Against the Wall
Phantasmagoria"Jongin, please----"
Jongin brushes past him quickly, ignoring his call, and it makes Lu Han's heart twinge.
"Talk to me---" he insists, catching up to the dark haired boy intent on pretending he didn't exist.
The airport was not a conducive place for the conversation that Lu Han wanted, but he wanted to get it over with, wanted to go back to the times when what between them was easy going companionship and underneath, the rumbling of the unresolved tension that was the underbelly of their relationship.
Not this one, Lu Han thinks, the silence between them oppressive and the distance between them growing farther apart with each second, ticking like a time bomb.
Jongin looks at him, face impassive, but there was a faint simmering of hurt swirling in his eyes that he couldn't hide.
"Jongin." Lu Han breathes, creeping closer until Jongin is backed up against the wall.
Jongin looks away.
"I'm sorry." Lu Han says as sincerely as he could, whispering the words over the din of the crowd.
"For what, hyung?" Jongin asks, almost coldly.
"For what you think you saw." Lu Han replies.
"And what did I see?"
"Se Hun and me." Lu Han says softly. He doesn't say more than that, but he knows it is the truth when Jongin tries futilely to hide the sharp, drawn out breath.
Jongin waves his hand carelessly. "I saw nothing." he lies through his teeth, pretends there wasn't anything he saw, that he didn't care.
Lu Han hums. "Exactly. Nothing happened." he says slowly, drawing a hand close to press through Jongin's clothing, the heat emanating hot and suggestive as it laid flat on Jongin's lower rib.
Jongin in a breath, stuck on whether to pull Lu Han close or to push him away.
He settles for adopting a stance of feigned nonchalance. "Sure, hyung." he says quickly, stepping away from the wall and going back to where the others were, where it was safe and secure, away from the almost predatory gleam swimming in Lu Han's eyes.
Jongin could still feel the phantom press of Lu Han's fingertips.
