “Sure sure. You said that many times already.” EunHee sticks out her tongue at him.

            Suddenly a voice interrupts them, “Wow, Park EunHee, how come you never dressed like that when we were together?” KiKwang and EunHee turn to see
