Author Notes
Let's Write the Night AwayAuthor Notes
Now, I'm sure that Author Notes; or as I prefer to call them a/n's, are something that all writers use. Writers like use them to tell their readers what happened whilest they were writing, why they happened to be gone so long, is their chapter proof-read or simply just to communicate with their readers. However, they can still be misused, you know.
I'm going to keep this one simple and short.
Author Notes, belong in the beginning and end of the story. They should not go in the middle of the story, it really ruins the flow of your story, plus you don't have to point everything out. I'm sure you could've just said that in the beginning instead or just wait until the end.
Like really, you'll be reading something seriously like;
'And the door creeked as she pushed it open. She peered into the room, her heartbeat was pumping so loud in her ears, she thought her ear drums were going to pop(A/N; LOL SORRY GUISSS. This might really , but you know, oh well. YOLO). Her hand slowly crawled up the wall, trying to find the light switch'
Oh come on! Couldn't you have just saved that until the end? Or put it in the beginning, if you want the readers to know that badly.
