There were many more kisses after that dance, and Ji proved more than adequate in showing me. I’d say he relishes in the opportunity to show me each and every time. Only this time, I was always a willing participant.

But it was another 6 years after when we shared another life-changing kiss.

A kiss in front of God and in front of our friends and family, the kiss that binds us together as husband and wife.

I love him and he loves me.

I asked him if he knew this would happen when he kissed me that day when we were eight, and all the other times he did even before we were officially together.

“Do you really not know?” he asked.

He looked at me and his eyes say it all.

“Because you only kiss the one you love.”

I smile, content with his answer.

Deep down I always knew that from the first kiss from Jiyong, I was already a goner.

When he kisses you he isn't doing anything else.

You're his whole universe... and the moment is eternal

because he doesn't have any plans and isn't going anywhere.
