Title: I Hate Christmas!

Main cast: Reader (16) and Will Pan/Pan Wei Bo (18)

“Why does it have to be the 1^st December today!? Argh! Everyone is in Christmas mood!” You said irritated to yourself as you walked down the street to get home. You hated Christmas! Or you started hating Christmas after your parents died, when you were 9, on Christmas Eve…

You speeded up to get home quickly. You turned the corner and sighed in relief when you saw the entrance to the orphanage.

“Oh hey ____.” The ‘mother’ of the orphanage said. You smiled and stopped up.

“Hi!” She came over to you.

“All the other children have been moved to the orphanage in the other end of the city to hold Christmas there and I’m on my way there now… Are you sure you don’t want to come with us? It’s only going to be a month…”

“Nah, I want to stay here…” Your ‘mother’ sighed. She knew you hated Christmas but every yeah she tried to get you to celebrate it with all the others in the orphanage, but she never succeeded.

“Well, since you’re 16 I think you’re old enough to stay here alone… Here’s some money for food and call me if there’s anything! Okay?” You smiled, took the money, and nodded.

“Okay! See you in a month! Bye!” You waved to her before she went out of the door.

“YES!” You said and jumped around happy. “No one to disturb me now!”  You danced around enjoying yourself.

~Two weeks later~

“I’m bored! Why isn’t there anything to do?” You said and walked around in the big house. All the children had taken the toys and games with them and you didn’t really have any things of that kind… There wasn’t even anything to do on your laptop! You sighed. Just as you were about to go to your room again the doorbell rang. You walked over and opened. An old man where standing outside. “I’m sorry, but we’re not open.” You said and were about to close the door again when the old man stopped you.

“Are you Miss ____?” You looked questioning at him.

“Yeah… Why?”

“Master Pan wants you to hold Christmas with him and his family.”

“Ehm… I’m sorry to ask you this but who is this ‘Master Pan’ guy?”

“He’s an old friend of your dad.” Your eyes widened as he said that. “Are you willing to come with me?” The old man asked. You thought for a minute. Since you didn’t have anything to do anyway and were half bored to death, why not?

“Okay… I’ll get my things first…” You hurried into your room and picked the most necessary things before returning to the door where the old man was waiting patiently. He showed you out to the big limo standing outside. You looked amazed at it.

~A little while later~

When you got out of the car again it was in front of a very big mansion. You couldn’t help but stare in amazement.

“Please come with me.” The old man said after waiting for you in some minutes. You broke out of your little world and smiled embarrassed before nodding and followed him into the house.

“____!” A man said and came over to you as you went inside. He smiled warmly. You couldn’t help but think that he looked somewhat familiar. “Wow! You’ve grown a lot since I saw you when you where just a little girl and you’ve become very pretty!”

“Hehe, thanks…” Soon after, a woman came over to you too.

“Hello ____! We’re happy that you would come!”

“I’m happy to be here!”

“This is my wife by the way.” Master Pan said. “Where’s Will?” He asked her.

“I don’t think he’s home yet…”

“Well, then you just have to meet him later… Let’s show you your room!” You smiled and nodded. They led you upstairs and into one of the first doors on right hand. It was five times as big as the room you had in the orphanage! You placed your bag on the floor and looked around. “We’ll let you be alone for a bit so you can unpack your things… Someone will get you when it’s time to eat.” They smiled to you. You nodded and smiled back. You really liked them. They were really nice and warm people, even though you just met them.

“Wow…” You said as you walked around looking at everything.

~An hour later~

“Miss ____, the food is ready.” The old man said. You realized he must be the family butler. You followed him downstairs and into a big dinning hall. Master Pan, his wife and a guy came into the room at the same time.

“I hope you’re hungry ___! Please sit down.” Master Pan said. You smiled and sat down. “This is our son Will.” He said introducing the guy. He smiled politely. You blushed as your heart skipped a beat.

“H-Hi!” You said. The food then came in and you all started eating while talking with each other. Master Pan told you stories of him and your father when they where young and you listened attentively. After the dinner you and Will walked upstairs. His room was just beside yours. You said goodnight to each other and you walked into your room. As you went to sleep you couldn’t get Will’s smiling face out of your mind.

~Christmas Eve~

You sighed. It was 7years ago today… You took out your picture of your parents. This was the day of the year you missed them the most. You stared at the picture for hours and tears where flowing down your cheeks. Someone knocked on the door.

“____, dinner is ready.” Will said outside the door. You didn’t answer, which resulted in him opening the door. You hated when people saw you crying and hurried to wipe the tears away. He walked over to you. “Are you okay?” He asked worried as he saw your swollen eyes from crying. You tried to smile but couldn’t and just looked down on the picture again. Will sat down beside you and patted you on the back to console you. “It’s okay, just cry…” You tried to hold the tears back but failed and started crying again. After some minutes you stopped, as there was no tears left to cry. Will smiled.

“Thanks…” You quietly said.

“Now, wash your face and come down to get something to eat! I know you don’t like Christmas but… Just try!” He said. You nodded. After you had washed your face you two went downstairs and into the dinning hall where Will’s parents where waiting. The food was served and there was this big Christmas three in the corner. You started eating and talked about everything. You slowly forgot your parents and lightened up a little. After the dinner you walked over to the big three and sat down in the couches placed there. A while after Master Pan handed you a gift. You looked shocked up at his smiling face.

“But… I don’t have any present for you…”

“Don’t think about that! It’s okay. This is something I really want you to have!” You hesitated before accepting the gift and unwrapped it. Your eyes widened in surprise. It was a painting of your father and Master Pan. You smiled.

“Thanks!” He smiled. After some hours having fun, you and Will returned to your rooms. You placed the painting beside the bed and smiled. You then wanted to sit down on the bed but stopped in right time before you had sat down on a little present. You took it up and looked at it. Who could have laid that there? You then slowly opened the present. Inside there was a little box and a card. You opened the box and found a necklace. You smiled and picked it up.

“I[Heart]you.” You read on the pendant. Hmm who could it be from? You took the card.

‘Merry Christmas ____! Hope you like the gift! It represents my feelings for you…! Will.’

You smiled and ran out of the room and into Will’s. He looked surprised at you when you stormed over and hugged him.

“Thanks! I like you too!” He smiled and hugged you back. When you broke away from the hug he helped you put on the necklace. Maybe Christmas wasn’t so bad after all?!
