The Dark Blood
“yun.. do you think everything will be okay?” mae ri asked, her voice shaken from the thought visible on her mind
Yunho whose loading the luggage into the back seat of his black Lamborghini stop and turn abruptly, looking towards mae ri who’s rubbing her arm, although she’s already wearing the sweater shirt.
He sigh, making his way towards her and cradle her into tight hug and she just press her cheek to his chest, letting his heartbeat rhythm pacing like a music to her ears, the heat he’s providing her with the hugs is just so warmth, so enticing, so ensuring and convincing.
“trust me babe. You’ll be fine.” His firm voice assuring you
“no yun, I don’t want to be fine.. I want to be safe. with you. Not just me alone.” You pat his back somehow.
“I-I can count on you for that right?” you pull away a little to have a better look at his face
His face looks like he’s lost somewhere and his sharp jaw tense somehow that you caress his cheek with the back of your palm.
“promise me that we’ll be safe.. together.” You demand
He sigh, looking down into your eyes, caressing your cheek before he plant a soft kiss on your forehead.
“I promise babe.”
“thanx yun..” you smile, with eyes closed.
Suddenly fears gripping your heart at the thought of all of you facing the committee doesn’t seem too scary anymore.
He ensure you that both of you will be together. Safe.
And after so long in a lifetime, You trust him.
You want to.
Therefore you choose too.
“ok, can we drive back home now?” yunho ask
You nodded and get into the car while he get into the driver seat before speeding his Lamborghini off to the dark forest, one hand on steering wheel, and the others lacing within your fingers, at its rightful place that make his heart flutters although he should be worrying about what’s about to come, but he choose to savor the moment instead.
At Quilletes:
“I never thought you would call me over..” kyuhyun carefully steps toward the very lady that make his heart skip a beat, wearing a soft smiles.
She turns to the voice and with face void of emotions gesture her hands towards the Quillete’s healing room which is the only place that she rest in. the only place she feel safe enough. Her territory.
Kyuhyun just follow her inside. His eyes creep at every inch of the room, just a single oak bed, plain beige bedsheet with a pillow and bolster, beige colour curtain hanging at the wide oak’s window which flowing along with the wind, a small desk with few ancient books on it, a cupboard and a small cactus in a small vase on top of her night stand.
“if you could please stop inspecting my room and turn to me”
Kyuhyun head snap back at chaerin, feeling a bit ashamed to be caught red-handed by her.
“I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to probe into your territory..” kyuhyun said only to earn a look from chaerin with hand cross on her chest “I-I heard from changmin that you don’t really get along well with people and that you are a bit territorial so yeah..” he stuttered a bit at it
“stupid kyuhyun, since when did you stutters in front of a girl damn it?” he scold himself inside.
“whatever.. just don’t act like you know me because no one do.” Chaerin roll her eyes and gesture for him to follow him into another room
Kyuhyun sigh to himself slowly before dragging his feet, following her
“so much like noona.. so hard to decipher..” he monologues again
The room he’s in now is a lot more dimmer than the one he’s in just now, there’s two wall wide and tall book shelf
“so you are just like our healer.. you study from the books of the ancients..” kyuhyun said unknowingly only making chaerin snap
“that is definitely what you shouldn’t be worrying about. We are not here for you to know anything about how I work.” Chaerin said before taking a seat in front of an old woods desk
“well then maybe you should start telling me what are you calling me here for..” kyuhyun snap, irritated by chaerin’s attitude.
“I asked you to came because the committee are trying to make us hunt your sister down.” She said in one breath.
“what?” kyuhyun’s eye widened
“yes, exactly what you are hearing. So that’s why I’m telling you now.”
Kyuhyun’s face change to be so restless, he even bit his lower lips, knitted eyebrows, trying to comprehend the news and what should he do.
“they are hunting her down and chasing her out of dark forest, they even sent few of nomads lurking around her nowadays..” she explains
“damn it.” Kyuhyun spat “and I don’t even know where noona is right now..” kyuhyun gets really frustrated now
“well, I guess yunho found some of them, they are coming back to the villa now..”
“are you tailing them?” kyuhyun ask incredulously
“I got to.. cant risk she gets cut into pieces by those brainless nomads don’t we?” chaerin smirk
“don’t you even dare say those words!”
“what? You know what those nomads are.. They are devils breed.. They don’t think and didn’t know anything, all they do is follow the committees order! They are the dogs the committees use to get all their wish fulfilled! They are well trained killing stunts they are pulling and if you still remember, last time when they crash Jae’s wedding, they almost kill your noona and few of the Quilt’s.”
Kyuhyun stay still
“and that is when your noona is the lady of the dark clan, even with all her power, they manage to damage her that much, just imagine what they could do to her now that she no longer immortals with no power left.” Chaerin continue
“she is left with no power? She’s immortal now?” kyuhyun ask, suddenly the whole room getting a fill of dark vibe evolving around from the fuming direct descendent of dark clan.
“stupid!” kyuhyun is taken aback and the dark vibe around him diminished when chaerin knock his head with her knuckles
“before you emitting another dark vibe and throw death blow, it would be wise if you could think rationally and figure out what to do to save your sister!” chaerin shout, knocking some sense into him
“why are they coming for her? What’s the price? She’s already left dreaded with no power!” kyuhyun said so venomly
“what else? You obviously.” Chaerin chuckles bitterly, annoy that kyuhyun can’t even decipher that very small amount of reasoning
“and the reason you are telling me this details now is?”
“let’s just say I owe your noona a little bit too much than I want to.”
“even when she kill your parents?”
Chaerin snap “I’ve told you what I need to do now, get out of here.” She said coldly before walking into her rooms and locking the door with her power, raging in anger.
Vian’s castle:
“wow.. what a surprise we have here don’t we?” heechul claps his hand for a bit.
“I expected you to be the last that I would see here.. thought that we would have to brought you in here drag by who knows.. few nomads?” seung heon chuckles
“seeing you here, you must have know your place and thought of surrendering?” jae rim chuckles but then smrik “well, its not like both of you have much choices left…” he said, sitting on the beige couch at the centre of the hall.
“I came to make a deal..” kyuhyun said with a stern voice.
Jae rim scowl at that
“now you are being too daring for your own good guy.. behave.. you shouldn’t be demanding too much considering how you have been pushing into a corner” heechul said, eyes gazes blazing black, raging at the brave yunho who seems to doesn’t know his place well, how dare he offer a pact to the committee
“what make you think that we would even listen to you?” seung heon’s voice snide with venom
“I didn’t come here to bargain, if you guys agree to it, then it’s a deal, if it’s not, then it’s a war.” kyuhyun said with a tense blazing red eyes. He know he got the upper hand in this, they desperately need him.
“well.. let’s hear what does the kids have to say first don’t we?” jae rim said
“you stay away from my noona and her life and I’ll be the leader of dark clan like all of you wanted.” He offers.
The three laugh at him
“you think that’s a good enough offer for you to throw at our face kid? You sure have a lot to learn still..” seung heon who teleports to behind his back pats kyuhyun shoulder with his only hand that he had left after the so called feud happen between the committee and the Quilts.
“I’m sorry that I’ve to break my promise to you noona.” He said in his heart.
“and I will train my death blow…” he stops for a bit gaining everyone attention “under your guidance..” he finish it with a desperate to calm down need.
Heechul, seung heon and jae rim throw gaze to each other with smirk, satisfied.
“well well well, you have to first start with.. letting your anger consume you rather than controlling it like how you are doing right now kid..” seung heon said
“I’m sorry noona, I’m sorry..”
Kyuhyun look at all of them before letting anger consuming himself, the one thing that you prohibit him from doing all the time. The whole castle were swirling with dark vibe clouds and strong winds.
Seung heon and jae rim smirk, while heechul shook his head before making his way out, finding this game no longer fun that the price is obtain a little bit too easily than what he has expected of.
While kyuhyun let his anger consume him wholely, the dark vibe emitting bigger and bigger making the whole dark forest clouded in dark, making the shadows and nomads all hiding in their place, screeches in fear.
Kyuhyun screams out loud as he feels every vein in him pop evidently through his skin like it’s going to burst in anytime.
To his least expectation, someone teleport himself in front of him before dabbing a heart shape blade at kyuhyun’s heart before letting the black filling inside the blade to fill kyuhyun’s every inch of heart.
Kyuhyun scream louder at the pain which eating him up with his hand holding that man’s hand, kyuhyun’s nail clawing into his hand, piercing his very skin, earning few drop of black blood drip onto the ground.
That’s when his face turn pale, so pale like he’s at the verge of death, his eyes shut at once for when he open his eyelids, his orb is all black, his vein all changing to black before he is floating in air slowly and slowly, emotionless, soul-less.
“nomads venom..?” seung heon chuckles
“now only would we have him and the whole dark clan under our plan don’t we?” the man smirk, satisfied.
“its so gonna leave u a horrible scar you maknae. Why can’t you control yourself?” jae rim said at their maknae unbelievable act
“yeah.. would be hard to cover my skin now didn’t I?” he smirk before he leave.
=O what did kyuhyun decided to do?
and who is this the other guy called 'maknae' by jae rim?
