“hyung! Are you at home?” minhyuk called me. “deh, I’m with juniel and minhwan” I replied.

“did you know that Seoul’s Radio Station’s DJ Shin is Shinhye ssi?” “bwo? No I don’t” “palli

listen to it, jae hyung is the letter sender” minhyuk said. Surprised, I hang up on minhyuk.

“juniel, palli turn on the radio, to your favorite station. Palli!” I uttered.

 “I’ve done everything to prove my feelings for this girl, and I think this one will be the last

one. She and I grew up together, I’ve been friends with her brother and together we three

made a strong bond. Being young, I didn’t know what love really means. She is 3 years

younger than me so I tend to take care of her. somewhere inside me says that I need to protect

her. we became best of friends. By the time we reach middle school, I started having this

weird feelings whenever guys , talk to her or be friends with her. but I shrug it off

telling myself that maybe I was being a jealous best friend. When her brother and I went to

Japan to study, I felt that half of my heart is left with her. I call her so often not like her

brother. I wanted to know what she’s doing, I want to know if she’s safe. By then I got a news

that she’s been courted by a certain guy, my heart crushed. But hearing nothing from it

afterwards I feel relieved. When we came back, she’s changed. All her time is devoted with

studies, and our friendship. She shuts all the guys who want to court her. that made my mind

ease. I thought she didn’t need me or her brother to pick a better guy for her. I tried going out

with some girl. She reminds me of my best friend a lot, but after a year of dating, we decided

to end it. back on my singlehood, I drown myself with work. that’s when our friendship got

stronger. I’m happy with her. I feel contented with her. that’s when I realize I love my best

friend. So when I got a chance, I confessed to her.”

Shinhye looked at the letter again. She blinked to compose herself she’s on air so she don’t

need to be stunned now. She looked outside the booth, hoping to find jae but he is not there.

“oh, this letter is really moving. Right listeners” shinhye uttered trying to sound lively. Well,

what? We have a caller already? Okay, put him on air minho ssi” she added “yoboseyo?”

“shinhye ah” shinhye was startled with the voice. She knows it so well, “jae…” she whispered.
